HAL heritage centre and aerospace museum is a good place to visit with family and children. I will not call it extraordinary but still nice, and if you have time you may visit the same. There are photograph gallery depicting photos showcasing development of small combact, trainer, and transport aircraft by HAL. There are some aircraft, helicopter and some aircraft engines on display surrounding the main building. The surroundings are lush green and tranquil. You also have a souvenir shop and a canteen in the vicinity of main building.

Features a few LCVs, fighter jets, helicopters and missiles on display. Cons: Limited parking space outside the museum. No clear signage or instructions for navigating the exhibits. Flight simulator was under maintenance during the visit. The collection is relatively small and could be expanded.

Went as a child many years ago and liked the museum. I returned today along with my own child and noticed not much has changed since then. I think they could do a lot to make it more engaging for visitors both young and old. It would make the effort of all the staff there more justified. The simulator has been out of order for the last one year according to staff at the museum. The place is clean and well maintained but hasn't kept up with the times. The souvenir shop hardly has anything to pick up and the cafeteria has no fresh snacks.
