Me and my group went to Hampi with Muddie Trails. Overall, the trip was good, fellow travellers were friendly and the Coordinator Likhith was like one among us. It had some setbacks like restaurant selection and back to back destinations which felt rushed and tiring to us. Improvement should be strictly made on food and restaurant selection. Coorg Nelji Hills Trek
Just got back from an unforgettable weekend trek with PTU, and I honestly can’t stop thinking about it! ⛰️
We kicked things off on a Friday night with some fun icebreaker sessions that instantly set the vibe right. Music, laughs, and the excitement of the journey ahead kept the energy high all night as we made our way to Coorg, reaching around 5 AM.
After a quick power nap, we got ready and hopped onto open jeeps for our adventure to Nelji Hills. The trek itself was a mix of thrill and nature’s raw beauty—lush greenery, misty trails, and yep, a LOT of leeches (adds to the story, right?). But all of that was worth it when we reached the top—the view was absolutely breathtaking! ✨
We spent a good while at the summit soaking in the views and clicking tons of pictures (some of them truly Instagram-worthy ). The descent was just as fun, and after getting back, we all bonded over card games, mafia, and some hilarious verbal games that kept us up till 1 AM.
The next day, before heading back, we visited a beautiful dam and a serene monastery—both adding a peaceful, scenic end to the trip. It rained on and off throughout the weekend, but rather than spoil anything, it added to the whole monsoon-trek vibe. ️
And oh, the return bus ride? Full of dumb charades, dares, laughter, and non-stop fun.
Huge shoutout to PTU for organizing such a well-balanced trip—bit of adventure, lots of nature, and plenty of bonding. If you’re looking for a weekend escape that mixes fun, friendship, and forest trails, this one’s a must-do.

Perfectly planned Gokarna Beach Trek with Plan the Unplanned!
The 2-day itinerary was very well thought out and executed perfectly.
Day 1 involved trailing across five beautiful beaches in order: Belekan Beach, Paradise Beach, Half Moon Beach, Om Beach, and Kudle Beach — finally staying overnight at an unexplored sixth beach. The stay was absolutely wonderful with sea-facing tents, ample leisure time at the beach, a mesmerizing sunset, a cozy bonfire, and a peaceful sunrise experience the next morning.
Day 2 was more relaxed, starting with a visit to Murudeshwar Temple, enjoying authentic temple food, a short scenic walk among the mangrove trees, and ending with a refreshing boating trip through the mangrove forest.
Special thanks to our trek leaders, Madhav and Devam, for their excellent coordination, enthusiasm, and people management. Their combined experience made the trek smooth, enjoyable, and memorable for everyone — from beginners to seasoned trekkers.

The Gokarna Beach Trek with Plan The Unplanned was the perfect weekend getaway! Day 1 began with creative introduction games that broke the ice wonderfully, followed by a group dinner.
Day 2 was packed with adventure – starting at Belakan Beach where trek lead Devam convinced everyone to play beach volleyball (we were hilariously terrible!). We then trekked through steep terrain to Half Moon Beach, where Maddy found us a perfect breezy spot to rest. The trail to Om Beach was absolutely mesmerizing – pristine blue waters against brown rocks and green trees. After lunch at Om Beach, we continued to Kudle Beach where we celebrated with ice cream.
Day 3 offered a more relaxed pace with a visit to the majestic Murudeshwar Temple, delicious authentic temple food, a scenic walk among mangrove trees, and a refreshing boat ride through the mangrove forest.
Trek leads Devam and Maddy were exceptional – patient, enthusiastic, and attentive. Devam’s volleyball enthusiasm and Maddy’s ghost story sessions during nighttime added so much fun! They ensured everyone trekked at their own pace while providing help whenever needed.
The facilities matched what was promised in the itinerary, and the entire experience was well-organized. If you’re considering this trek, don’t hesitate – it’s the ideal mix of physical activity, stunning scenery, cultural experiences, and new friendships. Your Instagram feed and soul will thank you!

I decided to go solo trek with Plan The Unplanned. Turns out it was one of the best decisions I made this year. The team was very friendly and supportive throughout the trek, from the moment I boarded the bus to returning back and beyond. The kudremukh trek is approximately 20 km trek up and down. During this time both the guides ( Shivam and Prajwal) supported, encouraged and motivated us to reach the peak. We had a lot of fun and team bonding moments at the nearby Bella home stay as well. I would Highly recommend to the reader to go with them if you are planning to go somewhere unplanned. We also learnt a lot from them about the places and trekking during our journey.
Summary : Just go ahead with PTU for your vacation and trip. You say the place and the dates ,they have it all planned for you. And the prices are very reasonable as well.

Went on another trek with these guys and it was just as I hoped it would be : excellent, adventurous and friendly group. I have to say PTU is doing really good in teaching and training the trek leads. They know exactly how to keep the crowd engaged and make sure no one is alienated. This is something i feel makes PTU stand out among others. This time I went to Tadiandamol peak and Namdroling Monastery Golden Temle as solo ( again ). And just like last time at kudremukh, I enjoyed the trek and the company. Made really good friends. Played some games , Mafia was one such game. Trek leads Prakash and Bhargava made sure everyone had a great time and we’re with us the while 2 days. With 2 confirmed trek of good memories and adventures, I can say that PTU is very welcoming and friendly for everyone ( especially if your solo or a small group). They really took the name seriously : Plan The Unplanned

It was disappointing, even a little shocking, to witness this kind of attitude in a hotel located in Bangalore — a city that welcomes people from all parts of the country and the world. One of the Most Unpleasant Hotel Experiences I’ve Had
This was honestly one of the worst and most uncomfortable hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and I travel frequently. From the moment I stepped in, there was a strange lack of warmth or hospitality from the staff, especially the security. Instead of being welcoming or helpful, their tone was cold, dismissive, and frankly, rude. It felt as if they had no interest in making guests feel comfortable — and instead, acted as though they were doing us a favor by letting us stay. In a city like Bangalore, which is known for its diversity and openness, I never expected to be treated like I didn’t belong just because I wasn’t local. A hotel should be a space where people from different backgrounds, cities, and even countries feel safe and respected — but this place had the opposite energy. Their attitude made the stay incredibly tense, and at no point did I feel like a valued guest. Basic hospitality, respect, and professional behavior were completely missing. I usually don’t leave reviews, especially negative ones, but this experience was bad enough to warn others. If you are someone who expects polite service, professionalism, and even a minimum level of courtesy, I strongly suggest staying away from this hotel. Absolutely not worth the money, time, or mental stress.

The hotel itself is actually quite nice — clean rooms, good amenities, and the staff at the front desk were polite and helpful. The food was also decent and location-wise it’s pretty convenient.
However, the security is a serious issue. They were rude and unprofessional throughout our stay. What made things worse was that they kept insisting we speak in Kannada, even though we clearly told them we didn’t understand it. It felt unnecessary and uncomfortable.
It’s a shame because everything else was good, but the behavior of the security staff completely ruined the experience. Management really needs to take this seriously. Until then, I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you value respectful treatment.

Extremely Unprofessional and Unwelcoming
This was by far one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had. The staff, especially the security, were shockingly rude and unprofessional. Instead of treating guests with basic courtesy, they created an uncomfortable and unwelcoming environment.
As someone visiting from outside the city, I expected at least respectful treatment — but was instead made to feel like I didn’t belong. This is not how hospitality should work, especially in a city like Bangalore that sees people from all over the country and beyond.
I do not recommend this place to anyone who values respectful service and a comfortable stay. Definitely not worth the experience. One star is generous.

Security Guard Was the Worst Part of the Stay – Completely Unprofessional
I usually don’t write reviews targeting a single person, but the security guard at this Zostel truly ruined the entire experience for me.
From the moment I arrived, his behavior was off. He was rude, dismissive, and acted like guests were a burden. Instead of offering help or at least basic courtesy, he spoke in an aggressive, condescending tone and clearly had no idea how to interact with travelers. There was no sense of safety or hospitality – just cold stares, harsh words, and constant passive-aggressive behavior.
At night, instead of actually paying attention to security, he was busy scrolling on his phone or pacing around like he was doing a patrol in a war zone. One time I politely asked a question, and he snapped back with a sarcastic and unnecessary comment, like he was doing me a favor just by standing there.
Zostel should seriously reconsider who they put at the front gate — this guy is the exact opposite of what a traveler-friendly, safe, welcoming hostel needs. First impressions matter, and this guard made sure mine was absolutely awful.
Unfit for the role and a complete buzzkill.

I don’t even know where to begin — this was hands down the WORST hotel stay I’ve ever had. The service was beyond terrible. The staff was rude, unresponsive, and seemed like they couldn’t care less about the guests. Asked for basic things like clean towels — had to wait HOURS, and still got nothing. Housekeeping? Nonexistent. Room smelled musty, like it hadn’t been cleaned properly in ages.
The front desk acted like we were a burden for even asking questions. They had zero hospitality, zero professionalism, and definitely zero interest in solving any problems. Don’t even get me started on the food — stale, cold, and absolutely inedible.
This place shouldn’t even be allowed to operate. A complete disaster from check-in to check-out. If you’re thinking of staying here — DON’T. Spend your money somewhere that actually respects its customers.

This was by far the most uncomfortable hotel experience I’ve ever had. The security staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. Not only was their behavior intimidating, but they actually tried to force us to speak Kannada, their local language. When we politely spoke in English or Hindi, they got aggressive and dismissive, acting like we were doing something wrong.
It’s shocking that a hotel catering to guests from different regions and countries would tolerate such behavior. Security is supposed to make guests feel safe, not uncomfortable or pressured to speak a specific language. The whole situation felt hostile and unwelcoming.
If you’re not from the area or don’t speak Kannada, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. Terrible service, even worse attitude. Never again.

Nice temple to visit in outskirts of Bangalore. It is small replica of the original Tirupati temple. People who cannot visit tirupati, they can visit here. Very well maintained and neat. Located at an amazing location hostellar Indiranagar is a sweet stay! I stayed here for 30 days and loved every inch of it. The staff is super friendly, helpful and very prompt on all requests. I had subscribed for a monthly plan for dinner and I won’t be exaggerating each day after my meal was done the chef would very politely come and ask how the meal was. When I fell sick due to changing weather he made sure I found comfort in the food. For anything I would have to just ask and the team made sure it was done be it hot water or any room requests all were done without any follow ups. Kuldeep, Aashish, Shruti and Wazir were always available for any requests and were super flexible. Will surely come back for a stay. The only room of improvement was the site mentions laundry however there is no laundry at the property and you have to seek vendors outside. Rest this was an amazing stay

As a solo traveler, I recently stayed here during my workation in April 2025 and overall, it was an okays experience. ||Here’s a breakdown of the various aspects of my stay:||Staff: 3/5|* The staff were neither very friendly nor welcoming! |* Although, Mr. Kuldeep (Front Desk Manager) was always ready to offer help. Really made an effort to make guests feel at home, and I appreciate the warm and gentle behaviour. |* Ms. Shruti (Front Desk) is very rude and never handles guests requests properly. She is unfriendly while talking to guests, always. |* No one cares if you raise any request for room, they are only up for closing it so that it does not reach higher management.|* The community manager Annie is worst, she is spreading really bad vibes, and always fighting for something or the other. She and her groupism does not let people live peacefully in the common area. Although she has been transferred now, real peace to life.|* A lot of politics are going on here.||Housekeeping: 4/5|* They do pretty well but only if they have orders.|* Mr. Ritesh is always helpful.||Cafe: 1/5|The built-in-cafe is part of common area, but I never ordered from here due to really worst food and beverages. I’ve stayed at both The Hosteller Indiranagar and The Hosteller Brigade Road many times, and I find the Brigade Road property better overall.
• The rooms in Indiranagar are quite small compared to the more spacious ones at Brigade Road.
• This time, I was allotted a 4-bed dorm at Indiranagar, but the room was very messy.
• Other guests had left their bags and personal items all over the sleeping area, making the space uncomfortable and disorganized.
• There’s a lack of basic discipline, and management needs to step up in maintaining cleanliness and order in shared spaces.
• Prices have also gone up, and it no longer feels like good value for money.
• On the positive side, the air conditioning worked well, and the staff behavior was polite and helpful.
Overall, I expect better management and room standards considering the price.

Stayed here for 2N/3D, location is great, everything is accessible from walking distance. I had booked for Superior Room with Balcony and amenities were good. Good LED TV, hot water facilities etc.
Check In was smooth, got room as early as 1 PM on 2 PM checkin time. Staff were sweet. WiFi is a drawback, connectivity isn’t as stable and causes frequent disruption.
Overall good stay, would love to be back again whenever in Bengaluru.

Great Stay in the Heart of Bangalore!
I had a wonderful experience staying at The Hosteller, Indira Nagar. The location is unbeatable—close to cafes, pubs, and metro access, yet peaceful enough for a relaxing stay. The rooms and common areas were clean, vibrant, and well-maintained. The staff was super friendly and helpful, always around to assist with local recommendations.
Loved the vibe of the place—great for solo travelers and digital nomads. The work-friendly common spaces were a big plus! Would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a budget-friendly yet comfortable stay in Bangalore.
Only Red flag is Very Poor Wi-fi and Mobile network.

A hostel is NOT a hotel. Most hostels don’t provide such things (although some may sell them), so, When It comes to stay outside your own sweet home, the 1st things we would want is a clean restroom!! And this Myroomie hostel nailed it. It was super clean and I felt very comfortable with the beds and bunkers as well as the location. It has primary access to all your needs.
Overall it was a pleasant and peaceful stay. The staff and the owner were very friendly and courteous. Thank you for a wonderful stay in MYROOMIE!!!!
There are many hostels you will get in Bangalore , it will be a PG. But it depends where you wanted to stay. If you are coming to Bangalore for study then prefer to stay in hostel for a year and then decide whether you wanted to shift and take a separate room or not. And if you are coming here for job purpose, then better take a room and stay alone or along with your friends so that at the end of the day you need some good people to spend time with and moreover there is a things called privacy, which you won’t get in PG.

We had been to a trip covering Konark, Puri Jagannath & Lingaraja swamy temples a 2 days & 1 night tour, it was very well organised.. Mr Swamy had arranged nice breakfast with water for all the group members as it was 7am flight. we enjoyed the breakfast and started the tour, Hotel stay, Food & Guide was really good.

Such a warm person she is who looked after our minutest needs very meticulously. We never missed an attraction and our food which she took pains to make us earn evey pie we spent. We had a wonderful trip to Ladakh. Travelmart did a great job organizing our trip. They checked on us everyday to make sure everything was going well. The driver/ tour guide- Surender in Ladhak was awesome. He did an excellent job showing us all the places and explaining the history. It was totally hassle free. After my wife and I reached back home on the 2nd of June 2025 from our 16 days Golden Europe tour, we were exhilarated. Several factors went into making this possible : The well planned itinerary, the comfortable stay; the friendly, caring and patient Vandana Rao who was our Tour Manager and our decent, gentle and well-behaved travel mates.
Here’s a suggestion :
Except breakfast which was European, lunch and supper were Indian —- and nothing great. I am of the opinion that indulging in the local cuisine is integral to a tour experience. Trawelmart could think of this alternative.

Well Organised Trip. Hotels, Buses & Restaurants were all good. Best part is TRAWEL MART arranging snacks to all the Group Members when the Flight was delayed & all were feeling hungry. That snack at the right time at the airport made all very happy. Tour Manager managed to arrange snacks in the airport for all. Yet another Positive Stroke was all of us had unlimited water bottles on all the days, that too chilled water. No restrictions for water bottles. Many times there will be a restriction of one or two bottles per day, but not in this trip. Overall all the members, 37 in number, all 60+ Senior Citizens enjoyed the trip.
