I’ve visited many restaurants, but I’ve never experienced service quite like this one. Our waiter, ANWAR, was truly professional and talented — I sincerely appreciate his kindness and attentiveness. The staff even celebrated my birthday with an amazing live band that performed a joyful song just for me. It was such a special and unforgettable moment. I highly recommend anyone visiting Barcelona to stop by this restaurant. Their seafood was incredibly fresh and clean everything was of the highest quality. A beautiful and memorable dining experience!

Botafumeiro é um restaurante clássico de Barcelona, pra ocasiões especiais, caro. Peixes e frutos do mar frescos e ingredientes sazonais. Recomendado! O local é bem típico de Barcelona. Ambiente chique e bem frequentado. Oferece salas privadas. Vale a pena fazer reserva.

This place is magic, the staff especially Jonathan were awesome, the food was outstanding and it was just a great experience from going into the front door until we left. You will need to book and they take a deposit and you will need to be prepared to spend a bit! The cocktails are very good but super pricey

Secondo me doveva essere specificato. Abbiamo preso la paella e un litro di sangria con una bottiglietta di acqua. La paella era molto buona con tanto pesce di ottima qualità. Anche la sangria era buona. I prezzi sono sicuramente alti adeguati al locale

A must-visit for anyone who enjoys Mangalorean cuisine! We ordered kokum juice, solkadi, anjal tawa fry, mango fish curry, prawns ghee roast, neer dose, and white rice – all for two people. Solkadi – a traditional appetizer made with kokum, coconut milk, and spices, was something I tried for the first time. It was absolutely amazing – the burst of masala followed by the soothing flavor of coconut milk made it a standout drink. The food was delicious, with an authentic Mangaluru taste. It was perfectly balanced – not too spicy, not too bland. The portions were generous, and the pricing was very reasonable. We paid ₹1428 in total, which is great value for the quality and quantity of food served. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, with charming details like paintings of fishermen and women dressed in traditional coastal sarees, giving it a warm, coastal vibe. Cons: There’s usually a waiting time of at least 15-20 minutes. But it’s well worth the wait!

An authentic Coastal Kanara Speciality Seafood Restaurant, situated on the second floor of Skywalk, Halasuru in Namma Bengaluru. This Restaurant serves an amazing array of Coastal delicacies which includes Fishes, Prawns, Squids, Clams and Crabs. Plenty of Starters to choose from and so many choices in main courses too. We ordered plenty of items which included Chicken Ghee Roast (Rs.230), Prawn Ghee Roast (Rs. 340), Chicken Lollipop ( 7 pieces for just Rs. 180), Kaaney Rava Fry ( 3 full fishes for Rs. 320), Chicken Mootlies ( One full bowl for Rs.260), Neer dosas ( amazing hot neer dosas, two for Rs. 30), Red Rice, White Rice, Mangalorean Raw Mango Boneless fish Curry (Rs.295), Vegetarian Potraday curry, Kokum juice, Lemon Soda, Solkadi and Caramel Custard. The taste was subtle but the neer dosas with prawn ghee roast is a not to be missed item here. The prawns were big and juicy. Though the crowd was huge, the service was very efficient. There were plenty of seats outside for the waiting customers and once you enter the dining area, the aroma of seafood used to engulf you. The ambience was a little bit cramped and the chillness was low because of the huge Sunday Crowd. If you are a Sea food lover and like to taste Mangalorean delicacies, don’t miss this place. Again we visited for lunch on a weekday, as usual great food, excellent service and a purse friendly menu. This time, we tried Brinjal Fry ( The best one), Sannas, Ragi Manni, Mangalore Prawn Curry in addition with the other not to be missed items like Neer dosas, Chicken Ghee Roast and Chicken lollipop, Just around 2k for an authentic Mangaluru Cuisine for four members. This is a real gem indeed.

Awesome tasty sea food. Authentic Mangalore style dish. Very reasonably priced. Fast service. Heavily crowded on weekends. Expect to wait for 15-40 minutes. But it’s worth the wait. Atmosphere is different. Do not expect premium ambience, but it gives you good feel in a small setup. Taste over rides anything else here. Must visit for sea food lovers.

My Instagram feed knew exactly what I needed! A food influencer I follow posted a reel about this restaurant just when I was craving sannas. I couldn’t resist visiting and was instantly transported to a culinary haven. The sannas and pork sarpotel felt like home, and the prawn ghee roast, neer dosa, and bread pudding were the perfect accompaniments. I’m already counting down the days until my next visit – the food is too delicious to resist, and the prices are just right!

I had neer dosa(₹30/plate) paired with an excellent prawns ghee roast (₹350), a pretty good chicken sukkha (₹250) and a good bangda rawa fry (₹160). I also had kookum juice (₹50) which was amazing. The highlight was the prawns ghee roast though, it was just spectacular. It’s expensive, the quantity may not be plenty but it had 12 big prawns and along with the ghee roast masala and neer dosa it was one of the best ghee roasts I have eaten!

I think it is one of the best coastal cuisines so far in Bangalore. All the items that were ordered were great. They even show you the fish/crab and also you can select the curry out of 8 flavours of curries. The staff are very attentive. Ambience calm but tightly spaced, but given the service and food quality you can ignore that. Price is little on the higher side but justifies the quality and taste.

Brilliant service by Mr. Prashant. Prompt and on time. Brilliant taste. Kudos to Mr. Bijay the Chef. Been to multiple Kerala joints here in Bangalore. All in all a wonderful place to dine. Thanks team. Will see you again. Wishing you the best.

Had a fantastic dining experience with friends at this restaurant. We had an amazing food and exceptional service! The staff were warm and welcoming, The food was truly authentic Kerala cuisine, and we loved every bite! One of the highlights was the Karimeen pollichathu with Kerala parotta – absolutely divine! We also enjoyed the payasam, coconut pudding, and mango chatti curry with rice. They change the variety in payasam on daily bases. However, the restaurant does offer options for vegetarians, which is a plus. This spot has become one of my favorites for Kerala food, and I love heading here for Sunday lunch. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service is good. Highly recommend!” This restaurant is my go-to spot for a delicious and satisfying Sunday lunch!

Fort Cochin – Honest Review Pros: • Good Ambience: The setting and atmosphere were pleasant and welcoming. • Popular Spot: It seems to attract a crowd, especially on weekends. Cons: • Poor Service: The staff lacked clarity about the menu and kitchen availability. Many items were unavailable, and the waiter kept saying “no” to almost everything we asked for—even at 12 PM on a Sunday. • Disorganized Management: No coordination between the kitchen and front staff; disappointing for a place of this repute. • Overhyped Experience: The food taste was average and didn’t live up to the hype. • Menu Confusion: The menu needs more clarity, and real-time availability of items should be better communicated.

I recently visited this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and it was a great choice for sure! It is located 100 feet road Indiranagar. Coming to the food, we ordered avoli masala fry, Mutton khosha, Chicken ghee roast and Coconut Pudding. The ghee roast was good, and could be better with a better mix of spices. The mutton khosa was pretty decent too, specially the masala which was well prepared and took me back to the lanes of oddisa. The mutton pieces were mouth watering. Chicken ghee roast was tasty, with its tangy and spicy flavour making up a good and quite different gravy. You should definitely try it if you are looking to enjoy the chicken in a different flavour altogether. The appam was amazing and it complimented the other dishes quite well. The coconut pudding is one of their best cheff made desserts. Overall, a decent place to enjoy seafood cuisine in Bangalore. Special mention to the polite, courteous and helpful staff! The service is really quick and we were done with our meal within an hour. The restaurant had no waiting time as well. and their sadhya must try .

Absolutely disgusting experience. We ordered fish curry with porotta and deeply regret it. The porotta felt like it was readymade or reheated — dry, rubbery, and tasteless. The fish curry, although labelled “Alleppey style,” was extremely sour and unpleasant. But the worst part? We found a COCKROACH in the curry. That’s not just unhygienic, it’s revolting. We stopped eating immediately and lost all appetite. This place clearly has zero standards for cleanliness or quality. Serving insects in food is absolutely unacceptable and dangerous. Will never return and will make sure none of our friends or family step into this place. Avoid at all costs unless you want food poisoning or worse.

Meals was good, they had brown rice too. Veg curries and sambar were good. Fish was spicy and salty but when I requested, they changed it and made less spicy. But it was little undercooked. Sweets and buttermilk were being served in disposable paper cups and when I requested for it to be served in reusables, they said they didn’t have reusable cups. Kindly start using reusable cutleries as it’s not good for environment. Please don’t sell water in disposable bisleri bottles. Overall food was decent but overpriced. For the meals and fish, it cost Rs. 875 in total.

The food at Fort Cochin was just okay – nothing particularly special. While the ambiance was decent, the prices felt too high for the quality and quantity served. Not the best value for money. Might not visit again unless there are some improvements.

I’ve visited this restaurant multiple times and they are almost always on point with their service. They are extremely consistent with their taste and quality of food. The most sought after and recommended are the kerala meals on banana leaves. They have a wide array of fish dishes that mostly taste good. The restaurant is a must try if one loves seafood. One time their manager called in sick and you could clearly see the chaos and dissatisfied looks on customers faces. But all in all one of the best (alongside Paragon) kerala food experiences for me in all of Bangalore city.

They offer authentic Kerala cuisine, and my favorite dish there is the Raw Mango Fish Curry. The Fish Curry and Appam combination is a delightful feast, although the Appam is slightly on the sweet side. I also tried the Chicken Putt and Prawns Putt, mostly to pair them with the complimentary Fish Curry gravy. Additionally, the staff deserves a mention for their excellent behavior.

A Delightful Surprise on Our Special Day! We accidentally discovered this wonderful restaurant while out with family on our wedding anniversary — and what an amazing experience it turned out to be! The warm ambiance, friendly staff, and delicious food made the evening truly memorable. To top it all off, they had the IPL Final playing live, and we got to watch RCB WINNING THE TROPHY — it couldn’t have been more perfect! The atmosphere was electric, and the entire place celebrated together like one big family. A big thank you to the team for making our special day even more unforgettable. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back!

I won’t lie the food for me was best . I was about to order crab but unlucky they don’t have it. And also I wish they would have informed me at the earliest that the restro is going to close by 3.30pm noon. But they didn’t info me about it,yet they told me to sit back till 3.45pm noon but I did my best to leave at the earliest.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing from start to finish. We arrived on time for our reservation but were left waiting over 20 minutes with no explanation. Once seated, it took another 15 minutes just to get water and menus. The server seemed overwhelmed and inattentive, forgetting our drink order and mixing up our entrees. When the food finally arrived, it was lukewarm and over flavor—definitely not worth the price. My biryani was overcooked, prawns were full of spice and chicken was okay okay the salad was not fresh at all. To top it off, the atmosphere was noisy, the tables were cramped, and the restroom was in dire need of cleaning. We left feeling frustrated and unsatisfied. With so many great places to eat, I won’t be returning or recommending this one to anyone

Visited this place with family. The ambience is good, good hygiene maintained. Staff are friendly but service is very slow. Though we ordered everything at once, we had to wait for longer to get each dish.. Good to try Anjal tawa fry, kane masala fry, and prawn ghee roast. Neer dose and silver fish curry was just fine. Total disappointment with Squid koliwada (which was suggested by staff) and Butter garlic squids. Tried their signature tender coconut souffle and Ragi manni, both were equally good.

Authentic Mangalore Cuisine Sea Rock Restaurant in Bengaluru is a well-known spot for authentic Mangalorean seafood. The place has a no-frills, old-school charm and is popular for dishes like squid ghee roast, kori rotti, and crab masala. Their kokum kadi is refreshing and a great palate cleanser. The seafood is usually fresh and flavourful. Service is generally good, Mr. Raju the Maitre De, was very helpful in explaining the dishes and very cordial. The prices are mid-range — about ₹1,200 for two. It’s a solid pick if you’re craving coastal Karnataka cuisine in Bangalore. They have a decent moderately priced bar as well. Restaurant offers valet parking.

Such a serene place to dine out amidst the clutter. The food was a definition of perfection. The lobster was so perfectly made, I had to question the chef for the prepping skills. The fish and chips were just delicious. The atmosphere had a great ambience, perfect greens and lights, takes you ashore a goan experience just lightly but reminds you of goa with its food. I’d visit this place every time I get a chance without any doubts in my mind. Service was top notch, and the flea market was cherry on top. Plenty of parking and beautiful seating. Nothing to hate about this place.

The food was absolutely amazing—each dish was bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and served at just the right temperature. From start to finish, everything was perfectly prepared and truly a delight to enjoy. What made the experience even more special was the outstanding service provided by Pritam. He was not only professional and attentive, but also incredibly supportive and friendly throughout our time there. Pritam made sure every detail was taken care of, and his warm, welcoming attitude made us feel completely at home. We were all genuinely impressed by his dedication and the way he carried out his work with such grace and excellence. It’s rare to come across someone so committed to providing a memorable experience. We truly loved his service and can’t thank him enough. A really big restaurant which is located near to the Phoenix mall. This restaurant has got a lot of seats and they’re also providing space for the functions. The ambience is quite amazing. They also used to have a live music going on. They do have a lot of varieties of fish items, but not so much chicken curry items in the menu. They do also provide you with mutton items. They also provide with alcohols and also beers. The food is quite TST and the quantity is also good enough. The starters were also very nice. They also provide rice items and also rotis. The service is also much quicker than the other restaurants.

As I love seafood, I was looking for authentic Goan cuisine restaurant in Bangalore. I had heard of The Fisherman’s Wharf but never visited there, so decided to pay a visit. The taste of Butter Garlic Lobster, Tiger Prawns was very authentic as I grew up in Goa and could relate to the taste. Bebinca as dessert bought me back wonderful memories too! The restaurant is huge and perfect for families and friends in large groups to visit. I would suggest to visit during evenings to sit in the open air ambiance too! Highly recommended seafood paradise!

Recently hopped into this place, and I must say, the experience was truly delightful. The food was exceptional – fresh, expertly prepared, and presented with flair. Each dish was a masterful blend of flavors and textures that left me wanting more. However, I did find the prices of the Lobster and Jumbo Prawns to be somewhat steep. While I understand that high-quality seafood can come at a premium, But these particular dishes seemed overpriced. On the other hand, the ambiance and service at Fisherman’s Wharf were great. Overall, I would highly recommend Fisherman’s Wharf to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience – just be mindful of the prices on those sea foods.” I have to pay almost 10k for 2 people.

The venue is stunning—spacious, airy, and beautifully designed. A lively DJ kept the crowd dancing and enjoying the atmosphere. The food was decent, though not exceptional. We were hoping for battered fish & chips, but the menu offered a crumbed version instead. However, the seafood pie was wonderfully comforting, and the paneer was exceptional—large, grilled pieces that were perfectly soft and creamy. Service was top-notch, with our server Raju delivering attentive, 5-star hotel-quality care. The food arrived promptly, adding to the efficient experience. Overall, the venue has great vibes, and we’ll definitely return!

The combination of food and drinks here is simply amazing, making it a perfect spot for a fun and flavorful dining experience. Their coastal cuisine stands out, with fresh seafood cooked to perfection, offering bold flavors and authentic regional spices. The fish tawa fry, prawn ghee roast, and neer dosa are absolute must-tries. Service is efficient, with the staff being friendly and well-informed about the menu. My first visit to this place. Have been planning for quite sometime. The ambience is nice, and the staff too, helpful. We had ordered Prawn Uruval which was really good, but Chicken Ghee Roast was not upto the mark. Neer Dosa was okay. Had high expectations from Chicken Ghee Roast, which was the costliest dish(670) from everything we ordered but it turned out to a disappointment. We had also ordered Kori Roti to try something new which was a Mangalorean Roti and Chicken Gravy. Taste was okay. Haven’t tried before so cannot comment on it. If you visit and order Chicken Ghee Roast, make sure to tell the waiter if you want a small or a big plate. We were not aware it had two plates and the waiter didn’t confirm either, even after watching us order Kori Roti along with it. Overall, nice ambience and good service. The food should have been better is what I think. I would rate overal 6.5/10.

Few good things about this place They have valet parking, the staff are very prompt and attentive. Atmosphere here is pretty great as well, We did like the mutton chukka the meat was cooked perfectly and the taste was good as well. The Kane fry was good, the fish was fresh and perfectly seasoned The peanut masala and fresh lime soda were good too. but that’s about it. The rest of the food was very depressing We ordered the prawn and squid ghee roast but found out that there is literally no ghee in it. We couldn’t even smell any ghee or get any flavour of the ghee. The prawn was not fresh and the squid was almost down right disgusting ( it’s like hard rubber ) The squid ghee roast was also very bitter. Neer dosa was very cold and felt like it was made hours ago. The pundi was not even the least bit sweet as it’s supposed to be. Malai broccoli tikka had a medicinal taste to it And the costliest item we ordered Anjal green masala fry was very pathetic The green masala was not edible it was bitter and the fish was so old. Not at all fresh It felt like eating aged salted fish (karvad) And please don’t trust the elaneer payasam Even though the taste of the condensed sweetened milk is good The main part of the dish is the tender coconut These guys have got that confused and gave us hard coconut along with the payasam Overall we were disappointed by this place. There are much better places who charge lower prices and offer better food NEVER GOING BACK HERE AGAIN

3.7* Had been there for dinner. The staff is very courteous and polite, and the ambience is fine. What unfortunately did not hold up to its reputation is the food. We tried almost everything on the menu from the prawns, crab, squid, fish. In all their best recommended dishes such as butter garlic, ghee roast, dry fry, rava fry, etc. Quite honestly, nothing stood out of the ordinary. Yes, food was decent but there was nothing to write home about. Quality and size of the sea food were also just ordinary. Prawns and the fish were quite small for the price being paid. They do have a decent dessert and beer menu as well.

We recently dined at a fantastic spot on Church Street and had a thoroughly satisfying experience. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between casual and lively, making it ideal for both a relaxed evening and a fun night out. The squid and chicken ghee roast were absolute standouts — packed with flavor and just the right mix of spices to keep you going back for more. The neer dosa was incredibly soft and paired perfectly with the rich gravies. One of the highlights was the availability of beer, which complemented the spicy dishes beautifully and added to the laid-back vibe of the place. Overall, a great spot for delicious food and a chill atmosphere. Highly recommend if you’re around Church Street!

We tried the chicken ghee roast, anjal fish fry, pomfret fish curry, neer dosa, and kokum juice — and everything was excellent! The chicken ghee roast and anjal fish fry were outstanding — perfectly cooked and full of flavour. Highly recommended! The ambience is cosy, though a bit on the darker side, which actually adds to its charm. Prices are slightly on the higher side, but the quality and taste make it worth every penny. One of the best sea food restaurants. One must definitely try dining here. Every item is good and the ambience is a little gloomy like a village hotel vibe. The servers uniform is good and they all look good in india traditional attire. Praw ghee roast and neer dosa is a must try. There is valet parking.

This is a good restaurant that provides Mangalore cuisine and is located in good area. Atmosphere is decent and service was also good. Since I am from Mangalore, I expected better taste from here. The crab soup was watery and was not upto the mark. Prawn ghee roast with neer dosa was yumm. Chicken pepper dry was above average. Kori rotti was not upto the mark. In dessert I tried Ragi manni and it was sweet and tasted good. Cost is according to Bangalore standards. Overall it’s a decent restaurant

The specific offerings depend on the restaurant’s specialization and the availability of fresh seafood. Some places may also offer imported seafood like lobsters.

How fresh is the seafood usually?

The freshness of the seafood is a common concern. Reputable seafood restaurants in Bangalore prioritize freshness. Many get deliveries daily from coastal regions. Less reputable places might use frozen seafood which can impact the taste and texture.

What are some popular cooking styles for seafood in Bangalore?

Bangalore seafood restaurants cater to diverse palates, showcasing a range of cooking styles. You'll find dishes prepared with Goan influences (like Recheado), Mangalorean techniques (using coconut and spices), Kerala styles (with tamarind and curry leaves), and simple tandoor preparations. Many restaurants offer a combination of fried, grilled, and curried options.

What is a typical price range for a seafood meal?

The price range for a seafood meal in Bangalore varies significantly. A casual meal at a local eatery might cost anywhere from ₹500 to ₹1000 per person. Fine-dining restaurants serving premium seafood can easily exceed ₹2000 per person. Factors affecting price include the type of seafood, the cooking style, and the ambience of the restaurant.

Are there many options for vegetarian diners alongside seafood?

These can include options like paneer curries, vegetable biryanis, and various North and South Indian vegetarian specialties. It's rare to find a seafood restaurant without vegetarian choices.

How can I identify a reliable seafood restaurant?

Asking for recommendations from locals is also helpful. Finally, observe the quality of the seafood displayed and inquire about its origin.

What about delivery options? Do most seafood restaurants deliver?

Yes, most seafood restaurants in Bangalore offer delivery services. Many partner with popular food delivery apps, making it convenient to enjoy seafood at home. However, the quality and freshness of delivered seafood can sometimes be a concern, so check reviews and consider ordering from restaurants known for quality.

Are there any seafood restaurants that specialize in a particular coastal cuisine?

Avoid dishes with very strong spices or complex preparations until you're more comfortable with different types of seafood.

What is the best way to check if a crab is fresh?

Checking for freshness in crabs involves looking for a few key indicators. A fresh crab should have a strong, sea-like smell (not ammonia-like). The legs should be firmly attached and the shell should be glossy. If the crab is already cooked, the meat should be white and opaque. An ammonia smell is a strong indication it's not fresh.
