During about 2 years of my mothers illness, the nurses hired from this agency (nurse named Revathy) looked after her very well with extreme care, cleanliness amd punctuality. A HOME CARE WITH NO CARE FOR CUSTOMERS.
This is not a PAID REVIEW but honest review with the disappointing experience i had with SPANDANA HOME CARE which is in HSR layout.
Please do take note before you dive into this organisation for services as they ditch you badly at the right and crucial time.
1. Once upon a time spandana was supposed to be a clean and neat service provider for elderly care.
2. Now their services have completely degraded.
3. I presume the care takers employed by spandana is just to beat the competition.
4. Caretakers are not at all trained. Customers need to train them. Most of the caretakers have no aptitude to learn and also are very very arrogant.
5. Caretakers when deputed have reasons to escape from the house by conveying to spandana as if customer asked them to go.
7. They lack civic sense and even basic work caretakers are unable to perform.
8. Spandana has no hold on caretakers as caretakers at their will decide to leave the customers place. They don’t even care their own employer.
9. Caretakers themselves give negative opinion about spandana. Hence there is no need for any customer to write a review.
10. Replacements take their own time. It may extend from fortnight to a month or more. Hence present caretakers know the situation and play with customers.
11. Critical patients suffer because of the bad attitude of care takers.
12. Spandana still belives caretakers are true to their word and customer are liers.
13. Caretakers have no patience but expect a bounty in terms of salary. Experienced or inexperienced the salary remains same.
14. For Long term one cannot depend on spandana for sure.
15. Especially for critical care one cannot depend on spandana for sure.
16. Finally I don’t think management has any say and hence the company is managed by downline staff as per their whims and fancies.
17. All caretakers experience seems like fake as the experience and even Aadhar photo copies looks like altered. Some don’t have date of birth and others mobile numbers.
17. Now caretakers are not innocent. They have started knocking expensive things if unnoticed. I lost items worth Rs 20000.
18. There are no field officer at spandana who take stock of the situation at patients end before deputing caretakers.
19.. Care takers now a days come for time pass. If everything gets adjusted to their will they stay nor they search for another house. That’s it.
Don’t go by good reviews. Good reviews are always presumed to be paid reviews. Hence ask the real ones who have taken services and then decide.
Rest is your decision. Anyone planning to go with spandana for services need to have a clear agreement so that they don’t get ditched like us through midway.

Hard earned money just drained into the drains.
Was not a very comfortable experience with spandana. Except for a couple of the girls, the rest were extremely arrogant. They were not ready to listen to what ever was told. They don’t know the basic work but they are termed as experienced but the salary remains same. Getting replacement is a big headache. Caretakers come and go giving one or the other reasons. So back to square one. Spandana is not bothered. They are masters in ditching customers.
Finally spandana has neither hold on their caretakers nor any concern towards customers.
Rest customers can have a live experience when they engage a caretakers.

We found facility very user friendly. Mr.Anjaneya is excellent person. Anjaneyulu sir and team who have provided a path to us during the panic situation when my father was in serious condition at a multi-facility hospital where doctors were not sure about the condition of our father and they were not able to give us a direction what to do and how to handle our father’s condition even after one month stay in ICU.
Fortunately during this panic situation we came to know about Anand vihaar and we admitted our father here. Right from day one we experienced a great homely care alongwith medical care, physical and mental care. They have provided the best care to our father in all aspects. Exactly after 6 months of stay, our father became independent in performing his own day to day scores. We are very happy and my father is also very happy as we have brought him back home. Impossible has become possible and whole credit goes to Anjaneyulu sir and his team.

I had taken home care services from Athulya for my ailing dad. Within few days they arranged the staff and the entire process of registration and service initiation was very smooth. Their staff is extremely polite, well trained as they certainly could provide well care to my dad who was in critically ill state. I would like to mention about Ms. Rupalatha who was the coordinator for us, was extremely supportive and empethetic towards us. She managed staff arrangement and the replacement in a very prompt manner, that during the tenure not even for a day we had to manage without the staff.

We have tried both KSV and Whitefield branches for a relative with Parkinson’s. Athulya is not designed for elderly with any ailments that require support for feeding, grooming, walking and other daily activities. The nurses and caregivers have no SOPs/checklist prescribed, so they are clueless as to their actual work. Middle management are wholly unqualified and do no supervision. They are mainly engaged in superficial conversations with residents and their visitors, merely giving an impression of care while having no idea how to provide compassionate care. A few examples of the shoddy service quality despite the high prices they charge:
1. It took ringing the call button several times and over 30 minutes before someone came to feed my relative.
2. My relative had a dizzy spell. She was told doctor was not available. We were not informed either.
3. Basic things like laundry collection and housekeeping required us calling 3 times from abroad.
4. The caregivers are here for work experience certificate, so there is high churn, and they lack training. So you are at the mercy of the caregiver’s individual commitment and capabilities. While we had clearly said our relative will need help with dentures, the caregiver assigned declined as she had never done it before.
Unless their management is fixed, avoid this place. It also took 4 weeks of follow up to even get the discharge summary and our refundable deposit. Under their “corporate” hood, the place is complete chaos!

I had visited Athulya Bangalore prior to bringing my mother over from USA. My wife and I loved it and we were right: The entire place is maintained with extreme care and cleanliness. My mother was cared for with utmost sincerity and affection. Leelabhati who cared for my mother addressed her as “amma” and fed her every day as if my mother was her own. Malathi was extraordinary in coordinating everything and keeping me up to date whenever I contacted her from USA. Dr Sindhu tolerated my impatience politely when I was overly anxious about my mother health. I was provided with daily updates of my mother’s vitals. I was even assisted by Pandi from finance in many ways including local banking, etc. which were outside the scope of Athulya’s services. My mother became one of the Athulya’s family and everyone knew my mother and loved her till her passing on July 1, 2023. Athulya and especially Leelabathi will always remain in my heart because many of the staff including Dr Sindhu and she were next to my mother’s bedside at Manipal Hospital till her last sigh as she had given my mother last drop of water when I was in fact in USA. I reached Athulya 2 days later to perform the last rites. A chapter in my life has closed with some consolation – Athulya is part of it. Thank you Athulya.

Worst and horrible experience with Atulya management and the way they deceive patient family and get them trap with all false promises. They deploy resource with not the right skillset, when we needed Nursing cum care taker they assigned a person with barely caretaker experience, poorly trained resource. Keep in mind it is not the problem with the nursing staff but the issue is with the Coordinator who did an extremely poor coordination. It is problem with management and they do not care for customer and their staff. They treat their staff very badly. Never ever go to them if you really care for your family and waste your money.

Great, homely, reliable, secure care home for the elderly as well as the post hospitalized people who deserve good care. The best place where the personnel pay great attention towards the well being of the patients. Good quality services from cooking to well maintained medical equipments. Clean, pleasant, spacious atmosphere one can always opt for a sudden and reliable home care facility with pleasing, patient, experienced care takers with the doctor being available. Hence one can to a more extent rather depend on Saanthvana care home when it’s difficult to maintain patients at home which can always be regarded as the best place than the home where the patient is rather being under the supervision of the doctor, nurse and care takers with their always prompt service. My dad who is a stroke patient is doing well there from past one year with their good care, well served food, frequent monitoring on the health. My gratitude for the care takers, nurse, doctor service for which when it was the difficult time at home to pay attention towards his unstable health.

We visited the place on International Senior Citizen’s Day which happens to be on 21st of August. Had a great time there interacting with the people there! The care provided by the staff is really appreciable. Apart from their basic stay there they also have a health care facility, pharmacy and a counselling centre. The whole campus is a conducive centre and most of the people there are excited about everything that comes their way. Although they’re old they are energetic (not physically in all cases) but their smile speaks it all.
