. I had given a good review before during design phase but post installation we realised how pepper fry fooled us. They charged us 2.6L for basic interiors and master bedroom wardrobe was just one column, felt like somethis left hanging, the quality used was so poor, maybe local vendors will also use good products. On asking they said we approved the design, during design they only asked me about where to move the cupboard handle, I did not even realise that they would just make one box instead of a proper wardrobe.. the second room wardrobe handle just came out when we opened and no proper response on handling these flaws, worst service just wasted our money on Pepper Fry. If anyone opting for this please reach out to me I will give clear picture of their work worst low quality service..

I kept asking to connect with manager but apparently no one has responded. We are now spending a Lakh more to complete the interiors.. I even asked for detailed bill and no one responds,.

I ordered a dining table from Pepperfry Studio, Indiranagar, Bangalore in the month of January 2025. with a promised delivery time of 30 days. However, the product arrived much later than expected, and neither the store nor the company had any information about the courier status.

The installation process was another struggle—I had to follow up multiple times, and after a lot of effort, it was finally completed. Despite being promised free installation, I had to pay extra from my own pocket.

To make matters worse, the product was defective. Out of the set (1 table and 4 chairs), 2 chairs were damaged, and the tabletop was misaligned with a poor finish. When I contacted customer service for a return, they claimed it was a self-assembly product. Later, when I reported the damages, they refused to process a return, stating that it was past the return period.

I reached out multiple times to the store manager and customer service, but received no response. Even after escalating the issue to Mr. Ashish Shah, CEO of Pepperfry, I am still waiting for a resolution.

Pepperfry seems to believe that a ₹50,000 dining table is only meant to last a week. Their lack of accountability and poor customer service is unacceptable. I strongly advise against purchasing anything from Pepperfry due to their subpar product quality and terrible response time.

The experience was warm and welcoming. Mr Kushal (Indiranagar store) was assisting us to buy the best furniture and guided us through the payment procedures which is best for the customers’ perspective. He is a very knowledgeable person and an asset to your business.

Fraud Furniture and Modular Company

Don’t get into the trap of 50 % off for Interiors and modular and don’t even think of giving them token amount, it’s been more than 3 months and even after following up multiple times they have not given me my token amount, that to I had given the amount on a condition of full refund if I don’t wish to go ahead with them. Worst company in terms of professionalism and ethics.

Please read all the reviews regarding the token amount, they have not refunded even while they take it telling you can get the refund or purchase any product etc etc.

There is still no solution provided by the company and we will take the appropriate legal action if it is not resolved.

I would’ve give zero stars if that was an option. Extremely unprofessional bunch of liars. They”’ ask you for a budget, lock you down on a price close to your budget with 5% advance and then the game begins after the design consultation starts. The revised quote after the first design consultation went up by almost 30%. A word of advice. if you ever visit the studio do not pay 5% advance ever. They will tell you that the price is only a spot discount etc but do not heed. visit other vendors and then make a decision. This is the most unprofessional and sneaky bunch i have dealt with.

It was really a good experience, i really liked the collection of the sofas here and their executive Basavaraj was kind enough to help me in the selection and made the required and necessary changes for the sofa(the fabric colour and the length of the sofa) which i needed as per my adjustments, it was delivered on time and even the delivery boys did a great job, my house is in 2nd floor they brought it without any hassle. We popped into this store one fine saturday morning to just see the store and went out with two beds and mirror.

Recently bought a new sofa set from Ashley for our new house. Was an excellent experience. The sales person Mr. Vedanand was very good. He was not pushy with the products and was patient with our questions. He personally came over to the house and suggested the best fit sofa for our living room. We went back and forth with different companies but finally settled on Ashley because of the customer experience. The quality and look of the sofa is great and I would recommend both the company and the sales person if anyone is looking for new furniture.

I ventured into visiting Ashley Furnitures by chance, searching for a comfy sofa and ended up zeroing in between the Monaghan or the Harleson sets. We finalised the Harleson eventually.

All through our journey of choosing the right sofa, getting the colours and the faric right per our interiors; it was Hashim who was always with us. He never pushed us to buy the product but would always let us decide and hats off to his immense patience; we did make him wait a lot.

I believe that Hashim doesn’t treat a person visiting the store as a customer. He acts like a guide who helps us traverse the journey of choosing the right thing and never rushes you to commit to buy anything against your own violation.

Ashley Furnitures anywhere is a 5 star. But if you are visiting the Dickenson Road store, do interact with Hashim to get the right product.

Never buy Funiture from wooden street. Bought the sheesham wood bed from this store and within a years its broken. They charge too much for crap furniture. Paid around 50k. How come 50k bed will be broken within a year.

I wanted to share my honest and terrible experience with the WoodenStreet Hydraulic Bed with Storage (Order ID #949725). I purchased this product based on trust in the brand’s reputation for quality, but that trust was quickly broken.

Within a month of delivery, the bed began to show significant defects. The quality is profoundly lacking, and I have faced a continuous issue with the bed. Every month, a new issue arises, forcing me to contact customer support as if it were a routine job. This has been incredibly frustrating.

The most aggravating part is that the same problems are repetitive. Even after a “fix,” issues reoccur within 10-15 days, highlighting the substandard product quality and poor workmanship. During one repair attempt, a technician grooved the wood, permanently damaging its original finish and shape.

This reality is far from the promises of high-quality wood, rigorous QC, and termite-proof treatments. It is shocking that a renowned brand would deliver such a low-quality product and stand behind it.

I strongly advise potential buyers to reconsider. My experience has been terrible, and I cannot recommend this product or brand in good conscience.

Shop has good collection. But they have less items for display when compared to their online website. Staff was good and well at explaining things. I personally felt price was bit higher.

Our experience is not that great and they do not honour the commitment on delivery date. We have given order on Sep 10th to deliver within seven days and extra 3 days for any delays. Based on this commitment from them , we have placed the order but till now we understand its still under production. Best part is they do not pick your calls. I heard this is same experience from multiple customers. Store manager will give all excuses as why they dont pick the call but no delivery.

I recently visited this store with the intention of exploring furniture options, but the overall experience was quite disappointing. From the very beginning, it felt as though I was disturbing the sales executives rather than being welcomed as a potential customer. There was little to no effort made to engage with me, and the staff seemed uninterested in assisting.

Customer attention was almost nonexistent. No one approached me to offer guidance or explain the available products, which made the visit feel uninviting. The store also had a very limited collection on display, with hardly any variety to explore. For someone expecting to see and compare multiple options before making a decision, this was a major letdown.

It almost seemed like the store is more focused on pushing customers toward online shopping, as the offline showroom offered very few units to view in person. This defeats the purpose of visiting a physical store, where customers usually expect better interaction and the ability to test and experience products before buying.

In my opinion, the staff need to be more attentive and proactive in engaging with customers who walk in. A little effort in welcoming, guiding, and clarifying details can completely change the shopping experience. Unfortunately, based on this visit, I would not recommend the store for anyone expecting helpful service and a wide range of options.

I had purchased a recliner and got delivered a manufacturing defected product and the service team has visited 4 times and accepted it as a product unable to repair, but later customer service executives mentioned as no replacement is possible as per their policy.

So their policy states that, once you buy anything from them and customer has to suffer till they have the product. And they keep repairing the product until it will be scrapped by the repair not by the usage.

So since i choose urban ladder i am suffering by paying 50k for the product. I suggest not buy anything from them. As their policy states indirectly as they sell only refurbished goods not new products.

Their intention is, sell the defective product and forget the product.

So if you wish to loose your peace and happiness, buy products from them wherein you can’t use the product peacefully and happily.

If there is any negative rating i would recommend the same to them.

With a few purchases already made in the past Urbanladder is a great choice for furniture. This time went for dining set to go our interiors and we couldn’t find something similar anywhere else.

Had purchased a swing and other furniture in the past and experience with those nad been wonderful so far.

Talking about the in store experience, it was great as well with a polite and welcoming nature of the staff, and some great options in store experience.

Excellent Dining Table purchased!
Visited their Koramangala showroom a few weeks ago to have a look around. Had been searching for a luxury dining table (7’ x 3.5’ dimension) for our Villa. We were shown around by Charles who had a great demeanour and advised us well. Relaxed experience, nothing pushy. They had many options but we dint find any that suited us straightaway. We came away having shortlisted a couple and kept looking elsewhere. In the meantime Charles kept in touch and sent us pics of their new arrivals last week. We had a video call with Charles who showed us the dining tables and we immediately liked one- Onyx top with curved wood and metal base. We made the purchase and the table was delivered the same day. The delivery guys efficiently did their job.
The quality is fantastic and worth the price. Have had great feedback from visitors already!

We bought a recliner leather sofa. The product is very nice. We met with Mr Sunil the owner of the cherry pick. We had a good experience buying sofa here.

We bought an onyx dining table and chairs from this store. While their collection and prices are great (2stars are only for that) but their customer service and customer treatment is not. The sales representative has a lot of attitude and they are not keen to resolve any issues after selling the product.

After delivery we found out that the table top is not sitting well on table legs and has lot of movement on one side. Post repeated calls and complaints their technicians came and told us they will have to change the ply under it. Rather than resolving the issue we heard GM saying to them on phone speaker that technician should have given any random reason and closed the matter rather than asking to change anything. That explains their customer service!!!
After more than 1.5 months now, there was neither any resolution nor the sales representative was responding to our calls or messages. Once I posted this review the store contacted with resolution so everything written in their response happened in last one week. NOT when the issue was raised or when the purchase was made. They never explained this movement while we were making the purchase. Yes, they have offered exchange to base but their claim that it was always there is wrong.
