Dose Camp

I went here yesterday night, ordered ghee pudi masala dose and ghee pudi idli. Since, a lot of restaurants don’t serve freshly made & piping hot idlis at night, I asked the person on billing counter if they are making it hot. He was very rude and said "nahi kal ka rakha hua denge" which triggered us and we gave it back to him which he deserved. Another incident took place infront of us where a person had been waiting even before me for his pickup order but was not informed when it got ready, they packed and kept it aside which made the customer very angry as he was already in a rush so he gave them all a good bashing which made me feel better as the staff there truly seemed unbothered. Overall, good food experience, fresh and flavourful but when service is poor and servers are rude, that just ruins everything.

The smell you get while passing through this place is out of the world. That smell of ghee dosa attracted me to try this and it was so yum. I tried a ghee masala dosa, mango milk shake and a pulpy grape juice. Everything tasted amazing

The "Ganesh Darshan" feeling is missing with the new Dosa camp. The size of the dosa or idli is reduced. Roti curry and other north Indian dishes were very tasty. Sit out outside the hotel is the key here to have a great time with the friends or family.

This place is just so damn awesome. The dosa here is to die for!! The masala dosa that I had here was too tasty that I would keep visiting this place over and over again. The perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside dosa, with that brown color, with a generous amount of Potato Palya and two types of chutney is just mind blowing. You can ask sambar if you need, which is again too good!! A must visit place for all dosa lovers, has a variety of dosa options! The Vada sambar dip that I took was also great!

There is no hygiene maintain. I fond agarbatti stick lying around in food containers still nobody cares. Outside naked is like this don’t know how they prepare food inside.

Good Restaurant to try variety of Dose. Tried, >Open Butter Masale Dose : Taste was good. >Tatte Idly : Taste was good but felt costly. >Mushroom Fried Rice : Taste was average and the quantity was less for the price. Service at Dose counter was unprofessional. My order was given to somebody else and when asked, blamed me in turn and was least bothered to respond to me. Made me wait again to get my order in next round.

This place is a vibe for a reason! Their classic masala Dosa with red Chutney inside is my go-to dish. If you’re visiting in the evening, do try their Bonda soup.
