RB Associates - Advocates and Tax Masters

Five stars are for Divya Mam but I have another story to share as well - I was searching online for Khata services and registered my number on a few websites, including EazyLegal. A few days later, a man named Ramesh Babu contacted me on WhatsApp, offering Khata services. Initially, I ignored him, but he persistently followed up, so I eventually responded and engaged in a conversation with him. He claimed to work for RB Associates and shared details about the firm to establish credibility. He assured me that he would complete the Khata process for ₹15,000 and promised a full refund if he failed to deliver. Trusting his word, I paid him the advance amount of 5000 and waited for updates. After almost a month of silence, I followed up for updates. Instead of providing clarity, he began demanding additional money and documents, which I had already shared. When I reminded him of our agreement and asked for a refund, he responded with threats and didn't return the money. To date, I have not received my money from him. Finally, I reached out to Divya mam few months ago and I shared all these details with Divya Mam. She confirmed that Ramesh Babu is associated with RB Associates and assured me that she would help resolve the issue. I had to pay the whole fees (in fact much more) again to Divya mam but she worked and got the khata done. However, the 5000 I paid to that man is still with him and I never got it back. I really appreciate Divya mam's effort and professionalism here but at the same time I feel bad for her that there are few folks using her company's name to cheat customers. Additionally, I hope that sharing my story will serve as a cautionary tale, helping others avoid finding themselves in a similar situation with this man.
