Went for a family lunch. Totally love the place. The food was delicious. We tried the veg fried rice, avocado & cream cheese sushi, mushroom & bell pepper bao with Mojito & pina colada. We had a great time here. Staff was friendly &helpful. Overall 10 on 10.

Wanted to have a quick lunch in indiranagar n stopped by at Fatty Bao. Simple space with minimalist decor . However the food stands out well Tried their crab cake n teriyaki bao for starters . Both were good but the bao is super pillowy soft Dont miss their ramens in dining. I tried their spicy chicken ramen, which is comfort for this weather. Totally worth the visit

Fatty Bao literally made me fatty . It was an amazing evening at this pan asian fusion bar + restaurant. The ambiance was relaxing with mild music and got lucky to get window side table as we were the first customers in the evening. Started with the Spicy Salmon Cream Cheese Sushi, it was delicious and topped with Salmon Roe. For starters we had Three Cup Chicken, it was my favourite out of all . Sichuan chilli oil chicken dumplings were exceptionally good and they served with three dips which took us by surprise. Spicy red chicken Ramen was doing justice to its name, yeah it was spicy ️ and I love spicy food. The Black pepper and Shiitake Udon Noodles was also spicy, the noodle strands was flat and chewy which I liked by the way but there were lot veggies which personally I don’t like . And finally the Cranberry Zing (Mocktail) definitely had a zing in it cause I sipped even the last drop of it. The service was attentive and recommended what’s good and warned us about the serving size which shows how much they clearly value the customer experience. Bao is the popular or chef’s choice but we didn’t get this time but definitely worth it to visit again Fatty Bao for a bao. ✌️

Undoubtedly the best ramen in town! Though the name Fatty Bao might lead you to focus just on the baos, don’t make that mistake—their ramen bowls are out of the world! The Pork Belly Ramen Bowl is my personal favorite—rich, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. I’ve also tried the Mushroom Ramen Bowl when dining with vegetarian friends, and it’s equally delicious. The broth is deeply comforting and packed with flavor. The decor adds to the charm, making you feel like you’ve stepped into a cozy ramen shop somewhere in Japan—super cute and inviting! The baos are tasty too, though slightly on the pricier side. The cheesecake we tried didn’t quite meet our expectations, but the overall experience was still excellent. Special mention to the staff—the service is warm and attentive, and they take the time to explain each dish and answer any questions.

The Fatty Bao is a great spot for a quiet and satisfying dinner, with a stylish and comfortable ambience that sets the tone for a relaxed evening. It’s my go-to place, and I always start with their signature Shrimp Tempura and Fried Eggplant Bao—both absolutely delicious and consistently well-made. The ramen here is also worth trying, rich in flavor and generously portioned. Their menu has a good mix of Asian-inspired dishes, perfect for sharing or enjoying solo. The service is prompt and courteous, and the pleasant interiors make it a great place to unwind over a good meal.

The Fatty Bao evokes feelings of indulgent, hearty Asian food and wow it delivered in spades! We over ordered as per yuzh, with Spicy salmon cream cheese sushi, Teriyaki chicken bao which was good not great, and a sampling of some really light, delicate dumplings: Water chestnut-edamame-truffle oil and Prawn-garlic chive. The fun coloured dough added to the pizzaz of it all. For the mains, we jumped collectively at the idea of Asparagus and bacon fried rice paired with a well-balanced Slow cooked lamb massaman curry. No complaints at all. While an average Japanese cheesecake was dessert, our hearts were full and happy as we left! *This review is from a visit in 2022.
