Informative Initial Consultation ( had booked a free walk in slot ), But Pricing Is on the Higher Side for Follow up and actual sessions.
I visited QUA Nutrition – Ryan Fernando’s Clinic recently and had a good initial consultation. The session included a BMI and body composition analysis, done using a professional device (similar to what you find in many gyms). The dietician offered a detailed explanation of each metric, which helped me understand my current status clearly.
However, the pricing for follow-up plans is very high, and I’d suggest visiting only if you’re comfortable with the costs shared below or if you stay nearby and are just looking to understand your basic metrics from a certified dietician.
If not, a practical alternative would be to visit a nearby gym with similar body composition machines, note down the metrics, and get a standalone consultation elsewhere.

I was having trouble with my weight in spite of eating well and hitting gym regularly. I was worried about my visceral fat, high HBA1C and sleep disorder. Incidentally I saw Ryan Fernando videos on Youtube and I decided about giving a try. I selected Suhasini after reading some of the reviews on her. I chose a 100 day program and it has been 4-5 months since it is over. I have roughly lost 8-10 kgs and my sleeping has become better. After seeing the possible outcome I enrolled my mother and daughter and observed 5-6 kgs of weight loss in my mom. Her diabetes medicine has reduced by half. More importantly we are able to sustain it as we never felt we were starving or loss on energy.
Apart from the diet plan which was based on our eating patterns we were also given supplements. These supplements were mostly vitamins, anti oxidants and inflammatory and not weight reducing in nature. I got them checked from my cousin who is a cardiologist.
These wonderful outcomes were only possible with the expert guidance provided by Suhasini and team. Suhasini treated us with empathy, care and utmost patience and I am very happy to have taken treatment for myself and my family members. Even my son and wife have started eating much healthier than before .
I would also share other aspects to make my feedback balanced. The plans are not very cheap and neither the prescribed supplements. However I take my health as my no. 1 priority and hence this amount is nothing as compared to what I would pay in future so for me it is the best investment. Also you need to follow the diet plan religiously to see the results. However after my course neither I am taking any supplements nor I am following the diet plan but in general I have become aware of my portions and I am choosing healthy options. Yes I do deviate with drinks and parties but come back to the routine the next day.

My lovely hubby came across Dr Ryan Fernando’s work. I contacted Qua Nutrition via WhatsApp & received a prompt response & to begin with to complete blood vitals and DNA testing which was optional. They arranged an initial call with Dr. Dhanashree who explained the programme prior to registration. At first everything sounded promising, but I was apprehensive due to the location, time zone & level of service n would they have the similar knowledge like Dr. Ryan Fernando. I registered for the 3 the months Nutrition plan & as it’s commonly known that our body takes minimum this time to adjust to any changes. My first consultation was via video with Dr. Dhanashree & Dr. Reethika. They were very transparent on what they can & they can’t do. Once I received my Nutrition plan, I was amazed about their professionalism. They noted my current schedule, eating habits, exercise routine, my allergies etc. the plan was intricate. It had detailed information about the calories & weight of each food and overall it was Quality checked. I was bit overwhelmed with this, but a call was arranged to address any queries. It was challenging in the beginning to follow the diet, but my pain was even worse, so a lot of effort was required from my end. Both the Doctors really put their 100% every single time, as they were really passionate about what they do. The communication was excellent via Zoom n WhatsApp calls, it still had the personal touch of excellent service. There were some mornings due to the cold weather, I had difficulty coming out of bed, as I had excruciating pain and my movement was restricted. I was so shattered and thought this plan is also not working. I was dependent on my family to help me with my routine work, as I could not even hold a bottle or lift things or even do chopping due to the weakness in my finger & wrist joints. I am now miles ahead with my walking n exercise routine, then what I was earlier. They really give you value for money and always worked towards the goal I wanted to achieve that is to reduce pain, inflammation, pre diabetic & weight loss. Some days they really encouraged to exercise & boosted my morale. Now it’s matter of time and implementation of diet would show the results. Every morning when I wake up I feel happy and can’t believe where I am today. They are really a great team as cared about what they do, open to my feedback as they listened hard, they took great notes and really came up with some interesting suggestions and tips which was beyond which I expected. I have found both of them were so collaborative, super supportive even when times were tough in terms of pain and other personal issues surrounding it n family responsibilities. They were very good with their planning and very strategic in their approach. Honestly I created a bond with them and how they were integrated with trying to ensure I get best out of the programme they designed. That Implicit trust with them and on hindsight some amount of discipline was required from my end. As living a life without pain or less pain is just an amazing feeling. If you’re considering to go ahead with Qua, I would say try it, if you need results and better quality of life, Qua can help. They can give you unique and specific nutrition plans. I went for my mother. We took 14 day course. We went to them because we didn’t wanted to take English medicine. No doubt they gave a good diet plan but throughout the course they were asking my mother to take English. This was creating stress in my mother about diabetics. They don’t give any moral support. I came across this best dietician in need of reducing my postpartum weight which was taking a toll on my health. I could not even climb stairs nor walk brisk due to my weight. She curated the diet for me in such a way that I never had to worry about cooking. She replied promptly to every question I had and also made changes to my diet as per my need. She kept a track on my diet which made me follow it strictly. I was able to lose 5kgs and today I feel much much lighter. I can climb the stairs easily and I fit into my old clothes Alhamdulillah.
