BOARD 4 BORED is an innovative and creative concept. The idea of bringing together board games from all over the world is refreshing and definitely makes this place stand out. However, while the concept is unique and fun, there are a few things that could be improved.
We were 2 groups of 6 in each group. The café charges ₹80 per head per hour if you’re in a group of more than six, which feels a bit steep. Additionally, on weekends, you may have to wait for staff to explain the games, which can be frustrating. If you’re paying a premium, you’d expect better service and smoother assistance with the games.
Another downside is the cost of the food. The menu is already expensive, and on top of that, they add hefty taxes for both food and the games. While charging GST is understandable, they should either include the tax in the menu price or reevaluate the pricing altogether. As it stands, the food feels overpriced, and the extra taxes make the experience feel unnecessarily expensive.
We also faced issues with billing. Despite being two separate groups, they combined our orders into a single bill, which caused confusion. The staff seemed rigid and unaccommodating in this regard, which left a sour impression.
While the concept and the variety of games make it worth a one-time visit, I wouldn’t recommend visiting frequently due to the high costs and service inconsistencies. If you do plan to visit, I suggest playing games here but eating at one of the many nearby restaurants instead. That way, you can enjoy the games without breaking the bank on food.

Tucked away in the middle of a crowded market, this board game cafe is great to organise meetups with friends and just spend a few hours enjoying the simple things.
Amazing collection of games. Really fun and lots of variety. The hosts will also explain the games to you and recommend what you’d like based on your interests.
Food is less than mediocre, in our opinion. We tried a few of their pizzas, rice bowls and drinks. Very spicy rice dish, dry dough and just not worth the price and taxes.
The food service was also not great. It would beneficial to train the serving staff to understand personal space. Nothing creepy, it was just unexpected and uncomfortable.
They charge Rs 80 per person/per hour, with tax it comes to Rs 100.
Would I go again? I don’t know, really. We loved the place and the games, but the food made it confusing

Visited New Boarding Cafe in Jayanagar recently and had a great time! The ambiance is cozy and relaxed — a nice spot to hang out with friends or get some work done.
We ordered the French Fries, Large Pizza, and Old Coffee. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned — perfect as a starter. The pizza was generously topped, had a nice cheesy pull, and tasted fresh. The crust could have been a bit crispier, but overall, it was satisfying. The Old Coffee was rich and aromatic — a nostalgic touch that we really enjoyed.
Service was friendly and reasonably quick. Prices felt fair for the quality and portion size. Definitely a place worth revisiting! Just a little room for improvement on the pizza crust and it’d be perfect.

We had a mix-up of our bike helmet with another customer & they were so helpful in going through footage and assisting us in getting our helmet back. And this was during peak hours when their cafe was packed & full of customers! Thank you so very much – super grateful – not all places or people give you this kind of time, thought & kindness.

Before I give my review about the food, let me share what happened today. After having a starter earlier, I thought today I will go and try a main course. Imagine my disappointment, when I saw it closed with a notice saying that it will open at 1.30 pm. I was doubtful, since even the chairs were not arranged and it was already 1.15. On an earlier occasion, I had seen the staff coming from the upper floor and hence took a chance to go upstairs to check. There was a staff person sitting there, who told me that there was some function in the owners house and all the staff were there.
I asked him to call and find out if anyone is coming. He called and was told that it will be more late and that the cafe will not open at 1.30.
Imagine, if I had been standing and waiting there hoping it will open at 1.30?. This kind of behaviour is not professional. Atleast, you should update in Google about the change even if it is for one day. Some other customer had written on the note itself that they had travelled for 1.5 hours and were going back disappointed.
I may or may not go back, but here is my review about the one dish I had on another day.

They give 5 tikkis with chutney. Crispy and nice, the taste is just perfect. The best part is that it came in exactly 11 minutes after ordering. So, atleast their inhouse service looks good.

Conveniently located in the bustling restaurant district of Koramangala 7th Block, right across from Badmaash, it’s easy to locate.
I had a fantastic time at the launch of their revamped menu, which offers a wide variety of dishes — from Indian coastal and tandoori flavors to Pan-Asian and continental cuisines along with fantastic drinks.
Despite the name, K-OS isn’t chaotic at all. It’s full of vibrant energy, fun games, and a lively atmosphere, making it a great hangout spot with friends. We had a gala time playing advanced Dart games, Snooker and Foosball. The place even features a compact dance floor where a DJ spins upbeat Bollywood tracks.

Mostly the cafe is filled with PCs and few PS5s. They charge ₹120/hour. They create an account with your phone number and the unused time can be used at a later date!
The PCs are very capable with Nvidia RTX cards pushing 400+ fps consistently! They have pre-loaded multiplayer games( Valorant, Marvel Legends etc.). Comfy chairs and headphones!
This place also has an in house cafe serving Sandwiches , Chinese , milkshakes and even Red Bull! They don’t allow outside food which isn’t a bad thing as their in house food is good.

I had made a previous review stating how all the players got scammed and you guys reached out to me within a day to make me take that review down along with the reason that the money was delayed. On call we were told that we would get it soon but seems it was all a scam. Especially when you guys make us pay for the time that we spent in the cafe for the tournament as well, it all looks like a scam. Just a way to get more players to come to the cafe in the name of tournaments and big cash prizes. Please don’t try to contact me to take down this review because this is my honest opinion about this gaming cafe. Making a really cool gaming cafe to run scams like this will eventually get you to shut that place down. If not now it will end up soon. Please don’t announce LAN tournaments if you CANT PAY THE PLAYERS!!!

LXG is an amazing place. Easily the best gaming parlour in Bangalore:
The PCs have RTX 3070Ti with Ryzen 5600X with 16 GB RAM. the mouse varies, all Logitech mice, g502, g403X and others, as for the keyboard it’s the G-512 mechanical keyboards.
As for comfort, the headphones were really comfortable, and the sound quality was great. it was the GPRO X. The gaming chair was really comfortable too.
The staff was respectful and helpful whenever needed.
As for the food, it was also really nice, maybe a little expensive but you can almost have a 3 course meal there
We got 20-30 ping on their wifi with no packet loss or latency variation, the headphones drown out all noise, even though there was barely any noise when we went there.
Comfort: 9/10 (chairs could still be better)
Gameplay: 10/10 (300+ frames on valorant on everything on + high and 700+ frames on valorant with everything low + off with music)
Food: 10/10 (everything was served fast and tasted amazing)
Staff and overall experience: 8/10 (although it was good when we got there, it took a lot of planning for 5 people)
Internet: 20-30 ping on India servers

Always an amazing experience when I visit LXG. This place keeps pulling me back to it!!!
So, I only gamed on the PC and it’s 120 bucks an hour. They have put up signs saying they don’t allow outside food or drinks but that don’t matter as they have a kick-ass in-house kitchen which serves sandwiches, noodles, dry/semi starters (veg and non-veg), milkshakes and more. Oh and let’s not forget that they also sell water, soft drinks and energy drinks inside the cafe!!!!!

We came to the cafe, spending our hard-earned money for a fleeting moment of joy, only to be met with the most outrageously offensive treatment—hands down the most deplorable and humiliating experience I’ve ever endured. From the second we stepped in, the staff relentlessly harassed us without a shred of justification, fostering a hostile and toxic environment. He even disrespected my partner, who was sitting there doing absolutely nothing, adding to the insult. To top it off, he had the audacity to kick us out before our time was up and smugly declared we were banned for life. The whole ordeal was utterly despicable and beyond intolerable.

I had one of the worst experiences at this place. From the moment I arrived, I was met with complete rudeness from the receptionist. She acted like she was doing me a favor just by acknowledging my presence. No smile, no basic courtesy – just a cold attitude and clear disinterest in helping.
Things only got worse when the food arrived. The cook literally just dumped the plate on the table and walked off like it was a burden to serve me. No eye contact, no explanation, not even a basic “here’s your order.” It felt like they didn’t want customers at all.
The food itself was average, but the way it was served made the whole experience feel disrespectful and uncomfortable. I go out to eat not just for food, but for a welcoming atmosphere. This place completely failed at that.

For people who love board games, this place is a gem!
Once you visit and start playing, you won’t even realise when 4 hours have flown by.
They charge ₹80 per person per hour on weekdays and ₹100 per person on weekends.
If you’re going as a group of 6 or more, it’s ₹60 per person on weekdays and ₹80 per person on weekends.
I personally spent almost 3 hours without realising and learned 4 completely new board games that I had never even heard of before!
The best part? There’s always someone who comes to your table, suggests games, and even teaches you how to play.
This is a pure veg café, and the food and drinks are really good — especially the pizza, which was just too good!
You can also celebrate birthday parties, kitty parties, and they even have IPL screenings.

Experience of playing games with some food is really a nostalgic feeling and this place took me back to my old days. There are so many board games and the staff were really sweet and helpful. Food wass somewhat okish as the peri peri fries and white sauce pasta were not so good. Dragon rice was really spicy, Pink sauce pasta and Milkshakes were fine.
I would recommend people to go with their friends and try to play new board games as u can and have fun(Dont worry staff is very much helpful in teeling u how does the fame goes). I had gone for celebrating birthday and i really enjoyed here.

The concept of playing while eating is an unusual and good one .
The food is great and Quantity is good. We had never thought we’ll be offered so much fries for a single plate . The Thai Curry was Delicious .
You can either sit up or down . I feel they should make arrangements for slippers while sitting down .
My husband and I played there for 2 hours.
We loved playing Tuki… it’s slow to start with but once u get a hang of it… there is no coming back .
The only thing is they charge 80 per person per hour which can be reduced as food is already pricey .

This is the second time we’re going to this franchise. The first one was in Gandhibazar and we loved it there too.
This one has the same theme, almost similar games, just a bit bigger.
For those who are new, you can get to play boardgames on an hourly basis. The courteous staff will help you pick out a game that you’ll enjoy based on your interests and past experience. They’ll also help you understand the rules of the game by explaining and demonstrating it too. There’s no loud music – which is a big plus for people like me who hate loud places.
There’s also a restaurant in-house and you can order food while playing. The charges for food and the games are separate. It isn’t mandatory to order food. You can just play and pay for the games alone.
The food is decent. The drinks weren’t as good. Hence 4 stars. Else, a 5 star place.

Disappointing Experience at This Gaming Cafe
Reaching the location itself is inconvenient, and once there, you’re met with a steep flight of stairs that make access even more difficult. The PCs often stutter during gameplay, and Faceit doesn’t function properly, which is a major drawback for serious players. The food is also quite average and not worth mentioning. Overall, not a great spot for gaming enthusiasts.

This gaming center provides value like no other place.
There are a lot of systems with snacks available.
The only downside would be the quality of equipments and crowd.
Equipments aren’t bad for the price but they aren’t really great as well.
It does get crowded at peak times and you would have to wait a few mins if all the systems are taken.Go at morning or noon.
