Delhi Highway restaurant was chosen to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary as we wanted a vegetarian restaurant. We arrived in car and the valet promptly took over the car for parking. Finding space food parking on your own is almost impossible in Indiranagar. We went in and were wowed by the ambience. It was quite and beautiful. The service was very quick and courteous. Food tasted really really good. It was cooked as requested and served hot. A touch expensive in the pocket, but offers from Zomato or Swiggy bill paying will take care of that. Overall a 5 star experience.

Review by @stuartlittleshubha
If you’re craving rich North Indian vegetarian food served with a royal flair, Delhi Highway in Indiranagar is a must-visit. I finally got a chance to try it out last weekend, and here’s my full experience — from the aroma at the entrance to the last bite of their luscious gulab jamun.
Ambience – Regal and Relaxed
Walking into Delhi Highway feels like entering a contemporary Mughal durbar — minus the pomp, plus the comfort. Think elegant wooden furniture, carved panels, soft lighting, and soothing instrumental music playing in the background. The vibe is calm, not too loud, perfect for a family dinner or even a peaceful date night.
The Food – Pure Veg, Pure Bliss
Let’s get to the main deal: the food.
Starters
We kicked off with their famous Dahi ke Kebab – crisp on the outside, melt-in-your-mouth soft inside. Easily one of the best I’ve had in Bangalore. We also tried the Paneer Tikka Delhi Highway style, marinated in rich spices and grilled to perfection – juicy, smoky, and addictive.
Mains
We went full throttle Punjabi:
• Dal Makhani – creamy, slow-cooked, and indulgent, it was the kind you want to cuddle with on a rainy day.
• Paneer Khurchan – this one surprised me! Paneer in a semi-dry tangy tomato masala, not too spicy, just right.
• Tandoori Rotis and Butter Naans were fresh, pillowy, and served hot in a basket.
We also got a portion of Jeera Rice, and it was subtly aromatic, a great side for the rich gravies.
Drinks & Dessert
Their Masala Chaas deserves a special mention — refreshing, chilled, and spiced just enough to reset your palate.
Dessert was the classic Gulab Jamun, served warm and soft, floating in just the right amount of syrup. Not cloyingly sweet, thankfully.
Service – Prompt and Polite
The staff Sampath here is well-trained, courteous, and happy to recommend dishes based on your taste. The food arrived in good time and was piping hot — bonus points for that.
If you’re looking for an upscale yet relaxed vegetarian restaurant in Indiranagar that serves authentic North Indian food, Delhi Highway is a winner. It’s perfect for vegetarians (or even non-veg folks taking a break!) who miss Delhi-style indulgence. Prices are on the higher side but totally worth it for the quality, ambience, and experience.
⭐ My Rating: 4.9/5

The ambience and service was very good. However, the cuisine suffered. No way the prices are justified for what they offer. We ordered Karachi Paneer, and it was like paneer in baigan bharta gravy. Very expensive, ok place to visit.

The ambience is a bit generic and perhaps a bit gaudy in my opinion. But the food is quite delicious. The star of the show was the fusion dish "Kadai Pasta." The portions are decent, but the prices could be lower.
Bharadwaj Vemparala (☆ 4/5)

We recently visited this restaurant and were quite disappointed with the food quality. For starters, we ordered the Dahi Ke Kebab, which lacked flavor and weren’t as soft as they should be. In the main course, we had Masala Chole along with a mix of breads. While the chole was decent, the breads were a letdown — most were either overcooked or even slightly burnt. Unfortunately, the overall experience didn’t meet our expectations.

We expected so much but upset . We waited so much , very delayed serving. Atmosphere was very good but food was little disappointing. We ordered zeera rice and the bowl was not full. That's very sad, we ordered another one because of the so less quantity. Butter roti was also so thick and half burnt.
Tomato soup everywhere we will like, here it's not that good and lack of bread also a reason. Rumali roti was also served in a foil paper.
Alu gobhi also little spiced.

Overall an average experience.
Food taste is good.
However the service is too slow, that makes the food loose it's essence and value by the time it reaches the table.
The thali has rice served alongwith the rest dishes so by the time you eat the rice it's all dried and cold.
Ala carte recommended.
Pros: taste. Ambience
Cons: service, pricing
