I had the best tattoo experience at Sculp Tattoo! The studio is beautiful and welcoming and the vibe created by Karthik and Praveen is immaculate. I love Karthik’s work (@he_artist on Instagram) and asked him to design me a butterfly in his style. He whipped up this beautiful custom design on the spot and I was absolutely floored! He reflected my energy and essence in this badass design. He is a true artist. It’s clear that he really sees people and can capture something special and unexpected about you in his designs. I loved encountering a desi artist who has studied so many Indian art styles and infused them into their work. Big shout out to Praveen and Kavish who supported the process in between other clients and made me and my friends feel absolutely at home in the studio. Initially, I visited a place based on a few recommendations, but my experience there was so traumatic, I hadn't even gotten the tattoo yet. After stepping out, I Googled other options and ended up choosing Sculp, and I’m so thankful I did. My BFF, as usual, made the perfect choice, proving once again that she never steers me wrong. We called late at night, and Karthik welcomed us warmly, telling us to come in. From the moment I stepped in, I felt at ease. The entire ambiance, the music, the vibe— it all screamed art and tranquility. It felt like the perfect space for me. I wanted a tattoo that would connect me to my father, and Karthik took all the stories I shared and turned them into a simple yet meaningful design. Watching me enjoy the tattoo process so much, my BFF, in a moment of impulse, decided to get one too— on her lower waist. We’ve been friends for 10 years, and this is the first (and last) time she’ll make such a spontaneous decision! And surprisingly ,she loved it, and we ended up stretching their entire weekend evening. Now, I can’t imagine going anywhere else. The tattoo has healed really well and the healing process was perfectly normal. Firstly, their response was prompt and things moved along well in the planning and scheduling. I had to unfortunately reschedule once on my end and they were very accommodating ( this wasn't a last minute reschedule, don't do that. It's mean and inconsiderate) Karthik understood exactly what I wanted and really took my references and ideas into consideration while also keeping true to his style (which is why I chose this place to begin with) The studio is gorgeous, filled with art and super clean. Everyone's really chill and professional. I would definitely recommend Sculp for bigger tattoos. They have some really good artists and some unique flash designs as well. Any tattoo you get here is worth every bit of your money. The entire team was very helpful and loved the entire process of collaborating on a design together. Unlike other tattoo studios, they don't enforce their design and sizing on you, but actually listen and do what you want. We got inked by Yuvraj, and he did a damn good job! He spent 3 hours designing the tattoo and didn't complain at all on any feedbacks. He introduced me to Praveen and made him hear my thoughts as well. It gave him and Praveen an idea of what I wanted to get. When the initial design idea came up, I was not very happy. So, I request Karthik if we can work on another design I had in mind. He calmly asked me to come on the appointment day and talk to Praveen about it. On the day of the tattoo appointment, I conveyed my new design idea, and within minutes, Praveen was ready with his custom design, which would be done exclusively on my skin only. This is what Sculp specializes in. They ensure no two designs on two different people are similar. Every person is unique and so are their tattoos. The memories of my first tattoo and the tattoo artist are forever etched in my mind and heart.
