A speciality andhra restaurant, known for it's meals, also serves North indian, continental, seafood, has a party hall, good parking, staff need to be trained to converse in local language and explain about the specials, menu is elaborate and moderately priced, AC service hall

Pretty ok place for vegetarians. Weekends are crowded, you have to wait. There is no concept of reservation. We opted for the meals and it was typical andhra meals. Service is good, ambience is average. Overall not a must visit, but no harm in going too.

I had an amazing dining experience at Andhra Spice in RR Nagar! The biryani here is truly exceptional – perfectly cooked with just the right amount of spice, fragrant rice, and tender, flavorful meat that’s absolutely delicious. It’s easily one of the best biryanis I’ve had in the area.
The fried fish was another highlight, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned to perfection. It’s a must-try for anyone who loves authentic Andhra flavors. The service was prompt, and the staff were welcoming and attentive. Highly recommend Andhra Spice for anyone craving authentic Andhra cuisine!

Ordered Mutton Biriyani Meals, apart from biriyani rice, the quantity of the sides were less. Every dish tasted average except the Jamoon 🙂 If you love Biriyani, there are better options around. Veg meals is okay just like any other random Andhra meals. Also never order meals here for take away, restaurant looks premium but their packing is the worst and unsafe, hot curries in polythene cover.

Having dined in the kamanna Halli Royal Andhra Spice , we couldn't miss out on it when we happened to see it in RR nagar. We ordered our usual veg mini meals along with two of our favourites - Guntur chicken and Andhra fried chicken, both semi gravy but very different in taste from each other. The Guntur chicken was spicy but delicious with its distinct rich Andhra flavours and cashews! Done to perfection it's a great combination with the meals. The fried chicken is also semi gravy and is very tasty. The portion is more than enough for 2-3 people easily. The service is quick and the ambiance is good too although I love the ambiance of our kamannahalli restaurant more, the taste surely matches up and doesn't disappoint. If you're around there drop in and enjoy an Andhra meal with these side dishes! Definitely worth the visit.
Parking may be a problem on weekends. Not sure if they have valet parking. We went on a weekday and luckily found a spot to park right outside on the roadside.

It's a bit strange. I visit Bangalore, being from the city to visit family. Interestingly, I leave Hyderabad to visit and find that Bangalore has more "Andhra" style restaurants than Hyderabad, based on my observation. Is it the spice? Is it the legacy? And mind you, I am not speaking of the Hyderabadi Biryani which has become an iconi dish. I am speaking of the Guntur, Rayalseema, and what they call Andhra cuisine. Locally curated flavours and spices that are really good .....and can get really spicy!
For us, the "usual" go to places were Nagarjuna, Nandhini Deluxe (now expanded to other forms with a similar name - Nandhana Palace, etc..). Most recently, we stumbled upon Royal Andhra Spice in the South Side of Bangalore. Having been there one or two times, the dish I could recall not getting over was their Non-Veg Meals. Unlike the traditional way a non-veg meal is served where you have 3-4 veg options and 1-2 non-veg items, this non veg meal has 3-4 non veg items, 1-2 veg items and here is the kicker - you get to choose Biryani too!
On this occasion, it was a gathering of cousins that led us to choose a-la-carte. It was a spread that included the classic Chicken Biryani, Tawa Fish Fry (spectacular!) and Andhra Syle Chilli Chicken (Superbly Spicy!). By the way, I have yet to find this similar flavour of Biryani and Chilli Chicken here in Hyderabad, so if you know of a place, please let me know! Additionally Soups were ordered along with regular Dals and Rice. Everyone enjoyed their food and we went out with a happy belly and look forward to another visit soon enough. The highlight in this case being the Tawa Fish Fry - which took time to arrive, but was really well marinated and well prepared! Highly recommended.
As for the ambience, the regular dining downstairs didn't have sufficient space, so we sat at the first floor restaurant called Tycoon. More loungey in nature, with lighting to match, it was okay, nothing spectacular.
Overall, though - I suggest getting their earlier, seating down and going nuts for the variety of Andhra style food available. Be warned, the food gets spicy really quickly!
