One of the best museums I’ve visited in India. Weirdly I had to pay for all the floors separately and I was recommended 2 hours for the entire place. But with my pace where I wanted to read everything, it took about 3-4 hours and I didn’t even have the capacity for one of the floors. But I loved what I saw and read and experienced.

As an architect, the whole experience was good. It's a must visit place for art fanatics. You are treated every affably and can get a mindful insight of the whole building. No art show or play is fixed around the year, it changes from month to month. The building and it's surrounding is maintained very neat and clean. It's a architectural marvel. The interiors are Human centric and the whole building is aur conditioned. You need to buy tickets for particular events, sometimes there are free. Overall, the overall ambience is really good and soothing.

A Must-Visit Art Experience in Bengaluru! MAP (Museum of Art & Photography) is an absolute gem in the heart of Bengaluru! I was blown away by the sheer variety of art on display, from ancient artifacts to contemporary masterpieces. With over 60,000 pieces, there's truly something for everyone to enjoy. What really stood out to me was the museum's commitment to accessibility. It's clear they've put a lot of thought into making the space inclusive for all visitors, which is incredibly important. Huge props for that! The collections are diverse and fascinating, covering Living Traditions, Modern & Contemporary Art, Photography, Popular Culture, Pre-Modern Art, and Textiles, Craft & Design. You could easily spend hours exploring. Plus, the on-site cafe, shop, and rooftop restaurant make it a perfect destination for a full day out. ☕ ️ ️ And the best part? Free entry! It's a fantastic opportunity to experience world-class art without breaking the bank. If you're visiting Bengaluru, MAP is a must-see! Highly recommend it! ✨ Wheelchair Accessible ♿✅ Braille Friendly ‍ ✅ Accessible Toilet ♿✅ Accessible Elevators ♿✅ Food Available ♿✅

Kids had a nice time , really good displays. ticket ranging from 50 to 150 for various displays. Has a non ac restaurant at terrace, and a Cafe in basement. food was over priced. the terrace restaurant gives a great view of ub city. the staircase between floors was the most flocked space for pics, because of the beautiful shades of colors. Has clean washrooms. Has a single large lift. Has no parking, so you need to park in the lane next to it, near the kingfisher tower, very limited spots. Tuesdays are free. We spent close to 3 hours there. Kaleidoscope display and digital display were great.

MAP (Museum of Art & Photography) is an absolute gem in the heart of Bengaluru! The sheer variety of art on display, from ancient artifacts to contemporary masterpieces. The museum offers a beautifully curated collection of contemporary art, photography, and historical pieces that really highlight the rich culture and creativity of India. There are 4 floors in the building and basement floor where locker for bags (its free) you can carry cameras with you.I enjoyed the interactive digital archive the most tho! It’s trippy! you can pick which exhibit you want to see. it has free entry on tuesdays and only after 2 PM..do carry your water bottle you can refill the same inside. It will take you 2-3 hrs to complete all the floors..They have washrooms + all the signage everywhere (from the lifts to the exhibits) had braille!..If you're an art enthusiast or just looking for a cultural outing, MAP is definitely worth a visit.
