We would like to give a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at HCG who gave us excellent service when my niece travelled from Zimbabwe for chemotherapy.
We feel very blessed to have met everyone who was involved in her care, they really become a second family to us.
From the initial referral, Miss Chaitra handled it with much professionalism and our case was accepted very quickly.
Fara and Bhavana from the international team were our guiding hand throughout the visa application process to us arriving in India. Nothing was ever too much.
The medical team were just exceptional, Dr Interzar, Dr Suma and Dr Smita. Investigations and treatment plans were discussed with us, they were very open and transparent about the whole process, managing expectations and putting my niece’s wellbeing at the centre of everything. We truly appreciated the love and care they showed towards my niece, it was more than what duty calls.
Once treatment started the international team again guided us through all the processes. Special mention to Satish who really went above and beyond and assisted us with everything from appointment times, finances and sometimes even ordering us Ubers.
All the porters were also great, Mr Patabi to mention a few. There was such warmth from everyone.
The inpatient and outpatient nurses were very prompt with administering medications once they received them. There could however be some improvement in the internal logistics of medications as they were delayed at times.
International bank payments could also be handled promptly as there was an issue with flow of cash within HCG’s internal finance team.
We are forever grateful to HCG and their amazing staff!

Excellent hospital The doctors and nurses provide round the clock care. Great facilities very good patient care. Had bad experience with HCG hospital especially HEAD AND NECK TEAM. Post service after operation is the worst and hygiene is not maintained in accordance to the charges they made. They give lot hopes before operation. Later in between the operation main surgeon of head and neck team says we were not suppose to touch the area for operation. Later the vascular surgeon comes out and tell the main vein which was carrying blood to brain was touched during the operation there is a chance of stroke. Finally we lost our mother in fifteen days from operation. On that day early morning when we took our mother to hospital for check up. There was no proper response from team which operated. The other staffs were forcing us to take the body immediately home and they were not ready to give death certificate at that point of time.

My father was diagnosed with prostate cancer 6-7 months back, initially he was having problem in passing urine…we consulted our family physian and he prescribed some test (USG , PSA) , reports were showing enlarged prostate with high PSA level….he referred him to uro oncologist for further treatment.
MRI and PET CT scans were done as per doctor’s advise with reports confirming the diagnosis for Prostate cancer.
Before starting the treatment we took opinions from 2-3 uro oncos but we were not much satisfied with the plan suggestd.
With reference from one of my friend we went for consultation with Dr. Raghunath sir, after seeing all reports and noting all details he and him team doctor’s councelled us to lower the anxiety and nervosness we were going through.
Then they suggested to go for TRUS Biopsy explaing in detail the procedure and how it well help in giving the best possible treatment.
After analysing the Biopsy report and other reports in detail we were told about the treatment plan in detail with 6 months of HT followed by surgery for removal of Prostate.
Recently my father underwent Robotic surgery for removal of Prostate as per the plan discussed earlier, and he is doing well after successfull surgery.
We are very grateful to Dr. Raghunath Sir and his entire team( Dr. Kinju, Dr. Ravi, Dr. Deepak, Dr. Ankit) for taking great care and understanding the feelings of patient and family members during these tough times.
The way they guide and explain with confidence at every step provide a sense of relief and mental satisfaction to patient and family members, we feel free to ask and clear any doubts.
Paramedical staff (Mr. Sangamesh) needs special mention as he is also very kind and helpful in coordinating with appointments and other issues making it very convenient.
Very thankful to Dr. Raghunath sir and his team for taking utmost care post surgery with regular interaction with patient , motivating them and asking for day to day updates.

Recently I was having health problems with my prostate. I was told by my urologist doctor, after examination, that the best option in my case was to undergo a ‘surgical removal of the prostate by robotic surgery.’ A known doctor friend, Dr. Raghu referred me to Dr. S.K. Raghunath of HCG hospital telling me that he is the best. Accordingly consulted Dr. SK Raghunath with all the records and MRI report.He advised that the best option for me is to have prostate removal by robotic surgery. The doctor made us to understand the procedure and its benefits clearly.
Before that, his team doctors noted down all the important things in a notebook, a summary case history, for his perusal. On the day of surgery, I was taken to OT in the morning and in the evening I was in the ICU after surgery. I was told that the surgery was a complete success. Extra care and precautions were made in the OT as I am a heart patient too , but by the grace of God nothing unusual happened and I was told that everything was smooth, and as planned.
I like the way doctor SK Raghunath explains all the things to me and to my family. His clarity of purpose, confidence in the job to be done, and his down to earth behaviour with us were really amazing. The doctor was so modest, that he used to address all of us as ‘sir’ Dr.SK Raghunath is a professional surgeon, a very very big surgeon, probably the best in the field, but his humane approach, easy communication, the way he understands the fear and anxiety of patients and gives solution is really great. These are great qualities which are not common to be seen.
His team doctors are also very highly qualified,talented and do a very good job as a team. The hospital as a whole, ICU, the ward, and the food, were all of excellent quality.The nursing care provided was also great.
Mr Sangamesh the secretary to the doctor, who coordinates with the doctor on all matters, is a very nice gentleman with lot of patience and of very helpful nature.Thanks to him.
Even after discharge from the hospital, Dr.S.K. Raghunath, keeps monitoring his patients by way of WhatsApp. It is such a great helpful measure and he answers any concerns or questions from the patients on a daily basis.
In conclusion, I consider myself to be very fortunate to have got treatment from Dr SK Raghunath in the HCG Hospital. we all in the family sincerely thank him from the bottom of our hearts. Let there not me any second thoughts as to whom to consult for any Onco Urological issues, or for a robotic surgery, it is surely Dr. SK Raghunath only. Patients are absolutely safe in his hands. Big thank you to the oncology wing doctors for treating my househelp and helping her to be cancer free.
My househelp was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent mastectomy of her right breast. By God’s grace, it came out to be an early stage cancer with no spread to the other areas. The surgical oncology doctors- Dr. Ganesh, Dr. Priya, Dr. Aakarsh had been really really kind and patient. They patiently explained everything to me and my househelp at every stage and made the patient totally comfortable to deal with this deadly disease. Special mention for Dr. Priya and Dr. Aakarsh whom I could reach out to for all doubts. They were both very accessible most of the time. Also, the doctors at Vydehi helped in bringing down the costs for this under privileged lady. Bare minimum charges were given which was very comforting to my househelp as well.
I also had met with Dr. Geeta in radiation oncology initially and Dr. Manjunath in medical oncology after the mastectomy was done. They both also were very good with the patient, very knowledgeable in their field and have given the right advice to treat my househelp.
We wish good for the doctors who selflessly contribute in a big way to so many people’s lives

Doctor are good but once you admitted in DWC or golden ward or any ward then it’s your headache.
But the real problem with DWC admin team.
You need to pay for the services and you need to follow up for everything.
Worst of the worst .. they are not taking suggestions or comments seriously.
You need to very much careful in analysing all the bills ..if the DWC take the comments seriously then it’s good else they will lose creditably.. some nurses need to be bit proactive ..

Niti’s team is generally wonderful and empathetic; however, the same cannot be said for Niti herself. She often makes her patients feel as though they should be honored to be in her presence, reflecting a narcissistic attitude evident even in her online presence (She has labeled herself the ‘best oncologist in Bangalore’). She is pompous and dismissive of concerns raised by patients and their families. Mentioning a second opinion to her is ill-advised, as her ego will likely cause her to de-prioritize your care.
My father was under her care for several months, and the recurring issues we encountered included:
1. She never made time to see him outside of her outpatient department (OPD). She claimed to be too busy and insisted her team had everything under control. However, other doctors we consulted emphasized the importance of in-person interaction (even people at Fortis have acknowledged the lack of empathy from Dr Niti – but are too scared to come forward), especially during extensive and taxing chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments.
2. She persistently pushed for continuous chemotherapy and immunotherapy sessions without considering the patient’s condition. For instance, after my father underwent an intensive gall bladder surgery, she insisted on resuming chemotherapy immediately without allowing him time to recover. This is just one example of how she has prioritized revenue over patient well-being.
If possible, avoid her care. While she may be highly qualified, there are equally qualified oncologists at other hospitals who are also empathetic—something you and your loved ones will come to greatly appreciate through the course of this physically and mentally intensive journey.

Our experience with Dr. Niti Raizada has been deeply disappointing. She never seemed to make time for her patients. While her team of junior doctors (most of them )who were truly lovely and caring, were always available, we never saw her visit her patients in the wards, despite our repeated requests. I vividly remember a time when my father, the patient, was too ill to come to the hospital, yet one of the junior doctors, Dr. Prajwal, was unhelpful in getting any opinion from the head doctor.
Dr. Niti showed no empathy towards her patients and never seemed interested in engaging in meaningful conversations with them. Her primary focus appeared to be admitting patients for chemotherapy, without considering whether they were physically fit enough to undergo treatment.
Personalized care is non-existent here. The doctor’s main priority seemed to be generating revenue for the hospital, which, unfortunately, often feels like it’s exploiting patients financially. The lack of transparency and support in such hospitals is troubling, and the billing practices need to be thoroughly audited.
In oncology, especially, we expect a level of compassion and humanity which is as important as physically treating the patient. Doctors who cannot empathize with their patients should reconsider specializing in such a sensitive field.
The doctor did not even have the decency to express condolences to a family after losing a family member who had been under their care in oncology.

We consulted Dr. Sridhar PS for cyberknife treatment for my father, a defence veteran. Unfortunately, the treatment led to severe side effects, and we ultimately lost him. While some information was provided about the procedure, we feel the communication was incomplete—especially regarding the risks involved and post-treatment outcomes.
What was most disappointing is that, despite my father being eligible for insurance coverage due to his defence service, we were never informed about it. This added avoidable financial and emotional burden to an already painful situation.
Patients and families deserve complete information—not just about the treatment but also about available support and entitlements. I sincerely hope others are treated with more transparency and care.

And doctors here are the worst they go for lunch on time but never be back on time it’s been 2.40 and no once yet showed up.
Just for a signature to admit my mom I’ve been here since morning 12:00pm
And I haven’t yet to the signature there’re just chasing everyone from one place to another because the people are very busy chit chatting.

If you have a BPL card, your bill will be zero. However, visitors should act responsibly. There are shoe racks available, but many people don’t use them, and the toilets are not kept clean. The general ward is good, but there are bed bugs. While the facilities are excellent, people need to be more responsible in maintaining cleanliness.”

This hospital is supposed to provide care, but the staff here treat patients with zero respect. They are rude, misleading, and completely unprofessional. Instead of helping, they act like patients are a burden.
The hygiene is horrible, especially in the chemotherapy ward. Because of their filthy conditions, my mother developed a skin infection, adding to her already difficult battle with cancer. Hospitals are meant to heal, not make patients sicker!
If you’re coming here, be prepared to fight for basic care because the staff don’t care. They won’t explain anything properly, they give misleading information, and they treat people like they’re dogs. Patients deserve better than this negligence.

People who have been treated in a hospital may have a better understanding than readers, and organisations will never be aware of what is happening there. There is no token disply system and mic announcement. only internal adjustment, money adjustment. Recommend adjustment only. New building but old technology. There is no toilet.

Be ready to run around at least 5 to 10 hrs if you want to show any patient to opd.
CT scan department is worst, opd is worst.
No one knows what you need to do next, just keep running around until you figure out yourself. CT scan when one of the patient relative asked, response was it was not taking electricity so we have asked for petrol. Now it will work. Exact 4.05 pm response is. It’s already 4 pm so we won’t be able to give date for ct scan.
Totally unorganized management. Worst hospital seen till date.
Everything is at least 1km away from each other. Only best department in whole building is security. They are helpful on guiding.
If I was running this hospital, 75% of executives would have been fired.
