My mother had been struggling with knee pain for 10 years and was not able to walk properly. We saw Dr. Naveen at his clinic. After speaking to him my mother got confidence to go ahead with the Total Knee Replacement. It all went smoothly and now she is 6 months post surgery recovered very well. She is walking 3 km comfortably and is happy. Glad that we got the good treatment.

My wife was diagnosed with necrosis of the hip and needed total hip replacement surgery in September 2024. Facing such a major procedure was overwhelming, but Dr. Naveen and his dedicated team at Sports Orthopedic Institute provided us with the right guidance, support, and medical expertise at every step. The surgery took place in Manipal Hospital, Sarjapur Road. I would like to share our experience and express my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Naveen, his medical team—Drs. Sameer, Nivid, and Sharan—as well as Mr. Arjun, the financial manager, for their invaluable assistance throughout this process. Prior to surgery: Doctor Naveen explained the problem in detail with help of X ray, MRI scan. Then he provided with solution and about the surgery and course to action. The doctor and his medical staff Doctors Sameer, Nivid and Sharan gave the correct advise and helped prepare us mentally for the surgery. Once committed to the surgery: Mr. Arjun (Financial Manager) helped all the details and forms for insurance. Explained nicely about the total costs and took care of appointments about various tests prior to the surgery. With his help, pre surgery tests, the admission to the hospital and cashless claim for hospitalization was very very smooth. The hospital staff in Manipal Hospital, Sarjapur Rd, was very considerate and helping. Took good care before, during and after the surgery. The surgery was successful and went without complication. Post surgery: Post surgery care in hospital was also great. The Doctors and his staff were visiting and montoring from time to time about the wound and dressing. The hospital staff along with the Physiotherapy, Dietician, Physician were also monitoring and advising about things to take care. After 5 days with help of doctors and staff my wife was able to walk with help of walker and ready to discharge. Discharge Process: The discharge process from the hospital was also very smooth. The preparation of Mr. Arjun, was very thorough and kudos to the hospital also for easy discharge process. The total estimate of expenditure was on spot and there were no surprises. We were apprehensive about the surgery earlier but the doctor, his medical staff gave us confidence and with doctor's experience able hands, their professional care and support, everything turned out to be very well. I had consulted Dr. Naveen, a year ago for a shoulder blade ailment and he was the one who finally diagnosed the ligament tear (previously, I had visited a couple of other doctors and was managing the pain with pain relief oilments). With the suggested PT and exercises, I have been able to manage the condition well. So when I was suffering from severe back pain, I had no doubts than to visit his clinic again to find out what the issue was! ----- *Appointment* You need to call 2 or 3 days prior to your visit to get an appointment as the appointment slots seems to get filled in fast. On my first day of visit, I had to wait for more than 1 and a half hours even though I had taken appointment. Second and third visits were better in terms of waiting, but still, be prepared to wait. And yes, it is time consuming! The front desk attendees can sometimes appear to be confused when it comes to appointment management. ----- *Consultation* At first, one of the doctor's assistants will do a thorough examination of your condition. Then for our better understanding, the doctor will explain the diagnosis using a visual representation on the monitor. Post which, Dr. Naveen will examine you and suggest further steps. For my IT Band issue, he suggested stretching exercises. On my second visit, he suggested to do an MRI as my pain wasn't subsiding. However, I was suggested to continue with my stretching exercises. ----- There are washrooms provided in the floor. Drinking water is available and there is ample space in the seating area.

I had a fracture of a bone in the wrist due to falling from bike. 1st doctor saw xray and told me that it's not broken. After 1 month, I still had pain and hence saw Dr. Naveen. He confirmed that I had a scaphoid fracture and now that has opened up. I had to get surgery done. He put 1 small screw inside the bone itself. It has been 3 months now. I am happy with my recovery and bone has healed now.

Few months back I underwent ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair surgery under the care of Dr. Naveen, and I couldn’t be more thankful for the exceptional support and expertise that helped me through this journey. He was incredibly patient, attentive, and mindful of my limitations. He knew exactly how much to push and when to ease off. His sessions were thoughtfully planned, and he regularly communicated with Dr. Naveen to ensure my progress was on track. Today, I am back to my active lifestyle—exercising, running, and getting back to normal. This wouldn’t have been possible without the expertise of Dr. Naveen and the dedicated effort of Mansoor. I am truly grateful to both of them for guiding me through this challenging phase and helping me return to normal life with confidence.
