Customer Reviews
I visited this place with my friend on a Sunday evening. It was raining heavily so the ambience was cool. There was ample space so we occupied the seat of our choice.
The interior is very pretty, and the best thing they are promoting is NO USE OF MOBILE. They feel that people should communicate rather than being occupied with mobile.
We ordered Veg Sizzlers, Pizza and Mocktails. We felt the taste of Sizzlers better than the Pizza. The order arrived quite quickly but we were served everything together, so unfortunately food became cold as well. The only request from staff is to bring one thing at a time so that the person can enjoy the meals hot.

Disappointing Experience – Poor Food Quality and Lack of Hospitality
We visited Fenny’s on a weekday, hoping for a quieter atmosphere to enjoy a family birthday celebration. Unfortunately, our experience turned out to be quite disappointing.
We placed order with multiple items, but were surprised to find that the chicken platter served was undercooked. While it was described as a barbecue dish, it felt more like it was cooked on a gas stove, lacking the expected texture and flavor. The chicken appeared fine on the outside, but was noticeably raw on the inside. We immediately flagged this to the staff through the app, but received no meaningful response or follow-up, which was quite concerning.
Additionally, we were seated in a top lounge area meant for a small group, but found our space disrupted when a large air cooler was being transported and temporarily stationed right next to us. This unexpected activity affected our privacy and comfort, especially during what was meant to be a special celebration.
Service throughout was slow and unresponsive, even with repeated calls for assistance via the app. On a weekday, we expected a more attentive and hospitable experience, but unfortunately, that was not the case.
This visit fell short of expectations in both food quality and customer service. While the ambiance initially felt promising, the overall execution did not reflect the standards one would hope for. I sincerely hope the management takes feedback seriously and works toward improving both food preparation and the dining experience for future guests.
Fluent Observations (☆ 1/5)

Fenny’s is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to enjoy delicious food in a cozy yet vibrant setting. The restaurant offers a mix of indoor and outdoor seating, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere. Adding to the experience is their unique ordering system, which allows each member of the party to browse and order their favorite dishes individually while keeping the bill unified—a fun and convenient touch.
The Food Experience
We had a variety of dishes, and overall, the experience was outstanding.
⭐ The Star of the Night: Fenny’s BBQ Wings
The absolute best dish was undoubtedly the BBQ Chicken Wings. They were finger-licking good, perfectly cooked, and packed with incredible flavor. In fact, we loved them so much that after ordering three plates initially, we went ahead and ordered three more—yes, they were THAT good!
The Pizza Selection
All the pizzas we tried were excellent, with a perfectly crispy thin crust and high-quality toppings. We had the Chicken pepperoni pizza, BBQ Chicken Pizza, Fenny spicy Chicken Pizza, but the Fenny spicy Chicken Pizza stood out as the best among them. The balance of flavors and the crunch of the crust made it a must-try.
The Steaks & Supreme Chicken
Both the Manzo Pambani Steak and the Fish Steak in Chunky Sauce were cooked to perfection, with the meats being tender and flavorful. The Supreme Chicken with Mushroom Sauce was also delicious, with a creamy and well-balanced sauce complementing the dish beautifully.
Sides & Dessert
The Crispy Potato Wedges were a great side, well-seasoned, and crunchy. To end on a sweet note, the Walnut Sizzler Brownie was a fantastic choice—warm, gooey, and absolutely indulgent.
Final Verdict
Fenny’s is a must-visit if you love good food, a relaxed ambiance, and a cool, tech-savvy ordering experience. While the BBQ prawns missed the mark, everything else was delightful, especially the BBQ wings and pizzas. Highly recommended!

A beautiful roof top resto bar. The ambiance is awesome. When sitting there we can feel that we are in a rustic cafe near the meditaranian cliff.
They perfectly blend the Color pallette texture and furniture in this area.
The food is awesome, especially their meat pizza. I’m a huge fan of their pizza and I visited three times this restaurant to try that one.
amelia peter (☆ 5/5)

Our team had been here for a team lunch, had good varieties of options for both Veg as well as non-veg.
They served and treated well, the taste was great too, the place had some great views and ambience is amazing.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would recommend this place for team lunches and also personal meet ups.
Manjesh C V (☆ 5/5)

Comedy: The most funny thing which I found here is, at the entrance itself they have a chalkboard which states “No WiFi, talk to each other” (pic attached). But they will play such a loud music that you literally have to scream to the other person for them to listen to you
Food: Their non-veg sizzler was really good. Must try!
Atmosphere: As stated above, they really need to reduce the volume of the music a bit. It becomes challenging to converse. But, it’s a good place overall!
Service: For the initial 15 min, nobody came to discuss our order. I had to go to them and call them to our table.

I loved Fenny’s…the space is huge, open, breathable..I loved their chicken-taco salad and butter grilled fish. Lovely dishes.

Customer Reviews
Beautifully located, went here for a girls’ day lunch and the windy seating on a sunny day was just perfect. Service is flawless and the menu has a vast selection, with something for everybody.
I would particularly recommend the gunpowder eggs starter and Dan Dan Noodles.
Vaishnavi Bali (☆ 4/5)

Hello Everyone
5 stars for the atmosphere. It’s worth it guys, just one thing that booking needs to be done in advance for the terrace table. The starters were very nice and that has captured the four star. The main course in the veg I found just okay.
Surya Pratap Singh (☆ 4/5)

Great spot for a team lunch or casual outing. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes are delicious, with a good variety to choose from. The ambience is excellent—spacious, relaxed, and ideal for group gatherings.
Drinks are well made, and the service is prompt. Expect to spend around ₹800–₹1000 per person, depending on your order.
Highly recommended for teams or small get-togethers!
Rahul Dhiman (☆ 4/5)

I remember going to 13th floor in the first decade i was in Bangalore. During late 2007, when i went there last, it was a bit out of my budget and therefore a place rarely one went to.
As the years passed, it slipped from memory as newer places came by.
Last week, i went there again and it rekindled all the good memories.
The food is great, the ambience fantastic and the views unbeatable.
Whether it is the Chinnaswamy stadium all lit up for a match or the Vidhana Soudha in the distance all decked up, with the metro rakes trundling along, it is definitely a must visit.
Still on the expensive side though!
Abhijit Nagendranath (☆ 4/5)

13th Floor, (Barton Centre )is a perfect blend of old-world charm and modern elegance. The moment you step in, the ambience wraps you in nostalgia, beautifully complemented by a soulful, retro song collection that takes you back in time. The vibes are serene yet classy, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed evening. The food is delightful, matching the mood perfectly. A timeless rooftop experience that never goes out of style
Akanksha Gill (☆ 4/5)

The food and drinks are great, and the service is prompt. Whether you’re here for a date night or a casual outing with friends, the vibe and cityscape make it a memorable experience. Highly recommended!

If you ever go to Bangalore and miss this this place you will have to go back and do it over. I loved this place so much, the cocktails are great, the food is fantastic and I was so impressed with the music and sound. We had the best beer, Geist, order three. Our waiter was frendly, helpfull and quick. Did I mention how good the food was! Go on, spoil yourself you deserve it!

Customer Reviews
The experience was good for me. Food was okay as compared to other similar brewery places.
Atmosphere was great as you would get rooftop experience.
I came at lunch time which was not a rush hour. At night it might have public.
Overall the place is good with great service and offers too.
Utkarsh Jha (☆ 3/5)

It’s a compact fancy rooftop lounge cum restaurant. It usually gets crowded in weekends as the sun sets. Variety of food and service offered is decent. Considering the place the cost is on much higher side. We spent around 9k for dining and a few cocktails among four.! It’s recommended to book the table well in advance to get a better placement and view as the seating options are slightly limited.

I visited this restaurant today and found the overall experience to be mixed. While the services and amenities were satisfactory, I was somewhat disappointed with the quality of the food. I ordered vegetarian items including Papad, Baby Corn Manchurian, and Mughlai Biryani. Additionally, I tried the Orange Blossom from the drinks menu, which featured a buy-one-get-one-free offer.
Biryani is too oily and baby corn Manchurian is too hard. Papad is waste of money.
Dharmendra v (☆ 4/5)

We ordered nachos, palak paneer, veg kadhai, tandoori roti, rice, ghar ki dal, fruit punch and passion punch. I personally loved palak paneer, fruit punch and nachos a lot! The rest was also great. Biplob was quite polite and promptly serviced our orders. There was a huge group partying on the rooftop beside us some of whom got really drunk and nudged our table a couple of times although there was plenty of room on their side. Biplob got them to move away from our table politely without us having to ask him to. I really appreciated it. Although the decor downstairs is nice, the rooftop and the view from there is quite pretty!
Sitadevi Muthkhod (☆ 5/5)

It was such a great place . So many options for vegeterians , also shivam was a dedicated member made our dining experience truly memorable .
Kavita Tewari (☆ 5/5)

Visited this place on a Friday evening with a couple of friends, I was expecting a lot of people to be there but we were the only ones although crowd did start to gather after a while. We ordered a veg Alfredo pasta, veg 3 cheese lasagna and a chicken Alfredo pasta. The chicken in the chicken Alfredo pasta was undercooked and upon letting the staff know about this they said that it’s an Italian dish so the chicken will be like this, so if you’re planning to order this please inform them while ordering to cook the chicken accordingly. The other two pasta’s were good.

Located on the 31st floor of the World Trade Centre, the panoramic view of Bangalore was absolutely stunning—especially around sunset. The music was upbeat but not too loud, which made it easy to have a conversation.
The pizza was just palatable, nachos were good.

A Perfect Spot for Rooftop Lovers Like Me!
High Ultra Lounge had been catching my eye for a while, and I finally got to experience it on a Thursday night. We booked a table via Zomato and got 50% off on the bill such a great deal!
We came from HSR, about an hour’s drive, and reached around 9 PM. The weather was windy and cold, but thankfully it wasn’t too crowded. We got a table with a stunning view absolutely magical!
There are three sections: two open-air and one indoor with a bar and DJ. We tried the pizza and another dish were really good. The staff were a bit busy and it took around 15–20 minutes for the food to arrive, but they were extremely friendly and super helpful especially when it came to taking photos! They patiently helped us capture some amazing shots, which made the experience even more memorable.
Now, let’s talk about the view, it’s mind-blowing. The whole city lights up beneath you, and if you love heights like I do, this place feels like a dream. Even the transparent elevator ride up is exciting you can see the city rise below you as you go higher.
A few tips:
• They’re open till 1 AM, but food orders close around 12 midnight.
• There’s free parking right opposite the World Trade Center building. You’ll need to walk a few meters, but the path has a fountain and a nice vibe a lovely little walk before you enter.
If you love high places, night lights, rooftop vibes, and taking lots of photos — High Ultra Lounge is a must-visit. Can’t wait to go again!
Vignesh Balakrishna (☆ 4/5)

The prices here are as high as the building, but unfortunately, the service is nowhere close to matching that standard. If I could rate their service in the negatives, I would—but sadly, Google doesn’t allow that.
The waiters seemed more interested in staring at the female guests than actually doing their jobs. It took them over 20 minutes just to bring us the menu, and honestly, if we hadn’t asked, I doubt we would’ve gotten it at all.
We were here to celebrate a special occasion, but the experience was a huge letdown. The only saving grace was the food, which thankfully tasted good.
I genuinely hope the management invests in proper training for the staff—because right now, the waiters seem completely clueless about what they’re serving or how to treat guests with basic respect.
OffTheGrid (☆ 1/5)

Earlier this was such a happening place when I went in 2019, but it has lost its charm since that time. They are still working hard I guess to maintain everything and that’s why I feel I should rate it 4 stars.
I believe the service to be a bit inattentive and slow.
I ordered something else and waited for a long time just to get something which I didn’t order. The waiter was polite but he didn’t note it down and the whole order came wrong. But anyways we adjusted.
The overall ambience is good. It’s a really good restaurant but I don’t know why I had this experience.
Because it’s a 5* place I expected it to be much better. I was obviously disappointed.
Now about the food.
It was all really tasty and well prepared. Hats off to the chef. Whatever we ordered took time but it was worth waiting for. Really great recipes prepared and presented really well.
I loved the food. But the experience, I believe it could improve much further.
Utkarsh Verma (☆ 4/5)

Good ambience, the place is smaller than expected. Great views of the city, especially at night. Food was very average. I must say that the service was very bad in my visit. Looked like they were understaffed. I visited the place for a certain occasion and had a very disappointing experience.

Spice Terrace provides a genuinely upscale dining experience. The ambiance is carefully curated, fostering a sense of relaxed luxury. Service consistently receives high marks, with staff demonstrating attentiveness and a clear commitment to ensuring guests feel well cared for. It’s a place designed for celebrations and special occasions where you want to feel pampered.
While the cuisine leans towards North Indian flavors, the presentation and quality of ingredients elevate it beyond a typical restaurant. The portions are appropriate for the price point, and the setting, often with poolside views, adds significantly to the overall feeling of indulgence. A strong emphasis on customer satisfaction appears to be a priority.

I had an exceptional dining experience at Spice Terrace and would like to sincerely appreciate the entire team for their outstanding service and hospitality.
A special thanks to Manager Prabhu for his warm and professional demeanor, keen attention to detail, and ensuring everything was perfect throughout our visit. His leadership clearly reflects in the way the team operates—efficiently, courteously, and with genuine care.
The staff were equally commendable—polite, attentive, and always serving with a smile. They made us feel truly welcomed and taken care of, elevating the overall dining experience.
The ambiance, food quality, and overall vibe at Spice Terrace were top-notch. It’s clear that a lot of effort goes into creating such a memorable guest experience.
Highly recommended, and I look forward to visiting again soon.

Mocktails were unique
Anwesha Sen (☆ 5/5)

We went to celebrate our anniversary here, really nice place to have simple dinner. I would like to mention a few things:
> Food options are limited to North Indian cuisine. That too very less options to choose from. (Vegetarian perspective)
> Food and Drinks are very costly, but that was expected as the quality of service is also very high.(2k+ per person)
> Service is very good, we were well attended. (They gave us free cake for anniversary celebration)
> Ambiance is good too, but could have been better in my view. (Comparing it with newly opened themed breweries)
> Portion size of dishes are adequate and it was as expected.
> They close the place very early (last order @ 10:30PM), so better plan and go accordingly.
Overall nice place to go for dinners, not for Instagramable pictures but to actually enjoy the company of people you are going with.
Aditya Sharma (☆ 5/5)

I came to restaurant with not a lot of expectations and was hoping I would like atleast one item but unfortunately the food was very underwhelming. The taste was really bland and too citrusy. The only saving grace in the whole dinner was that the meat was cooked well.
In the end I was hoping the desserts will save the meal but they were really mediocre as well. I went with the previous reviews but now I feel either they’ve never really tasted a good meal before or the restaurant chose to go with bland citrusy food just for tonight. Service was good but everything else was just below par. To other people reading this, please save your time and find somewhere else to eat.
Achin Sindhava (☆ 2/5)

Spice terrace offers an unparalleled dining experience with a breathtaking view of the Kingfisher Tower. While it comes with a hefty price tag, the luxurious ambiance, impeccable service, and exquisite cuisine make it a worthwhile splurge.
Zaid Raza Khan (☆ 4/5)

The Spice terrace is really an awesome place.
Ambience is classy and soothing.
The place will surely give you the good vibes and the view.
This is basically a poolside restaurant.
If you get a chance please book/take the table near to the pool….. that will be amazing
Talking about food taste is average not too good I can say(vegetarian).
Food is very much pricey as it’s an luxury place but as per the taste and quality it’s unfair.
Food: ⭐⭐⭐
Service was good and staff was attentive: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Ambience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐++
nikhil sharma (☆ 5/5)

The food is decent – although the breads can be better. The ambiance is mostly good – it’s nice to dine by the pool. But the service is quite bad – on my previous visit I thought they were just having a rough day. But it was much worse today.
We had to call whatever staff we saw to our table to ask for absolutely anything- including our first fill of water. They delayed the breads so much that our main course got totally cold. At this point, it was pointless to expect the warm treatment you expect at a 5-star hotel of Marriot brand.
Regular restaurants have much, much better service. The whole point of going to a high-end hotel is to be treated well. That is clearly lost on this hotel’s staff and management.

Customer Reviews
I recently visited Once in a Rooftop in Bangalore, and it was an absolute delight! The ambience is stunning, with a breathtaking rooftop view that adds to the charm of the place. The dim lighting, cozy seating, and lively music create the perfect setting for a relaxing evening. Whether you’re catching up with friends or on a date, the vibe here is just right. The service was prompt, and the staff was courteous, making sure we had a great experience.
Coming to the food, the menu offers a mix of global and Indian flavors, and everything we tried was spot on. The Peri Peri Chicken Wings were a highlight—crispy, spicy, and full of flavor. The Pasta Alfredo was creamy and well-balanced, and the signature cocktails were refreshing, especially the Mango Chili Martini. The pricing is reasonable for the quality and experience, making it worth a visit. If you’re looking for a rooftop spot in Bangalore with great food and a fantastic vibe, this place should be on your list!
Soumya kamagiri (☆ 5/5)

If you’re looking for a great place in South Bangalore that won’t burn a hole in your pocket, Once Upon a Rooftop Restobar is a solid choice. The rooftop ambience is perfect for a relaxed evening with friends or even a casual family outing.
The food menu has a good mix of options, from regional and coastal dishes to tandoor, pasta, pizza, and Chinese. The finger foods starting at ₹49 are a steal, and the portion sizes are decent. The bar menu is also quite affordable, with shots starting at just ₹99, making it a great spot for budget-friendly outings.
Service is prompt, and the staff is friendly. The overall vibe is lively, and it’s a good spot for students, families, and corporate groups alike. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and looking for good food, drinks, and a chill rooftop setting.
Khete Bhalobashi (☆ 5/5)

Ambience is not good. I had ordered egg bhurji, salad. Which I felt less in quantity.
Service was good. I visited in the afternoon. There was no people. Hygenie needs to be maintained. I didn’t feel it’s clean and Hygenie.
Mahesh Shanbhag (☆ 4/5)

Jayanagar’s ultimate hangout spot, where great food, amazing drinks, and a stunning rooftop vibe come together! Enjoy finger foods starting at just ₹49, pocket-friendly bar prices, and shots from ₹99. Indulge in a variety of cuisines—from regional and coastal flavors to tandoor, Indian, pizza, pasta, and Chinese delights. Whether you’re a student on a budget, a family looking for a great dining experience, or a corporate team out for a treat, this is the place to be! Good food, great drinks, and an unforgettable rooftop experience—come over and make every evening special.
Maaz Khan (☆ 5/5)

Great food at affordable prices! All starters under ₹149, small plates from ₹49 – perfect for students & budget foodies. Loved the Fish Fingers, Brownie with Ice Cream, and the Pizza – unlike any I’ve had before!
The rooftop ambience is perfect for chilling. Definitely a must-visit in Jayanagar!
Ishita (☆ 5/5)

Once Upon a Rooftop Restrobar is a spacious and well-located venue offering two levels of seating. The upper level features a closed terrace with open railings, providing a semi-open-air experience, and also includes a designated smoking area. The food is flavorful and enjoyable, complemented by attentive and polite service, making for a pleasant dining experience.
However, the ambiance could use some enhancement. While the terrace setup has potential, the plants, which are a key part of its decor, appear neglected, with some dried out, detracting from the overall vibe. A little more attention to detail in maintaining the interiors could elevate the experience further.
It’s still a decent spot for an outing, especially if you’re looking for good food and a relaxed rooftop vibe, but there’s room for improvement to make it more inviting.
Hitesh- Moving Around (☆ 3/5)

I recently went to once upon a rooftop in jayanagar and i had amazing time. Their menu starts at just Rs 49 and everything is very budget friendly. The ambiance is top notch. I will recommend to try this cafe once to have an amazing experience

Good hangout spot in the centre of town. The ambience is great with lovely views around and can be used for a lunch or evening outing . The taste of the food could be better , while they make up with their service and atmosphere all around . The cocktails are decent .

Honestly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a while. The ambiance was super cozy and the staff were really polite and attentive. I tried the chef’s special and it did not disappoint — full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Even the drinks were on point. Definitely coming back here with friends. Highly recommend!

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a cozy atmosphere that set the tone for the evening. The service was outstanding—attentive without being intrusive. Every dish we ordered was a masterpiece, from the perfectly seasoned appetizers to the rich, flavorful main courses. The ingredients tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared, and the presentation was beautiful.
I highly recommend trying their signature dish—it’s a flavor explosion you won’t forget! We left completely satisfied and already planning our next visit. This place is a hidden gem and easily one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time!

Night Owl – One of the best places near MG road to enjoy peaceful evenings
Located near Ulsoor Lake opp to Conrad , the two storey space has spectacular view for the Conrad..Loved the rooftop seating which is peaceful & best enjoyed in the Bangalore evenings with breeze 🙂
Coming to food, Chef has done really good job in showcasing the regular dishes in a whole different level.
Dont miss the Seafood Rasam if you are seafood lover.. That is pretty awesome.
De constructed Veg vada Pav , Dal makhni tart, chicken stuffed Naans are the best to order… Appreciate the fact as how chef made the regular dishes look different by recreating them to make things interesting
Honestly didnt have good expectations for the chilly chicken biryani here.. But thanks to the Chef & team – Biryani was unique & tasted really good after drinks..#Recommended
Mocktails were okayish, but the chocolate based drinks were pretty good, esp the brownie shake & the oreo shake.

A small and cosy place for having a good time with friends and acquaintances. It is a rooftop setup with good ambience and decor. However, the customer service needs to be more rapid and fast. The food quality is satisfactory and prices are quite economical in nature.

Ambiance is fantastic!! The rooftop seating is just brilliant.
The DJ started playing English hits post 7pm.
All the items we ordered were very tasty.
Service was very good. Staff were really courteous.
Pricing is on the higher side.
18% GST was quite disappointing. On top of that there is 10% service charge.

Great ambiance. If you get evening as in Bangalore and some place like to sit and chill directly under the sky is a different experience. This place offers limited seats but very beautifully decorated. You get food and drinks. This place also has a swimming pool and it’s super cool. Employees here are friendly. I am giving a four star just because the delay in service, but believe me you will enjoy even just sitting there with a booze.
Rohit Kumar (☆ 4/5)

Reservations are a must for weekends. This place is excellent for a date night or just for a relaxing weekend night; not loud and very serene with a very good view of the city. There are little pillers with fire pits inside them which sets the mood and gives you warmth on cold and windy nights if you get a seat next to one of them. The tent booths are large enough for groups but sitting in them can make you very cold so remember to get a jacket. And ofcourse they have very hygienic and we’ll maintained bathrooms. The good is excellent and drinks are very good. It’s a recommended place and I would visit again.
Deepika Mallya (☆ 5/5)

Amazing ambience ,hospitality is top notch… I don’t think I have got any demerits for this place… For summers since they cannot place ac…. If you want to have some romantic roof top dinners….. This is a highly recommended place. The place is really nice, kinda pricey but they serve enough.

The perfect place to view the sunset and also catch up with friends during the week over drinks; ALT is poised to become the hottest new nightspot to meet the standards of Bengaluru’s affluent.
Worth the time and money! Good location and equally good service and ambience!

Worst Holi party ever.
1. No unlimited colours as advertised
2. No water guns
3. No pichkaries
4. No water balloons
5. Doubled food and beverage prices after seeing crowd
6. One spoon of biriyani and no pieces for ₹300
7. ₹50 for 500ml of water and that too got over
8. No place to sit or stand as it was jam packed.
9. ₹2000+ per head and still no proper management
PRAS (☆ 1/5)

Went there for a birthday celebration. I should say place is mind blowing. It is a rooftop restaurant with pool. Also the view is mind blowing . Can come here for a romantic dinner or something like that.
But food was totally down. They don’t have much options for vegetarians. I could find hardly 6-8 options for vegetarians. I was disappointed with the food. They have brewery. Beer was good as per my husband and others.

Staff are reported to be attentive and friendly, contributing positively to the overall atmosphere and ensuring a pleasant interaction for patrons.
While the menu offers a variety of dishes, it’s worthwhile to note that service can sometimes be a little slow. The food quality appears to be decent, with many options available, and parking is readily accessible, primarily within the Ibis Hotel’s basement.

Small and pretty place. We tried the Rajma Galouti Kebab, Chicken Schezwan Fried Noodles, Butter Chicken Wala Kebab, Cheese French Fries, and more. The service from Tasrif was really good, such a kind man and the overall food was decent but the pizza wasn’t that great, they also gave us regular Chicken Fried Rice instead of the Schezwan, but it was still good.
The view from the top isn’t very clear , they’ve added full grills maybe for safety, but it blocks the open feel, there’s open street-side space available, or you can park inside the Ibis basement or the side , it’s free.
The washrooms were a bit smelly.

KA.01 Rooftop Bar and Eats – A Cozy Hangout with a Bengaluru Twist
Located near Kanteerava Stadium, close to Ibis Hotel on Rajaram Mohan Roy Road, KA.01 Rooftop Bar and Eats is a cozy little spot with a great vibe. The ambiance is fantastic, offering a relaxed rooftop setting that’s perfect for an evening out with friends.
The food is flavorful, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options tasting great. The cocktails are uniquely named after Bengaluru’s local areas, adding a fun and nostalgic touch to the experience. However, the prices are on the higher side compared to similar places in the city.
One of the standout aspects is the service—the staff is fast and friendly, ensuring a pleasant experience.
Overall, KA.01 is a good place to unwind, but the pricing might make you think twice if you’re looking for a budget-friendly outing. It’s worth a visit for the ambiance and creative drinks!

The service was really bad & food was also very bland. Only the fried rice was good rest I was disappointed with the prawns & other sides.
jeffin jose (☆ 2/5)

The food quality was extremely disappointing, and the service was one of the worst I’ve experienced. Despite seeing many positive reviews, our experience did not match those at all—making me question their authenticity. We ordered food and drinks as soon as we arrived, yet it took 45 minutes to be served, even though the restaurant was not busy. Overall, a very disappointing experience. Definitely not recommended!

KA01 Rooftop Bar and Eats is located on the 8th floor of IBIS, Bengaluru City Centre, Raja Ram Mohan Roy Rd. There are many vegetarian dishes available. Some of the palatable dishes are: Tandoori Soya Chaap, Aloo Pyaz Chur Chur Paratha, Kulfi, etc.
Here is my experience at KA01 –
>Amazing ambience as it is on the rooftop!
>Servers and cooks are polite and friendly.
>Food is prepared fresh and pleasant.
>Long wait time of orders – this is a drawback!
>Plenty of parking is available at IBIS.

Frequently Asked Questions about Rooftop Restaurants in Bangalore
What makes rooftop restaurants in Bangalore so popular?
Rooftop restaurants in Bangalore have gained immense popularity due to a combination of factors. They offer a unique dining experience that combines delicious food with stunning city views. The opportunity to enjoy a meal or drinks amidst the bustle of Bangalore, while elevated above the chaos, is a particularly appealing draw. The atmosphere often includes pleasant weather and a sense of escape.
Are rooftop restaurants suitable for all weather conditions?
While most rooftop restaurants try to mitigate weather challenges, they are inherently more exposed than indoor dining spaces. During the monsoon season (typically June to September), some may have limited seating or be temporarily closed due to heavy rain. Most restaurants offer some form of covered area, but it's wise to check the weather forecast and inquire about seating options before you visit. Some also offer heating during cooler periods.
What is the typical price range for dining at a rooftop restaurant?
The price range varies significantly depending on the restaurant's ambiance, cuisine, and location. Generally, you can expect to pay more than at a standard restaurant. Budget-friendly options might range from ₹800 to ₹1500 per person, while more upscale establishments can easily exceed ₹3000 per person, especially when considering drinks and appetizers. Checking the restaurant's menu online is recommended before your visit.
Do rooftop restaurants in Bangalore generally accept reservations?
Yes, most popular rooftop restaurants strongly encourage or even require reservations, especially on weekends and during peak hours. Due to limited seating and high demand, booking ahead ensures you secure a spot and avoid disappointment. Many use online reservation platforms or take reservations via phone or email. Prompt booking is key to a guaranteed table.
What types of cuisine can I typically find at rooftop restaurants?
The variety of cuisines offered is quite extensive. You're likely to encounter options ranging from North Indian and South Indian to Continental, Italian, Asian Fusion, and even Mediterranean fare. Many restaurants cater to a wide range of tastes, offering something for everyone. It’s beneficial to research the menu beforehand based on your culinary preferences.
Are rooftop restaurants in Bangalore generally accessible for people with disabilities?
Accessibility can be a significant factor. Many older buildings in Bangalore, including those housing rooftop restaurants, may have limited accessibility features like ramps or elevators. It is highly recommended to contact the restaurant directly to inquire about accessibility options before planning a visit. Some may offer alternative arrangements, while others may have significant limitations.
What is the dress code typically enforced at these establishments?
While not always strictly enforced, most rooftop restaurants prefer a smart casual dress code. You’re unlikely to be turned away for casual attire, but avoid overly revealing or extremely casual clothing like very short shorts or flip-flops. A well-presented look is generally appreciated and enhances the overall dining experience. It’s a good idea to check the restaurant’s website or social media for specific guidelines.
What about the view – can I guarantee a good view from every table?
While most rooftop restaurants boast scenic views, the actual view from your table can vary. Some tables may have obstructed views due to architectural features or other patrons. Requesting a table with a specific view when making a reservation is a reasonable request, but it cannot always be guaranteed. Early bookings often have better opportunities for preferred seating.
What is the best time of day to visit a rooftop restaurant?
The "best" time depends on your preferences. For daytime views, consider visiting during the late morning or early afternoon. For a romantic evening, sunset offers stunning visual appeal, but can be the most crowded. Nighttime offers a different perspective with the city lights. Consider checking reviews and social media photos to get a sense of what the ambiance is like at different times.
Are there any restrictions on photography at rooftop restaurants?
Most rooftop restaurants welcome photography to showcase the ambiance and cuisine. However, they may have restrictions regarding flash photography, especially during peak hours or when other guests are present. Always be mindful of other diners and avoid blocking views while taking pictures. Some restaurants may explicitly prohibit photography for privacy reasons, so it’s wise to inquire beforehand.
