Comfortable Stay, But Deeply Disappointing Dining Experience The Ritz-Carlton hotel itself is very comfortable. I had no issues with the stay — the rooms and amenities met expectations. However, I made the mistake of booking a package that included two meals a day (breakfast and dinner), and this turned out to be a major regret. Dinner is served at The Market, the hotel's so-called continental restaurant, and both the food and service were truly disappointing. The atmosphere is chaotic — dim lighting combined with loud conversations made it hard to relax. The food, even by the standards of Indian-style continental cuisine, was objectively bad. I highly recommend not including the lunch or dinner package in your booking. Breakfast was decent, but dinner was a daily struggle. Over the course of three nights, my companion and I left more than half of our food uneaten. I wonder if the staff ever paused to consider what that might mean. This restaurant simply does not live up to the global standards of the Ritz-Carlton brand. It became something I dreaded each evening, and I’m honestly relieved that I no longer have to eat dinner here.

Absolutely beautiful property with amazing flower arrangements and artwork throughout the property. Service is so friendly and top notch. I wish I could remember and mention everyone's name. From the staff receiving you as you arrive in the car to our housekeeper Somanath, who was so attentive and always making sure we had what we needed. The breakfast spread and quality was amazing and the service was impeccable from servers to chefs. Services at the Spa and the Salon were 5-stars. So was high-tea in the lobby, rooftop bar and the club lounge.

Lovely atmosphere & brilliant staff. Thank you Swati & Dwiti. What a team… you really took care of us. We had such a fab time, despite the rain. Love the Indian whiskies and gins. Look forward to the next trip. Great vibe. No wonder it is so popular.

A beautiful place nestled amidst the city chaos. Beautiful entrance with good ambience. Widespread halls make way to great business events and celebrations. The indoor and outdoor dining areas are good and sufficient to handle 400-500 people in a buffet. However, when it rains, the outdoor dining area couldn’t be used and might create hiccup !! Otherwise the place is good.

The pleasant stay in the heart of the city with good food! The facilities in the room are cozy. Got a chance to enjoy the rooftop while it rained and the service still continued with the staff drenched in rain. Staff and their services were amazing throughout the stay.

Wonderful staff from the minute you engage and you can’t fault them! We had breakfast everyday, with a fabulous selection and amazing service. The only downside is on a weekend it becomes over crowded and they struggle. We were diverted to the Exec lounge for breakfast on a Sunday. It’s quiet but still busy. Selection is not as abundant but still plenty to choose from. We dined at the Riwaz restaurant one evening and the food was fabulous. Plenty of choice for all dietary requirements, local live music was being played (subtly in the background and not too over bearing) but a bit pricey - highly recommended!
