An Excellent Sports Facility with a Premium Feel! The Majesstine Sports in Bangalore truly lives up to its name. From the moment you step into the premises, you can feel the professional and well-maintained atmosphere that sets it apart from many other sports complexes in the city. I recently visited for a football tournament and was thoroughly impressed with the overall setup. The turf quality is top-notch — clean, even, and well-lit, making it ideal for both casual and competitive games. They’ve maintained excellent hygiene across the facility, and the changing rooms and washrooms are also clean and organized. Booking a slot is easy and smooth through their app or website, and the staff is courteous, helpful, and well-trained. What I liked the most is the spacious layout. There’s enough room for warm-ups and seating for spectators. It’s also great to see that they host various sports events and training sessions, including cricket nets and coaching for kids. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned player, this place caters to all. Parking is sufficient, and the location is convenient, not too far from major parts of the city. If you’re a sports enthusiast looking for a high-quality experience in Bangalore, I highly recommend The Majesstine Sports!

One of the best badminton courts in HSR! The facilities are top-notch, with clean washrooms and a drinking water station available. There’s a pavilion that offers a great view of the games, making it an excellent spot for spectators. Besides badminton, there’s a designated play area for kids, which is a nice addition. However, parking can be a challenge, so plan accordingly. Overall, it’s a great place for badminton enthusiasts and families alike!

One of the best multi sports center in Bengaluru with Badminton, Swimming pool, kids play area, table tennis, indoor cricket. Got gated site adjacent to center for parking, i guess over 50 cars can be parked easily with 2 wheelers. Hope this parking belongs to the center. Coming to facility- Badminton facility is par with standard along with gallery to watch games. Center is manned with reception, decent staffing on each area. Good number of Rest room and changing rooms are available, just they need to do little more up-keeping on restrooms. Otherwise best sports center I would recommend

Don’t dare to book the kids play. I have been to this center as it is near to my house. Most of the rides are not accessible. Staff doesn’t know how to operate. Poor experience, you can have a better experience in shopping mall. Majestine have opened it as they have spare space. Right now it has shrink to half. Make it to disappear from this place.

I visited Majesstine sports today specifically to play badminton, and I must say, the experience was impressive! The first thing that caught my attention was the sheer size of the place. It’s incredibly spacious with a wide, welcoming reception area that gives a good first impression. You don’t feel cramped or hurried when you walk in, which sets the tone for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Badminton Courts There are eight well-maintained badminton courts, enough to accommodate a good number of players without overcrowding. The lighting was adequate, and the court flooring felt safe and comfortable for a game. Whether you’re a casual player or training more seriously, the setup here is up to the mark. ‍ ‍ Family-Friendly Environment What I particularly liked was the ample space around the courts, making it a great spot if you’re visiting with kids. There’s enough room for them to move around or play without getting in the way of others. The vibe is family-friendly, and it’s easy to spend a few hours here without feeling restricted. Clean and Maintained Washrooms Often overlooked in many sports facilities, the washrooms here were a pleasant surprise. They were clean, functional, and well-maintained, which adds a big plus to the overall comfort of the facility. Active Community Events Today, there was a school-level tournament going on, and the place was bustling with energy. It was nice to see so many kids participating and enjoying the sport, and it also shows that the facility is well-connected with local schools and the community. Final Thoughts Overall, Indoor Games Majesstine is a top choice for badminton enthusiasts and families looking for a clean, spacious, and welcoming environment. With multiple courts, good amenities, and a positive atmosphere, it’s definitely a place I’d recommend and return to.

Both my daughters and I had a wonderful experience learning swimming under Captain John Chaco Sir. He’s one of the best coaches we’ve come across — extremely patient, friendly, and skilled in teaching a variety of techniques. His calm and encouraging approach made learning enjoyable for all of us. Golden Fins itself is an excellent coaching center — clean, well-maintained, and professionally run. The atmosphere is welcoming and perfect for both beginners and advanced learners. One of the best places to learn swimming-highly recommended!!

The coaching is structured and we’ll paced. Water quality is checked regularly. Parents are allowed to watch the coaching, which makes them comfortable and assured. The location, size of the pool and ample life guards make it an ideal place to learn swmming. John Sir had trained my Son with a lot of patience and determination focusing on his weaknesses and now he is moved to the next level. Thanks to Mangalam Sir also who coached and encouraged my daughter. Last but not least Head Coach Anthony Sir, is a man of few words but a great coach which is evident from the quality of students it churns out. Office staff, Arvind was also very helpful ..

We had a wonderful experience at Golden fins sports club, NRI layout, Bangalore. Captain John Chacko is an incredibly gifted mentor who genuinely understands children, technical expertise with patience, emotional intelligence, and a genuine love for teaching children. My daughter was very afraid of water and hesitant to even step into the pool. With patience, kindness, and skill, John sir worked with her step by step. In just a short span of time, her confidence grew and she began to truly enjoy swimming. The coach not only taught her the techniques but also helped her overcome her fear with a calm and encouraging approach. We are truly grateful and thankful for the coach’s patience and support. I would highly recommend John sir to parents looking for a supportive and skilled swimming instructor, especially for children who are nervous or afraid. The swimming pool at Golden Fins Sports club, at NRI Layout is one of the best-maintained facilities we’ve come across. The water is always clean and crystal clear, with proper filtration and hygiene standards clearly in place. The pool area is spacious, well-organized, and very safe—ideal for both beginners and experienced swimmers.

I travel 6.5 kilometres to get here because it’s worth it. The water was super clean, very less chlorine. They have a good space for changing & shower. Head cap and swimming goggles are necessary which you can also rent if needed. The pool is indoor and well maintained.

One of the best pools you can find in BTM. Been a member for almost 9 months and has never had much to complain about. The pool is 25m in length that starts with 3.5 ft to 5.5 ft in depth. It’s well maintained although it’s not heated. The width of the pool is big enough (around 15-20 m) that they have divided into two for trainees and members. Evenings are more crowded on the members side. The training side is crowded nevertheless.

Indoor… Olympic sized pool….. Crystal clear water… recently I had the pleasure of visiting planet aqua swimming pool, and I must say, it was a good experience. The facility was well-maintained, and here’s what stood out to me: Cleanliness: The indoor pool area was impeccably clean. The water was crystal clear, and the surrounding area was spotless, which made me feel comfortable and safe. Temperature Control: The pool’s water temperature was perfect. It was neither too cold nor too warm, making it ideal for a refreshing swim regardless of the weather outside. Ambiance: The pool area had large windows that let in plenty of natural light, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere. The interior design was pleasing, with comfortable seating areas for relaxation. Safety: Lifeguards were present and vigilant, ensuring the safety of all swimmers. Adequate safety equipment and signage were also in place. Amenities: The facility had changing rooms, showers, and locker facilities that were clean and well-maintained. Towel service was available, which was a nice touch. Accessibility: The indoor pool was easily accessible, with ample parking and convenient hours of operation. Family-Friendly: It was clear that families were welcome. There was a separate shallow area for children, making it a great destination for all ages. Swimming Programs: The pool offered various swimming programs, including lessons for beginners and advanced swimmers, which added value for those looking to improve their skills. A seperate kids pool adjoining the main pool…. Overall, my experience at this indoor swimming pool was excellent. Whether you’re a serious swimmer or just looking for a fun and relaxing time, this facility offers a top-notch environment for all. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great indoor swimming experience.

At the time of registration, they were assured that the class schedule would be managed appropriately and in the best interest of all children. However, after the classes started, we noticed several issues that are causing concern among many parents: 1. Overcrowded Batches: Each batch currently has 16–20 children. With only 1 hour per session, each child is getting very limited one-on-one time with the coach—on average, only 7 to 8 minutes. 2. No Segregation of Skill Levels: New joiners and existing students are being grouped in the same time slots. This lack of separation results in inefficient coaching, as the coach cannot focus effectively on the varying skill levels. 3. Lack of Response to Concerns: Many parents have raised these issues with the front office, but unfortunately, no action has been taken to address them for kids batche. We request the management to kindly look into these concerns and take the necessary steps to improve the structure of the batches and ensure better learning outcomes for our childrens.

It’s a great place to swim. It’s clean and the max depth is only 5.5 feet. Only issue I felt is a bit expensive for a hour swim. It’s ₹300/hr. This has good and separate changing areas form men and women.

False advertisements. They write learn swimming at ₹ 199 only. When you contact with them, then you learn that it is ₹199 per class that too for 125 classes. Total fees aggregates upto ₹25000. So you need to pay ₹25000 for learning swimming which is quite too high from other vendors.

It is a very old academy for swimming. Coaches are very helpful and kind. The are producing the swimmers for ‘Khelo India’ where Karnataka is representing India at international level sports events. Like Olympics. There are three main swimming pools and one baby pool. There are annual summer camps and yearly courses. On weekends we can swim with family. They maintain hygiene and have a first aid kit.

This is the most overrated swim center. The swimming pool is decently maintained. The pool looks like crowded, but it is actually not since the staff allow only is the designated area for the public to swim. The public pool time they have mentioned is 1hr, but they allow only half an hour to swim. This is kind of question to the management as why so? They charge 20 rupees for the parent/guardian who accompany too. The management is the poorest I believe. The security staff there act like the pool is owned by them. When we stand or sit in the shade due to sunlight, the security acts as a third class fellow. He did not allow to stand there and sent us away from there mentioning you cannot sit/stand there, although there were chairs to sit. When questioned he gave an inappropriate answer. And to mentioned that was not a designated area for any VIP or anybody. They treat public children as though the children have come for free and the children are using the pool for free. I have seen the security guards scolding the public for no reasons never thinking that they are elder/younger. The management should give some behavioral training to the staff there. I understand that security is a matter of concern, but you cannot take advantage only because of it. Overall, the experience is very bad. Only having the name as getting accredited does not make an institution/center great, the management should show some decent behavior and act in an appropriate way and responsibly.

Superb experience at BAC, Prices are worth it for exclusive sessions for men and woman that’s 50 per head and you can use the Olympic pool about 8 feet deep. If you require a co-ed/ family batch the price would be 150 per head and you’ll be able to use the normal pool half the size of the Olympic pool about 5.2feet deep. Overall experience is at its fineness as the pools are well maintained and very clear even when it’s busy. Proper designated outdoor shower areas with good ventilated restroom and changing rooms. Plenty of space to relax and sit. Lifeguard’s always on the watch for any troubles. 5 star experience. Must try pool.

I’ve been playing badminton at this venue for over 18 months, and the management’s incompetence has become unbearable. Since the winter of 2023, the roof has been leaking whenever fog builds up, and despite repeated issues, they’ve failed to fix it. During heavy rains in September 2024, the situation worsened, yet no action was taken. Now, with winter setting in, the leaks have become a daily menace, and players’ complaints continue to fall on deaf ears. The pictures attached show just how the courts look almost everyday. To make matters worse, I’ve learned that at least two players have sustained injuries since September due to these hazardous conditions, yet management remains indifferent. On November 16, they had the audacity to send an email announcing the closure of 6 AM slots, telling players to book elsewhere or switch times. This pathetic attempt to cover up their inefficiency and lack of accountability is outrageous. The 6 AM slot caters to about 40 regular players—canceling it without any valid reason is nothing short of sheer stupidity. Despite numerous complaints via email and phone, the management has done nothing. It seems like Fitso and Cult are passing the buck, leaving paying customers to suffer from their failures and gross mismanagement. This venue is a disgrace, and the lack of accountability is appalling.

Cult fit took over the court few years back . During winter the courts are in mess . Water dripping and very high risk to players . Players keep giving a feedback but the admin is skeeing . Some serious injuries are waiting to happen I have my last feedback 2 months back . Adding again in Jan 25th . Don’t know whether it’s a badminton court where you can swim . Or are they trying to merge swimming pool with court .

I have been playing badminton here for more than a year. For the last two months, I have been facing the worst situation. Last month I was hospitalized due to a leg ankle twist. The worst maintenance of badminton courts is that water is flowing over the courts. Until 10 dampens, I will not be able to play. When I joined, I pulled three friends to join here; now they are shouting at me. Good gift to me #cult.

I joined the swimming lesson for a month. I had a great experience. All the coaches (Gopika, Shiba, Tutan) are good, and they have good techniques. All of them are great trainers. Most of my lessons were with Tutan; he was great. The only bad experience was the pool water heater, because most of the time it was out of order. Trainers are good, but the management needs improvement.

People swim in any direction they want inspite of lanes which is hazardous. Coaches don’t correct such people. Men also come shirtless to the pool and change next to the pool even with changing rooms available. Cult took over and maintained the pool decently but they only have the pool open for a few hours not the whole day like before which can cause overcrowding, also memberships are expensive, the pool is closed on fridays and cult is a scam simply cancelling days of your membership for coming late to the pool or not turning up or even barring you. Please choose another swimming pool. Also some men/women in the pool are rude and some creeps exist.

Swimming coaching is covered under cult membership itself. Good place with changing rooms facility available. Parking facility is little congested here. Big bikes with little wide handlebar, please avoid parking inside.

This is a place for sports, namely swimming and badminton. They have membership plans,3months,6 months and so on. It’s taken over by cult,so currently Cult fitness is managing this place. The swimming pool is covered and it’s temperature controlled, a major plus in the Bangalore weather! However sometimes the water is cool, you need to raise a concern and then they fix it. The swimming trainers are good. They do focus on the kids and give them attention. So currently from 6th September, they have changed the heating system in the pool, which is not working. So basically the water is cool/ cold for the swimmers. Do check the water before you enroll here,as currently what is promised is not being delivered.

A very neat place for swimming and good changing rooms and ample of parking facility. I wish they add overhead covering shelter for the pool … So that it becomes much more accessible.

Very worst experience at Laps eagle nest branch Kanakpura road, they have taken money from many parents by throwing some offers for 3 months… but they have closed academy in between and not refunding our amount… now parents are roaming around police station to get back their hard earned money from that owner Ms. Deepali…. She has cheated everyone….. As parents don’t fall for her word or offers …… they are very unprofessional…. Every single parent is worried and sad for this

This is the condition of the pool now. I have taken a membership in January . I ask them everyday if the pool is open! It is never open and it’s been under maintenance since forever. Nobody informed me the situation when I took the membership and not one day have I been able to take a swim since January. Nobody responds nor communicate so I can ask for a refund. Absolutely worst management!

Extremely disappointing experience at Laps swimming academy, Kanakapura Road branch. The swimming pool was closed without any prior notice, leaving over 60 parents and their children inconvenienced. To make matters worse, the management, led by Deepali, has failed to issue refunds despite repeated follow-ups. This lack of professionalism and accountability is unacceptable. Parents deserve better transparency and respect. Would not recommend this facility. Do not invest your valuable money on Laps.

Very poor higiene pool, worst receptionist response from Sathish, disgusting behaviour from to the pool members, we have informed there is a poop in pool and dirty inside pool, response from pool management is shut up and don’t come to pool we will run pool without public entries. Suggested to close pool if not able to maintain public relations properly. Avoid goondaism, rowdyism with public.

Extremely Unprofessional and Disappointing! I cannot begin to describe how terrible my experience has been with Laps Swimming Academy. The owner, Deepali, has completely scammed us. She took money from nearly 60 customers, promising swimming lessons and services, only to close down the academy without any prior notice. What’s worse, she hasn’t refunded a single penny to any of the affected customers. This is an absolutely unprofessional and unethical business. It is beyond belief that someone could be so dishonest, taking money for a service she clearly had no intention of providing. Not only is this frustrating, but it’s also downright disrespectful to the families and individuals who trusted her with their money. I would strongly advise anyone to stay far away from this academy. There are plenty of other swimming academies out there that actually care about their customers and fulfill their promises. Stay away from Laps Swimming Academy unless you want to lose your money and be completely disappointed. Look at the notice from Cult to LAPS, (LAPS Swimming Academy) was kicked out of the Kanakapura branch for the defaults. Owner has not spared even their partner, whose premises she was using to run the business. Now that we have put a review she will come up with the excuses, and reasons. But anyone who wants to verify can DM individually to validate.

I have been to many swimming pools in Bangalore, and this is by far the best-maintained pool. I had enrolled in the Learn to Swim (LTS) coaching program and had a good learning experience through the different levels. The coaches changed across batches—some were part-timers and not particularly impressive, but it was manageable. Then there was this coach, Rohit—if swimming is an art, he is the Leonardo da Vinci of it. His teaching style, technique, and passion for swimming truly stood out. Maybe the people at the reception could be a bit more cordial. It’s not a major issue, but I felt it was worth mentioning. I will definitely be enrolling again for a few more classes. Overall, this is an excellent place for both beginners and experienced swimmers

I am absolutely thrilled with the swimming coaching center Nettakallappa Aquatic Centre….my kids have been attending! The instructors are truly exceptional – patient, encouraging, and skilled at making learning fun. The swimming lessons have not only taught our children essential water safety techniques but have also boosted their confidence in the water. The coaches tailor lessons to each child’s needs and abilities, ensuring everyone feels supported and challenged. We’ve seen significant progress in our child’s swimming skills in just a few short weeks, and it’s amazing to see how much they’ve grown. The swimming center’s program is well-structured, engaging, and emphasizes safety above all. The staff are friendly, professional, and genuinely care about the kids’ progress. We feel incredibly lucky to have found this center, and we highly recommend it to any parent looking for top-notch swimming lessons for their kids. The environment is safe, clean, and perfect for kids to learn and thrive. We’ve been thoroughly impressed with the results, and our kids can’t wait for their next lesson!

PM Swimming Centre is a well-equipped facility with dedicated coaches and support staff, making it ideal for swimmers of all levels. The premises are clean and well-maintained. While it can get a little crowded at times, the centre has thoughtfully segregated pools for adults, children, and even toddlers, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for everyone. Although it’s government-owned, the maintenance is handled by a private firm, which reflects in the higher pricing — but the quality justifies the cost.

I have been visited this place since my childhood amd now my child is learning how to swim here. Earlier there was only a single pool with varying depths, now they have three separate pools for toddlers, learners and general public. The toddler’s pool is a lovely shallow section and my little one has been learning here since last few months and is having a blast splashing around without a care in the world. The toddler’s pool also has fun floatees and toys to keep the toddlers engaged. My daughter has been trained by different coaches and her favourites are Nishant sir and Durgesh sir. I must say all the coaches handle kids with utmost patience and try to keep them interested in the water. It is nice to see the kids enjoying in thw water. The adult pools are great too, especially for those looking to just swim some laps or unwind. Toilets and changing rooms are clean and well maintained. It gets crowded during the weekends but other days are just fine.

After visiting and swimming in all of the available pools in the region, the Wilson Garden is by far the best in terms of quality of staff, quality of the pool and the experiences shared by other swimmers. If you are visiting to satisfy an entitled sense opulence, please don’t come here. This is an organic place for swimmers interested in swimming. Please ignore the comments of the elitists traveler who had to park his car on the road or the one that posted the photos verifying that he had to walk through an unpaved lot to get to the pool. Really well maintained pool, the staff was good, only interacted with the receptionist for payment. Aside from that, the pool is really long and deep too, clean as well. “Make it Private instead of Public ” Appalling Manager’s Conduct & Exploitative Pool Management The Manager ‘s unprofessionalism and blatant disrespect toward paying patrons are egregious. During my visit, 40% of the pool was cordoned off for “private wealthy,” another 30-40% was asked to leave for training while we were swimming there, leaving mere scraps (25-30%) for actual customers. When questioned, the Manager responded with shocking rudeness, even threatening to ban us from returning. Public pools exist to serve the public—not as revenue streams for private lessons or ego-driven fiefdoms. Avoid this facility unless you enjoy funding exclusivity while being treated as an inconvenience. Gross mismanagement and disdain for patrons. **Zero stars.** Never got humiliated like this anywhere. Legal Actions must be take on these so that they don’t do it with others. They need to put instructions or notice board stating the area of pool available to us. Request everyone to ask what portion of the pool they get to swim before that pay. Big zero for their behaviour.

Frequently Asked Questions about Swimming Classes in Bangalore

What are the different types of swimming classes offered in Bangalore?

Swimming classes in Bangalore cater to diverse skill levels, offering a range of programs. You’re likely to find beginner classes for those with no prior experience, intermediate classes for those who can already float and propel themselves, and advanced classes focused on technique improvement and competitive strokes. There are also specialized classes such as water aerobics and survival swimming. Some institutions offer private lessons for personalized instruction.

How much do swimming classes typically cost in Bangalore?

The cost of swimming classes in Bangalore can vary greatly depending on several factors including the instructor’s qualifications, the pool location, the duration of the classes, and the class size. Generally, expect to pay anywhere from INR 3,000 to INR 15,000 or more for a comprehensive course. Private lessons will naturally be more expensive than group classes. Comparing prices from different providers is crucial.

What age groups are swimming classes suitable for?

Swimming classes in Bangalore are available for a wide age range, starting as young as 6 months old with specialized infant swimming programs. Many facilities offer classes for children, teenagers, adults, and senior citizens. The curriculum and approach will be adapted to the specific age group and their developmental stage. Always inquire about the instructor’s experience with the target age group.

What is the best time to enroll in swimming classes?

There's no inherently "best" time, but spring and early summer (March to May) are popular choices as the weather is generally pleasant. However, many pools operate year-round, offering classes throughout the year. Consider your own schedule and the availability of classes at preferred facilities. Enrolling early can help secure a spot, especially for popular classes.

What should I expect during my first swimming lesson?

Your first swimming lesson will likely involve an introduction to the water, a brief assessment of your current skill level, and a review of basic safety rules. Expect to learn fundamental skills like breathing control, floating, and basic propulsion. The instructor will emphasize water comfort and building confidence.

Are there any prerequisites for joining swimming classes?

Generally, there are no strict prerequisites for beginner classes. However, a basic level of water comfort and a willingness to learn are beneficial. For more advanced classes, a certain level of swimming proficiency may be required. Always check the class description or contact the instructor to confirm requirements.

What equipment will I need for swimming classes?

Essential equipment includes a swimsuit, a towel, and a pair of flip-flops or sandals. Goggles are highly recommended for eye protection. Some facilities may provide pool noodles or kickboards, but it's often a good idea to have your own. A swim cap may be required at certain pools.

How long does it typically take to learn to swim?

The time it takes to learn to swim varies greatly depending on the individual’s aptitude, frequency of lessons, and commitment to practice. Most beginners can learn basic water safety and float within a few lessons. Achieving a comfortable and proficient swimming stroke usually takes several weeks or months of consistent practice.

How can I find reputable swimming instructors and facilities in Bangalore?

To find reputable instructors and facilities, look for certifications from recognized swimming organizations. Check online reviews and testimonials from other students. Seek referrals from friends or family. Consider the facility’s safety record and maintenance of the pool. Visiting the facility in person to assess its environment is also advisable.

What are some important safety considerations when taking swimming classes?

Safety is paramount. Ensure the facility has qualified lifeguards on duty. Always follow the instructor’s instructions. Understand the pool’s depth markings. Avoid swimming alone. Learn basic water safety skills, such as how to tread water and signal for help. Be aware of potential hazards like slippery surfaces.
