Seeing the good reviews for their tiffin service, ordered 45 meals for a gathering at my place. They utterly disappointed me by delivering the meals good 45 minutes late that too in instalments. They were hardly 3 kms from my place but still delivered so late. As the gathering was only of senior citizens, many could not wait for the food and had to eat fruits and other snacks. This also resulted in heavy wastage of food. Even the food quality was not that great despite paying the price asked by them. While they may be good in tiffin/meal services, not sure they are good caterers for bulk supplies. Sure not to order again from them.

I had good experience but the behaviour of delivery manager – Gajendra Singh was very very rude and unprofessional and he said – ‘he doesn’t care about customers nor respect them.’ On his instructions, catering staffs at my place created a very bad situations in party with people around. It was Prasad(Owner) who was cool and managed the situation and helped us. Else food and presentation were good. I literally felt bad and was shocked with Ganjedra behaviour and was determined to take action against him but my wife stopped me for doing so. If you are taking service please make sure he is not around your ordering or delivery process. He is pathetic with his words and behaviour. May God give him some cool to deal with customers and their issues, else some customers would show him his place.

Enrolled for a gradual weight loss programme with balanced plate 3 meal plan 1200 calorie intake plan on 27 Feb 25.
I still have a few days to go for my plan to end and the weight loss goal of 7 kg that I had set for myself has been reached and even exceeded. Closer to 9 kgs.
The food is balanced tasty with food cravings decreasing considerably after the first few days, In a week they are easily manageable as the taste, variety and serving size are adequate.
Staying focused on the goal helps. As was the consultation with Ms. Poornima who is well informed and does not set or promote unrealistic goals. It was a pleasure interacting with her.
Apart from the programme and the diet, I must thank the efficient delivery system that ensures you get the day menu on time everyday. A difficult task in the Bangalore traffic. Kudos to the team and Mr. Mani in particular. The meal options and schedule changes on the app are very useful and offer a lot of options at food choices and also for taking short breaks during the programme.Thoughtful and practical options without losing sight of the goal.
Important to add that my normal walks and free hand exercise routine continued as usual.I did not experience any significant hunger pangs except the first few days as mentioned.
The meal plans are very reasonably priced.I have no hesitation in recommending this programme. I followed the advice to the “t”and never had a serious cheat day except for the odd apple on a few.

Been regularly ordering from this site for meals for my daughter. The food is decent except for occasional mishaps. The sad part is the absolutely botched up delivery service. Yesterday was an especially horrible incident. The delivery guy showed up outside my daughter’s flat and demanded payment in cash (we’d paid for 3 meals this week online already) and didn’t leave until she paid it. He wouldn’t listen to anything she said or I said on the phone, as he demanded we speak in Kannada. Hindi was not acceptable neither was English. My child ended up paying for a meal after a half hour argument, that was already paid for. I can’t even reach the site number to complain hence this post.

Food was tasty. One drawback was two major dishes in the Kerala Sadhya – sambar and parippu -were absent. Similarly, keeping all these plastic boxes in a paper carry bag was disastrous. I have ordered Varamahalakshmi special lunch on 23rd August. The food was excellent. The quantity was sufficient. The food tasted like home cooked food. Packing was done properly. What was special more than all these was the way the customer is thanked by food provider as recorded on the parcel cover. Only suggestion to the food provider is to reduce the use of cooking oil so that the elders can safely enjoy the dishes.

I ordered paratha butter chicken bowl from here. I don’t know if it is chicken or not. It was black in color and seems like it was very old chicken and they added chemicals to make it fresh. I had very very badcexperience today. Please don’t buy food from here.

The Bowl Company- Found this on Swiggy and I thought let me give it a try. I tried and it turns out to be really nice. I got 3 items as you all can see, which is:
1.Manchurian with chill Garlic Hakka Noodles
2.Rajma Porotta Bowl
3.Peri Peri Chicken with Egg Corn Rice
All the 3 items Tasted really amazing and my all time fav is Rajma Bowl was cooked really fine. As a whole, I would say if you are lazy and ready to get the food from out you could try it.
It would be really heavy heavy heavy meal but yes could fill in your stomach.

Extremely Disappointed with The Bowl Company and Swiggy’s Customer Service
I recently placed an order for peri peri chicken with egg corn rice from The Bowl Company through Swiggy. Unfortunately, what I received was completely uncooked chicken, which not only ruined my appetite but also resulted in a waste of money.
The fact that The Bowl Company, a reputed restaurant, would serve raw chicken is simply unacceptable. This demonstrates a severe lack of quality control and disregard for customer satisfaction. It’s disappointing when a restaurant fails to uphold basic food safety standards.
To make matters worse, my attempts to seek a refund through Swiggy have been met with unhelpful responses. The lack of support and resolution from Swiggy’s customer service team has added to my frustration and left me feeling helpless.
As a customer, I expect both the restaurant and the online ordering platform to take responsibility for their mistakes and provide prompt assistance. Unfortunately, neither The Bowl Company nor Swiggy has met this expectation.
I strongly urge The Bowl Company to improve their food preparation processes and ensure that incidents like this do not happen again. Additionally, I hope that Swiggy can reevaluate their customer service practices and take appropriate steps to assist customers who encounter such issues.
Based on this regrettable experience, I cannot recommend The Bowl Company or Swiggy to others. As a consumer, it is disheartening to face such poor service and lack of accountability.

I’ll break my review down into chunks and the overall review is simply the average of individual chunks.
Taste: 4/5
I’m a VEGETARIAN and most of the vegetarian dishes I’ve tried taste good. Though not the most flavourful and mouth watering of dishes, it’s above average and the quality of ingredients used to prepare the dishes seem to be above average as well.
Portion Size: 3/5
Though there’s quite some room in the bowl in which the food is delivered, the quantity is decent. Though just one of these bowls will not fill your tummy completely, it’s just enough to cure you of your hunger ! The gravy part is just enough to ensure the entire rice can be mixed with it but some more gravy won’t hurt. A little extra gravy can make the dish so much more succulent and a delight to eat. Ultimately portion size simply depends on how much you can stomach and for me personally, they could have given a little more.

Personally I think the items are extremely overpriced for the portion size they give. I only order when there’s 50% off on swiggy ( the whole thing is a scam. Though you think you get 50% off on the dish, taxes, delivery charges and restaurant charges adding to the bill will have a net discount of 30-50 rupees on a 200-300 rupee dish. Occasionally when I’m lazy to go out and think I can buy a Mercedes some day by saving this small amount of money whenever I order, it’s okay)
Hygiene: That’s the biggest factor for these kinds of kitchen based companies like FreshMenu etc. You never know how clean the kitchen and inventory is. I cannot give a rating for this but it’s a good factor to consider whenever you’re ordering from such places.

Agree that price is affordable and its always on offer but the quality is beyond average. Ordered ghee roast rice bowl, rice was ok though overloaded with jeera, but the chicken oh my god. 2 pieces of boneless chicken just simmered in some sweet tasting tomato puree is NOT GHEE ROAST. Freshness above all✨
Ordered peri peri paneer steak burger, ghee roast chicken wrap, mint chaas, crumble blueberry cake from @freshmenu for my lunch and got totally bowled over by the taste and amount of freshness it offers.
Loved each every bite of the burger and the roll was prepared nicely too. The mint chaas was refreshing as well. The blueberry flavour was also coming out well in the dessert cake.
Altogether, it was quite a satiating meal.

Packaging was good and hygienic.
Food taste was OK, as it had too much of oil and taste of paneer was little hard and more like a rubber type, it was stretching, whike eating I did not like BEST in taste… it was good and can be considered an option for the person eating without ginger and garlic..
Price was OK – and as per the dish, it was ok..
It was fresh and hot and taste was maintained..
Overall – i would recommend my people to try once, and conclude on their own, as people have the taste accordingly…
