Lucky Chan - Dim Sum and Sushi Parlour, Indiranagar has a rating of 4.2 out of 5 based on over 2561 reviews on Google

I've visited this place a couple of times and always enjoy the experience. The cream cheese dumplings are absolutely delicious and a definite highlight. The sushi is also excellent, and the starters were quite enjoyable as well. While the Dan Dan noodles were just average, the overall dining experience was very satisfying. The service was decent—not exceptional, but nothing to complain about. The ambiance adds to the experience, making it a great spot for a nice meal out. It is slightly on the pricier side, but the quality of the food makes it worth it.

Rating out of 5 Food - 4 Drinks / Beverage - 4 cleaniness - 4.0 service - 4.0 ambience - 3.5 Parking - Valet & Street Parking Recommendation - Sushi, Ramen & Soju Me being a repeat customer here, says a lot about food. The best aspect of Lucky Chan is that the food experience is changed according to Indian flavours—-they keep their originality & ensure your tasty buds are surprised yet satisfied. A big list of sushi options. Your opt for any flavour & you will not be disappointed. The place serving soju is a big bonus. I have tried a ramen bowl, few other dimsums & noodles. All have their own unique taste. Recommendation will be to book a table while planning to go & the menu is really expansive so take time to go over the options & do ask if you have any questions.

We ordered the Tiger Maki roll, prawn dumplings topped with chili oil and Thai green curry. The maki roll and dumplings were absolutely delicious, while the Thai curry was unfortunately a bit underwhelming. The place has a soft pink ambiance and the service was quick. The washroom was clean, which is always a plus. Overall: 8.2/10

Such a cute place with both indoor and outdoor seating — we chose to sit outside, but the inside looked nice too. The food was honestly really good. The only thing I’d say is that the Shanghai Udon Noodles were a bit too heavy on salt and spices, but everything else was yum.

The restaurant is visually stunning—beautifully decorated with cherry blossoms and a well-designed sushi bar that adds to the overall ambiance. However, the service left room for improvement. Our server appeared somewhat unprepared and required multiple reminders to clean the table and provide basic items like tissues and drinking water. Additionally, there was some confusion regarding the availability of Soju options. We initially ordered melon Soju, which was available at the time. On our second round, we were informed that melon was out of stock, and peach—previously unavailable—had suddenly become an option. This inconsistency was a bit frustrating. That said, the food was excellent. As a group of seven, we ordered a variety of dishes and were thoroughly impressed. The sushi—particularly the Prawn Tempura and Tuna varieties—was outstanding. The Udon and Dan Dan noodles were flavorful, and the Karaage chicken was well-prepared. The Soju was a highlight for many of us. The only small critique was the portion size of the sticky mango rice, which could have been more generous. Overall, we had a great culinary experience. The food more than made up for the service, which we hope improves over time.

Went to Lucky Chan for an occasion. Everything we ordered was delicious, except for the Som Tom Thai salad (which was under seasoned). Would definitely recommend the place for the food and the service. However, if you are someone like me who prefers a rather quaint place to dine in, please be cautious. The ambience can quite noisy (almost annoying) on busy days, like weekends. I went here on a Sunday.

A pretty cozy Japanese restaurant that had been on my list for a while, and overall, it was a pretty solid experience. The ambiance was modern yet warm, with subtle lighting and a clean layout that made it feel inviting without being too formal. We started with some dim sums and sushi, both of which were fresh and well-prepared. The dim sums had a delicate wrapper with flavorful fillings, nothing too bold, but still satisfying. The sushi, especially the salmon nigiri, was buttery and clean, definitely a highlight of the evening. I also tried the hibachi fried rice and dan dan noodles. The hibachi rice had that perfect wok-char flavor and just the right amount of seasoning, making it super addictive. However, the dan dan noodles were a bit of a letdown. While the portion size was generous, the flavor lacked the depth and spice kick that I usually expect from this dish, it felt a bit too toned down, almost like it was missing that punch of Sichuan pepper. For dessert, the mango sticky rice was a pleasant surprise. The mango was sweet and the warm coconut-infused rice paired beautifully with it, comforting and not overly sweet. We also had a couple of drinks, which were fun and fruity, though a bit overpriced for what they were. Service was friendly and attentive throughout, which added to the positive vibe. All in all, Lucky Chan is worth checking out, especially for the ambience.
