I was looking for a good place to eat South Indian food and tried Madurai Idly shop in Indiranagar. Tried their Ghee Podi Masala Dosa which comes with two chutneys and sambhar. Loved the taste. Then we also tried Biryani Combo and South Indian Meal. Everything was good.

I had the pleasure of visiting Madurai Idly Shop yesterday and indulging in their Mini Tiffin priced at ₹185. The platter was a complete South Indian delight, featuring soft, fluffy idlis, a perfectly golden and crispy dosa, a crunchy yet soft vada, creamy pongal, and a sweet, aromatic kesari bath. Each item was served with flavorful chutneys and hot sambar, which were the perfect accompaniments to elevate the meal. The pongal was rich and seasoned just right, while the kesari bath had the ideal balance of sweetness and texture. The presentation on a banana leaf added a traditional touch to the experience, making it feel authentic and special. The portion size was more than satisfying, and every bite reflected the quality and attention to detail in their preparation. The ambience of the restaurant is simple yet inviting, and the service was quick and efficient. Whether you’re a local or visiting Bangalore, this is a must-visit spot to enjoy authentic South Indian breakfast or meals. Loved it Very buget friendly, with good quantity and taste. Ground floor is for self serve and the upper one for table service. Staffs are really polite and freindly. Tried Mini idli, podi masla Idli, Podi Masala mini idli, Karivepila Podi Idli, Masala Dosa, Butter paper roast dosa, coffee, Kesari, Pongal, sambar vada,Upma. And I should say each is worth exploring. I really felt close to home. Thankyou

I drove 25 km expecting some Good Food Good location but food not a upto mark food . Nothing like the name ro type from Madhurai Parrota is like ready made or kerala parota and combination was veg kurma ( who will give veg kurma for parrota) Very disappointing Little Pricy But nothing authentic Hope it improves

Food quality is good. Taste is more suitable for people who come from TN. Place is hygiene and parking is available free of cost. Good yo go place for quick breakfasts and lunch.
