Zostel Bangalore presents a mixed impression. The location is undeniably convenient, nestled within a popular area. The hostel itself appears structurally sound and offers what one might expect from the brand—a focus on a social, budget-friendly atmosphere. It’s clear that a core aim is to cultivate a community feel, which could be a draw for some.
However, the quality of the service seems to be the most significant area needing attention. Numerous accounts suggest a lack of consistent professionalism> among the security personnel and at times, front desk staff. This deficiency impacts the overall guest experience, diminishing any potential positives. A successful hostel hinges on feeling safe and welcome; improvements in staff training are vital to upholding this principle and fostering a more positive hospitality.

Not a Place That Understands Hospitality
I rarely leave reviews, but this experience left me no choice. I had high hopes while booking this hotel, expecting a decent stay and respectful treatment — but unfortunately, what I experienced was the complete opposite. The overall atmosphere was cold, uncomfortable, and lacking the most basic sense of hospitality. The staff, especially those at the entrance and security, behaved in a way that made me feel like I was doing something wrong just by being there. Their tone was not only impolite but also passive-aggressive, as if they had a problem with guests who didn’t fit their “local” expectations. It was disappointing, even a little shocking, to witness this kind of attitude in a hotel located in Bangalore — a city that welcomes people from all parts of the country and the world. The purpose of any hotel is to make people feel at home, regardless of where they’re from or what language they speak, and this place failed completely in that regard. I wasn’t expecting luxury — just decency, kindness, and professionalism. Sadly, none of those were present. I checked out not just with bags, but with a lingering sense of discomfort. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who expects even the bare minimum of respect and courtesy from hotel staff. There are many better places to stay — don’t waste your time or energy here.

One of the Most Unpleasant Hotel Experiences I’ve Had
This was honestly one of the worst and most uncomfortable hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and I travel frequently. From the moment I stepped in, there was a strange lack of warmth or hospitality from the staff, especially the security. Instead of being welcoming or helpful, their tone was cold, dismissive, and frankly, rude. It felt as if they had no interest in making guests feel comfortable — and instead, acted as though they were doing us a favor by letting us stay. In a city like Bangalore, which is known for its diversity and openness, I never expected to be treated like I didn’t belong just because I wasn’t local. A hotel should be a space where people from different backgrounds, cities, and even countries feel safe and respected — but this place had the opposite energy. Their attitude made the stay incredibly tense, and at no point did I feel like a valued guest. Basic hospitality, respect, and professional behavior were completely missing. I usually don’t leave reviews, especially negative ones, but this experience was bad enough to warn others. If you are someone who expects polite service, professionalism, and even a minimum level of courtesy, I strongly suggest staying away from this hotel. Absolutely not worth the money, time, or mental stress.
Noob 4 u (☆ 1/5)

The hotel itself is actually quite nice — clean rooms, good amenities, and the staff at the front desk were polite and helpful. The food was also decent and location-wise it’s pretty convenient.
However, the security is a serious issue. They were rude and unprofessional throughout our stay. What made things worse was that they kept insisting we speak in Kannada, even though we clearly told them we didn’t understand it. It felt unnecessary and uncomfortable.
It’s a shame because everything else was good, but the behavior of the security staff completely ruined the experience. Management really needs to take this seriously. Until then, I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you value respectful treatment.
Bula Sardar (☆ 1/5)

Extremely Unprofessional and Unwelcoming
This was by far one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had. The staff, especially the security, were shockingly rude and unprofessional. Instead of treating guests with basic courtesy, they created an uncomfortable and unwelcoming environment.
As someone visiting from outside the city, I expected at least respectful treatment — but was instead made to feel like I didn’t belong. This is not how hospitality should work, especially in a city like Bangalore that sees people from all over the country and beyond.
I do not recommend this place to anyone who values respectful service and a comfortable stay. Definitely not worth the experience. One star is generous.

Security Guard Was the Worst Part of the Stay – Completely Unprofessional
I usually don’t write reviews targeting a single person, but the security guard at this Zostel truly ruined the entire experience for me.
From the moment I arrived, his behavior was off. He was rude, dismissive, and acted like guests were a burden. Instead of offering help or at least basic courtesy, he spoke in an aggressive, condescending tone and clearly had no idea how to interact with travelers. There was no sense of safety or hospitality – just cold stares, harsh words, and constant passive-aggressive behavior.
At night, instead of actually paying attention to security, he was busy scrolling on his phone or pacing around like he was doing a patrol in a war zone. One time I politely asked a question, and he snapped back with a sarcastic and unnecessary comment, like he was doing me a favor just by standing there.
Zostel should seriously reconsider who they put at the front gate — this guy is the exact opposite of what a traveler-friendly, safe, welcoming hostel needs. First impressions matter, and this guard made sure mine was absolutely awful.
Unfit for the role and a complete buzzkill.
Dhruvi Khandelwal (☆ 1/5)

I don’t even know where to begin — this was hands down the WORST hotel stay I’ve ever had. The service was beyond terrible. The staff was rude, unresponsive, and seemed like they couldn’t care less about the guests. Asked for basic things like clean towels — had to wait HOURS, and still got nothing. Housekeeping? Nonexistent. Room smelled musty, like it hadn’t been cleaned properly in ages.
The front desk acted like we were a burden for even asking questions. They had zero hospitality, zero professionalism, and definitely zero interest in solving any problems. Don’t even get me started on the food — stale, cold, and absolutely inedible.
This place shouldn’t even be allowed to operate. A complete disaster from check-in to check-out. If you’re thinking of staying here — DON’T. Spend your money somewhere that actually respects its customers.
Zeeshan Ahmed (☆ 1/5)

This was by far the most uncomfortable hotel experience I’ve ever had. The security staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. Not only was their behavior intimidating, but they actually tried to force us to speak Kannada, their local language. When we politely spoke in English or Hindi, they got aggressive and dismissive, acting like we were doing something wrong.
It’s shocking that a hotel catering to guests from different regions and countries would tolerate such behavior. Security is supposed to make guests feel safe, not uncomfortable or pressured to speak a specific language. The whole situation felt hostile and unwelcoming.
If you’re not from the area or don’t speak Kannada, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. Terrible service, even worse attitude. Never again.

The Hosteller Bangalore, Indiranagar offers a comfortable and accessible stay in a prime location. The central location makes exploring the city a breeze, being close to various shops and restaurants. The property focuses on providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for both short-term visitors and those seeking a longer stay. Staff interaction is a strong point, with individuals dedicated to ensuring guest satisfaction and offering assistance with local inquiries. The focus on creating a positive and supportive communal space makes it a great hub for meeting people and sharing experiences. Located at an amazing location hostellar Indiranagar is a sweet stay! I stayed here for 30 days and loved every inch of it. The staff is super friendly, helpful and very prompt on all requests. I had subscribed for a monthly plan for dinner and I won’t be exaggerating each day after my meal was done the chef would very politely come and ask how the meal was. When I fell sick due to changing weather he made sure I found comfort in the food. For anything I would have to just ask and the team made sure it was done be it hot water or any room requests all were done without any follow ups. Kuldeep, Aashish, Shruti and Wazir were always available for any requests and were super flexible. Will surely come back for a stay. The only room of improvement was the site mentions laundry however there is no laundry at the property and you have to seek vendors outside. Rest this was an amazing stay

As a solo traveler, I recently stayed here during my workation in April 2025 and overall, it was an okays experience. ||Here’s a breakdown of the various aspects of my stay:||Staff: 3/5|* The staff were neither very friendly nor welcoming! |* Although, Mr. Kuldeep (Front Desk Manager) was always ready to offer help. Really made an effort to make guests feel at home, and I appreciate the warm and gentle behaviour. |* Ms. Shruti (Front Desk) is very rude and never handles guests requests properly. She is unfriendly while talking to guests, always. |* No one cares if you raise any request for room, they are only up for closing it so that it does not reach higher management.|* The community manager Annie is worst, she is spreading really bad vibes, and always fighting for something or the other. She and her groupism does not let people live peacefully in the common area. Although she has been transferred now, real peace to life.|* A lot of politics are going on here.||Housekeeping: 4/5|* They do pretty well but only if they have orders.|* Mr. Ritesh is always helpful.||Cafe: 1/5|The built-in-cafe is part of common area, but I never ordered from here due to really worst food and beverages. They dont know how to make tea and give food with refined flour.||Cleanliness: 3/5|* The common areas were generally well-maintained.|* The dorm rooms, and restrooms, were mostly okay.|* When you raise room servicing requests through GLU app, the front desk team (mostly Shruti) always closes it without sending someone to offer help to the room. I had to raise same request like 3 times and go to front desk and plead for servicing, else they won’t listen. Pathetic staff if they can’t help with guest even when the requests are logged into system and app.||Facilities: 3/5|* The hostel has a great common area, with few games and books. |* There’s also free Wi-Fi, which never works properly. There wifi is down since a month when i am here. As soon as it rains, wifi goes for a toss. Even during other times. I could never take my important office calls here.||Atmosphere: 2/5|* The absence of a good Community Manager is a dealbreaker. The free volunteers never do anything great. Guests play games/enjoy by themselves, but there is no one to organise decent activities within the hostel regularly. Annie created really bad atmosphere here, always fighting and abusing people. She spreader groupism here.|* Post 10 pm are silent hours, hence they don’t allow to play/talk loudly even in common area, which is understandable.||Value for Money: 2/5|* The price are high, and considering the basic amenities offered, I felt I did not get value for my money.||Sleep Quality: 3/5|* The dorm rooms are spacious.|* The beds were reasonably small and mattress is also not very comfortable.||Security – 4/5|* The hostel felt secure. There is a guard who shouts at people like mad for parking vehicles.|* The lockers are provided under each bed for personal items, without locks (extra chargeable).||Location: 5/5|* Close to 80 feet road Indiranagar.|* Getting around the central Bangalore is super easy.|* Spacious parking space|* Walkable from Indiranagar main points, near to metro station as well.||Overall Rating: 1/5

I’ve stayed at both The Hosteller Indiranagar and The Hosteller Brigade Road many times, and I find the Brigade Road property better overall.
• The rooms in Indiranagar are quite small compared to the more spacious ones at Brigade Road.
• This time, I was allotted a 4-bed dorm at Indiranagar, but the room was very messy.
• Other guests had left their bags and personal items all over the sleeping area, making the space uncomfortable and disorganized.
• There’s a lack of basic discipline, and management needs to step up in maintaining cleanliness and order in shared spaces.
• Prices have also gone up, and it no longer feels like good value for money.
• On the positive side, the air conditioning worked well, and the staff behavior was polite and helpful.
Overall, I expect better management and room standards considering the price.

Stayed here for 2N/3D, location is great, everything is accessible from walking distance. I had booked for Superior Room with Balcony and amenities were good. Good LED TV, hot water facilities etc.
Check In was smooth, got room as early as 1 PM on 2 PM checkin time. Staff were sweet. WiFi is a drawback, connectivity isn’t as stable and causes frequent disruption.
Overall good stay, would love to be back again whenever in Bengaluru.
Chintan Mistry (☆ 5/5)

Loved my stay here! The Super Deluxe Double Room was comfy, clean, and came with a cute little balcony—perfect for some fresh air and chill vibes.
Big shoutout to Sruthi at the front desk! She’s a total star—super cheerful and made my stay extension a breeze. Logistics? Handled. Good vibes? Delivered.
If you’re in Bangalore and want a cool, cozy place with awesome people—this is it.

Great Stay in the Heart of Bangalore!
I had a wonderful experience staying at The Hosteller, Indira Nagar. The location is unbeatable—close to cafes, pubs, and metro access, yet peaceful enough for a relaxing stay. The rooms and common areas were clean, vibrant, and well-maintained. The staff was super friendly and helpful, always around to assist with local recommendations.
Loved the vibe of the place—great for solo travelers and digital nomads. The work-friendly common spaces were a big plus! Would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a budget-friendly yet comfortable stay in Bangalore.
Only Red flag is Very Poor Wi-fi and Mobile network.
Anushka Garg (☆ 5/5)

A hostel is NOT a hotel. Most hostels don’t provide such things (although some may sell them), so, When It comes to stay outside your own sweet home, the 1st things we would want is a clean restroom!! And this Myroomie hostel nailed it. It was super clean and I felt very comfortable with the beds and bunkers as well as the location. It has primary access to all your needs.
Overall it was a pleasant and peaceful stay. The staff and the owner were very friendly and courteous. Thank you for a wonderful stay in MYROOMIE!!!!
There are many hostels you will get in Bangalore , it will be a PG. But it depends where you wanted to stay. If you are coming to Bangalore for study then prefer to stay in hostel for a year and then decide whether you wanted to shift and take a separate room or not. And if you are coming here for job purpose, then better take a room and stay alone or along with your friends so that at the end of the day you need some good people to spend time with and moreover there is a things called privacy, which you won’t get in PG.

Pleasant and relaxed stay 😀 Met nice people and had fun in Bangalore.
For any question you might have feel free to speak to Abhik (hopefully I spelled that right) at the reception, he is eager to help and recommend places or activities in the city.
Overall a chilled space in the center of Bangalore, would recommend!

We stayed in both Locul central and Uptown. Locul central is definitely a better location for someone who has a shorter stay in the city and wants to see more. But Uptown’s location was still pretty good. We stayed in a private room here as I was ill and the owner was so kind to me and kept checking up on me. He also sat down with us and helped planned our day which was really kind of him to do. The communal areas here were big and kitchen was great too. Would definitely recommend booking this!

It’s a nice place to stay. The only issue I had was with the dust near my bunk bed. It seemed like that area had not been dusted in months, and since I have dust allergy, I spent an entire night sneezing.
Other than that everything else is good. Good comfy beds, decent washrooms. It’s a clean, safe space to chill, and even make some new friends.

This place is super perfect for people who is okay to stay in a dormitory. The room is clean and neat. The service they offer is also fabulous. The building is old.. but they are trying to maintain it as good as possible . Dormitory of room containing 6 bed and 8 beds are there. There is a chilling area present at thr ground floor. The rate starts from 450 rs for dormitory for one night. Rooms are also available.
The only concern that i had was about the locker key that they provided during my stay.. this key can be used to unlock all the lockers.
cyril p somy (☆ 4/5)

The stay was good. But They haven’t mentioned that parking is not available and pointed out that they haven’t listed parking as one of the amenities. However, in a city like Bengaluru, details such as the availability of parking should be clearly mentioned, especially for first-time travelers to the city. It’s a basic yet important piece of information. When I raised this concern, the person in charge simply said that I could pay and park in the next building, which felt quite inconvenient and unexpected.
Yash Hansalia (☆ 2/5)

Everything was very good- room, staff, food and service but only thing i faced was a theft.
all the lockers have same key to open, they have a very secure lock pass to open the door that is only via through their app but the lockers aren’t safe at all, i had kept my wallet inside a bag in my locker, i never took the bag out, i stayed there for 7 nights, after few hours of checking out when i checked my bag to get my wallet it was empty. please keep your belongings with yourself to be safe

I recently stayed at goSTOPS Bengaluru, Gandhi Nagar, and it was a great experience. For the price, it’s one of the best hostels in Bengaluru. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The common areas had a vibrant atmosphere, perfect for meeting fellow travelers.
The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any queries. The location is another big advantage — it’s close to major attractions and well-connected to public transport. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and the hostel offered plenty of amenities for the price.

goSTOPS Bengaluru Majestic offers a vibrant, budget-friendly stay with a prime location near transport hubs. Guests appreciate the clean rooms and helpful staff. Common areas foster a social atmosphere. Some mention minor cleanliness issues in bathrooms. Overall a good value for money.
And I would like to mention some security issues with the locker in mixed bed rooms it’s gets open with other keys
Shantanu Nag (☆ 5/5)

This is hands down one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The place is full of ridiculous rules and overhyped claims that are completely baseless. Having to unlock the door through an app is just frustrating and totally impractical. The security is laughable.
You’re not allowed to bring food into your own room, and if you ask for a plate, they refuse and instead charge extra—seriously? The room itself is in terrible condition. No TV, no cupboard, a bed that feels like it’s on the floor, and electrical switches that make no sense—turn on the fan and the main light comes on too? Absolutely absurd.
For a place charging ₹3000, this is a joke. I wouldn’t stay here again even if it was free, and I’ll make sure everyone I know avoids this place too. This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star, but since I can’t give 0, 1 it is.

I’m a final year student at Christ central campus and have been staying at Serenity Girls hostels for the last 3 years now. The rooms are pretty nice especially the apartments style ones, in which I stayed although they are a little overpriced but worth the facilities and security they provide. In the last 3 years my warden Kavita, has shown extreme sincerity towards any inconvenience faced by any student and has taken actions to fix them. I did liked there gym, well equipped. And the food has been decent most of the time. Overall it has been a pretty smooth and pleasant stay at serenity hostels.

My stay at Serenity Hostel in Bangalore has been one of the most comforting and secure experiences I’ve had. This isn’t just a place to live — it genuinely feels like home.
The food is a standout here — freshly prepared with a changing menu that keeps it interesting and wholesome. It’s simple, nutritious, and reminds you of a home-cooked meal. There’s never a feeling of eating “hostel food” — it’s made with care and it shows.
What truly sets Serenity apart is the warmth and sense of community. Festivals like Pongal, Holi, Eid, and Christmas are celebrated with full spirit — complete with decorations, traditional food, and a togetherness that makes you feel included and cared for.
A moment that really touched me was when I tested positive for COVID. The hostel team didn’t treat me like just another resident — they treated me like family. They made sure I had hot food, timely medicines, and regular sanitization, all while checking in on me constantly. Their care and support during that difficult time is something I’ll never forget.
Clean, safe, and full of warmth — Serenity Hostel truly lives up to its name. If you’re looking for a peaceful, respectful, and genuinely caring environment in Bangalore, this is the place to be.

I had a great experience staying at Zostel. It was my first time stay at any hostel. The rooms were exactly like the photos on the site—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The bathroom was spotless, which was a big plus. The staff was extremely polite and helpful, always ready to assist with anything. The location was excellent, with plenty of good restaurants and breakfast places just a short walk away. Overall, it was a really good stay, and I’d definitely recommend it to others!

I had initially booked the female dorm, but the conditions were quite poor. The bathrooms were unclean, and I had to shift once because I was told the dorm was under maintenance. Even after moving to the new dorm, the washroom became clogged the very next day. Though I had planned a 5-day stay, I checked out early due to a change in plans. While the morning manager assured me of a refund, I haven’t received any. I understand that Zostel typically has a no-refund policy, but it was disappointing to have the manager promise a refund only for the backend team to deny it later.
Sanjana Joshi (☆ 1/5)

My stay here was great and the management was top notch. And security, haven’t felt so safe anywhere. Basically I had liberty to leave my stuff lying around and no fear of it getting stolen and the best part was the game room. You have to try the Foosball and jenga blocks.
Aryan Nagar (☆ 5/5)

Business vibe, because Bangalore, so I cannot complain.
Because of the location of the Zostel beside the sewage filled stormwater drain – there are a lot of mosquitos even after the Zostel people provided mosquito repellant.
But the biggest issue I have is with mold (possibly very injurious to health) in the bathroom! This picture is from the bathroom in room First Crush on first floor.
Monis Anwar (☆ 2/5)

The staff is nice and friendly but also a bit unprofessional. I kept some expensive chocolates in the hostel fridge and they were not there the next day. I asked the staff multiple times to check the camera video footage to let me know wh took it but they never checked. Seems very unprofessional to me
Deepanshu Vasal (☆ 2/5)

I had an amazing stay at Zostel, my first hostel experience. The rooms matched the website photos perfectly—clean, cozy, and well-kept
Akash RC (☆ 5/5)

Filthy washrooms, uncleaned rooms, smelly blankets, sticky floors, foul smell after mopping the floor, No pantry, No ironing board, no water in the toilet these are the main attraction of this property. This zostel is can be never compared with Indra Nagar Zostal. Zostel Indira Nagar is extremely well maintained one.

Highly Recommended Budget Stay!
My friend and I visited Bangalore for the weekend and needed a budget-friendly place to freshen up and store our luggage, as we planned to spend most of our time exploring the city. This place turned out to be perfect!
It’s a quaint little space converted into a hostel-style stay. We booked a four-sharing room, which had two cozy bunk beds (two other guests were already in the room). The rooms and amenities were clean and well-maintained.
Although the check-in time was 12 PM, we arrived in Bangalore around 5:45 AM. The receptionist was kind enough to allow us an early check-in without any extra charge, which was a huge plus! Each bunk had a mini fan mounted above, but we didn’t need it much as the weather was cool. However, if you’re visiting in summer, I’d recommend booking an AC room.
We also met the owner, Mr. Nikhil, who was friendly and accommodating. He mentioned that they have other similar stays in Bangalore, including guest houses and apartments for short visits.
Overall, this place is budget-friendly, safe, clean, and has a welcoming atmosphere. 10/10 highly recommended!

1. Staff is not sensitized (even after living for 5 + 3 = 8 days that guy Ranjeet was knocking repeatedly after 10:30 to vacate the premises stating guest aagaya, bhai even five star hotels give you that 1 hr extension easily)
2. Bathrooms are old and showers don’t work properly only bucket based bathing solution (asked Ranjeet but didn’t got any resolution)
3. Very less water from taps for face wash or brushing looks like they are clogged for years
4. Place can be noisy depends on the people who are hanging out in the common area I observed people not respecting the time limit and caretaker didn’t do anything about it. (called Ranjeet at the night for which he didn’t picked up the call)
PS: I stayed in the separate room still didn’t found it very comforting or cozy as mentioned, giving 2 star for the location.

Me and my 6 friends had a nice stay here!
We stayed for one night.
Unfortunately all of us were split. We were hoping we could stay together in one or two units, but we were asked to stay separately maybe because it was fully booked and others came before us. We didn’t like this 🙁
Also, the beds in the ground floor upper level were vibrating all the time. We assume it is because of bad grounding. But one of my friends couldn’t sleep and he did complain but the person who attended didn’t really care.
Overall for the price they charge its gooooood.
Sujith Subramanyam (☆ 4/5)

My first time staying at a hostel-like accommodation, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations!
The rooms were clean and well-furnished with comfy beds, cozy comforters, and even towels provided. They also had an RO purifier, which was a great perk.
I loved the fact that they offered food and laundry services, making life so much easier. And the hangout areas were perfect for socializing and relaxing.
One tip I’d give is to opt for rooms with attached bathrooms for added convenience.
Overall, I had a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Stayed for one night. Everything was clean, beds are comfortable and had reading lights which were super helpful. Maximum WiFi down speed I got was 100Mbps, good enough. Staff was polite. Attached bathroom didn’t have shower head, would like to recommend owner to install. A cupboard was provided with ample space but had to pay separately for a lock. Didn’t get chance to use other amenities. Overall good experience. Will visit again.

One of the best hostels/backpackers in Bengaluru. The location is in a quiet and beautiful locality In Koramangala with the nightlife district shops and restaurants at just walking distance.
Very clean and beautiful place to stay, customer service is good and the staff is very helpful. Dash, the manager, is a fantastic person. He’ll go above and beyond to help you out with anything.
The beds, rooms and the place in general is very clean and house keeping done everyday. Meals are available that taste like home cooked food. Common areas can be used for work from home people and kitchen is available for the guests to cook. Kitchen is clean!! Terrace is available for some quiet time by yourself. I stayed here for a month and would continue living here if my workplace was close by. Overall, a very great experience.
Mehul Bardolia (☆ 5/5)

I stayed here in a private room for 10 days and the experience was blissful. It felt like second home.
The private room has all the amenities that you might need to stay peacefully.
As promised by the management, cleaning of the room happens everyday. The lady that did the cleaning during my stay was very polite and cleaned the room properly leaving no corners.
Design of the private rooms is beautiful. I had a fun time working from there. The WiFi speed is pretty much enough for any kind of work.
The common space is also lively. The best thing about the common space is that it also has a small bookshelf with few but popular books.
The common area also hosts beautiful sitting place where you can comfortably work.
A shared kitchen is provided for the guests to cook with almost all the amenities required. It has a microwave, a gas stove, common condiments and spices, electric kettle and generally used cooking utensils.
The place itself is situated in a very good location. It is part of a highly sophisticated, green and popular area, Koramangala.
There is a small park in front of the place called Peace Park.
Shared washing machine is provided in premises but it is chargeable. Food is also prepared by staff but is again chargeable.
Staff is very helping and polite. They listen to every query and try to get it fixed in their best possible ways. I had a slightly broken shower which they got fixed immediately.
It is safe for every kind of guests. During my stay I have seen single guys, girls, couples and even families enjoying their stay.
Overall, a very good experience. This will be my go to place anytime I visit Bangalore. But let me tell you one thing that this place is almost booked. So, do your bookings well in advance.

The Little Blue Window Hostel offers a genuinely pleasant stay, consistently praised for its friendly atmosphere and welcoming environment. It appears to be a fantastic choice for those seeking a comfortable and laid-back place to unwind after a long day exploring Bangalore. The owner, Roshan, is frequently mentioned as being particularly helpful and knowledgeable about the local area, providing a personal touch that enhances the overall experience.
From what’s been shared, it provides a relaxing common area, facilitating opportunities for connection and rest. The layout is well-regarded for its ease and appeal. It presents itself as a highly recommendable location for travelers desiring a welcoming base from which to experience the city’s charm.

Location, cleanliness and staff behaviour is very good. Things that can be improved are- Fan location, in summers the fans don’t provide adequate air and can be uncomfortable considering there’s no air conditioning. Pillows are in terrible condition and should be replaced every few months It looks like the current set has not been replaced since ages. Maybe use double pillow covers to avoid the actual pillows from getting this dirty.

The stay was short but memorable from peaceful mornings to vibrant evenings, every moment was worth it. Thanks to the staff and owner both were kind. Loved your stay
shaiju mathew (☆ 5/5)

I have lost 5-6 lakhs because of a person who checked into the same room. He stole my laptop, wallet, phone when I was sleeping in the morning around 6AM. The hostel doesn’t have security cameras. The owner/receptionist will not check the id proof nor take responsibility for the theft. Never ever go to this hostel. There are cases where the hostel staff recorded women while taking bath in the hostel. When an aadhar card has 4 different languages, any leyman will understand it is morphed. People do weed in the hostel
Eswar Abhi (☆ 1/5)

I’ve stayed in three different Airbnbs from this host in BTM Layout, and all were great. Since it’s an Airbnb, there’s no on-site staff, but Rohan is always available online and very helpful.
The rooms are nice, well-located near BTM’s main area, and budget-friendly. Overall, a great stay I’d love to come back!

A big shoutout to Roshan, the owner, who was incredibly friendly and accommodating. He made sure I had everything I needed and gave great tips about local spots to explore. If you’re looking for a comfortable, friendly place to stay in Bangalore, I highly recommend this hostel!

Transit Dorms provides a budget-friendly accommodation option, clearly geared towards travelers seeking a simple and affordable stay. The rooms are generally well-maintained, offering a decent level of cleanliness and providing a place to relax between activities. Basic amenities are present and contribute to a functional, no-frills environment.
A definite advantage is the presence of locker facilities which enhances the overall feeling of security. The staff seem committed to creating a welcoming atmosphere, contributing to a pleasant experience. This place appeals to those seeking a place to rest without expecting luxurious features.
Customer Reviews
If you’re booking this place thinking it’s close to the airport, be warned—it’s not. The name might give that impression, but in reality, it takes almost two hours to get there. So, if proximity to the airport is your priority, this might not be the best choice.
That said, as a budget-friendly, shared accommodation, it does the job. It’s decent for the price, but don’t expect hotel-like facilities. It’s a hostel, and it functions like one—basic amenities, shared spaces, and a no-frills stay.

Its location was convenient, close to key amenities and transport links, making it ideal for travelers. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with any needs. Overall, a fantastic experience!

: Nothing.
: The washroom, the mugs and the bucket are soo bad. I felt disgusted to even touch it..
Booking.com (☆ 0/5)

I booked a room for today. I’ve asked for early check in. No one is picking up the call. No one is in reception to take care gusts.
Worst experience. I’ve lost my cash and in morning I’ve gone through many hotels to get a room.
Better to get a room near madiwala, so many hotels nearby. Don’t trust these guys. Won’t pick up calls.. won’t able to cancel the booking.. money went for a toss.
Rama Yadav (☆ 1/5)

Considering its a dormitory I dont want to complain about the lack of safety I felt here, the location is good as its full of young people and college students, lots of cafes, restaurants and general stores that are open till late night, the rooms were nice and clean, there was a locker facility available, hot water and a clean washroom inside the room, overall it was a good experience
Mohaddasa Ajani (☆ 4/5)

The manager Ali is a cool guy. The rooms are kept clean and overall a great place to stay for short term as well as for monthly basis. You wont be able to cook food here. You will have to eat from outside or buy from outside.
