I do not recommend going for free darshan. The maintenance is very poor — they push around 1,500 people into waiting halls meant for only 500 people, which makes it very uncomfortable. If you are planning to visit, please choose special entry darshan instead. TTD’s management for free darshan needs a lot of improvements,

Nice temple to visit in outskirts of Bangalore. It is small replica of the original Tirupati temple. People who cannot visit tirupati, they can visit here. Very well maintained and neat. Temple atmosphere is very quiet and calm. No parking space is there, but you can park your vehicles on the road sides.

Our AhobilaTirta Yatra trip 25 was an excellent and memorable one. Sri Hari and Bala took care of all the yatries and personally served each and every one. Sri Hari guided every one into Ahobilam and briefed us on the sthala puranas of each temple and historical impotance from puranas. He is a potential person and a good orator in explaining from various puranas. He has conducted quiz on Ahobilam and on our puranas which is mind blowing.
Stay and food arrangements were super and flawless. Regarding travel a comfortable luxury bus was arranged with a very good Driver and Conductor. The guide engaged was also helpful and a well behaved young boy. What not, In total the trip was an excellent , memorable and the people travelled were very friendly and we have passed the journey time with singing, dancing which was helpful for our long journey. Thanks for the Wonderful arrangement with good Coordinators. Enjoyed the divine vibes by Hari, Jayaram and other singers. Mind was really relaxed during the entire journey.

The Char Dham Yatra 03: 21May-01June 2025 was a fulfilling yatra to our mind and body.

First a standing ovataion to Tirtha Yatra team and especially our Yatra Director Venkatesa Dasa PrabhuJi, Yatra Co-coordinator Mahendra Krishna PrabhuJi and our young and energetic and very bubbly Ankush Bhandari. Enlightened by the daily Narasimha prayers, snippets from Bhagawatha, Mahabharatha, Stala Puranams was a great treat to our mind. They offerred spirituality with comfort and made this remarkable journey /yatra to the holy places, a golden moment of our life.

The confidence and motivation provided by the Tirtha Yatra team and our co-Yatris was amazing. The directions and care provided at each of the Char Dhams, the do’s and dont’s clearly spelt each day during the satsang sessions or during the bus tours was a great plus. At most places we could find either of the three Tirtha Yatra coordintors appearing like GOD in front of us for any support / help as needed. Carried away with emotions in all locations. The support provided to perform rituals like Tharpana / Srardha at holy places, the VIP entrance ticket options were fabulous.

Kudos to the Bhojanam /Prasadha (food) team for providing excellent smiling service added to specially cooked food (on par with home food or beyond), for the 12 days of our Yatra; very punctual service for breakfast, lunch, dinner and coffee/tea services. Variety of food day in and day out for the 12 days was a feast for our tounge and tummy. The dedication of the kitchen team / kitchen vehicle personnel / was beyond compare. Their hard work and efforts needs special recognition.

Accomodation: 90% of the time were great places of stay and special mention at the camp Nirvana, Barkot, was stunning. With the sounds of Yamuna River and cool breeze the feeling was great. What a life experience.

The transportation systems were well coordinated with mini bus and a Tempo Traveller and were travelling back to back like close companions.

By this Yatra, my spiritual gear has turned a notch for now. Looking forward for similar Yatra going forward. Wishing the Tirtha Yatra team and co-yatris all the very best in their endeavours.

We recently went on a trip to Ayodhya week end trip and it was a truly memorable experience. Everything about the trip was just perfect – from the travel arrangements to the accommodation and sightseeing. The entire journey was smooth and well-organized, making it stress-free and enjoyable for everyone. My Mother in law 84 years and my mother 72 years enjoyed the full trip which was very much senior citizen friendly.

Ayodhya itself is a place filled with spiritual energy and rich history. Visiting the sacred temples and historical sites was both peaceful and inspiring. The arrangements made for our group were wonderful – clean accommodations, timely meals, and knowledgeable guide who explained the significance of each place we visited.
Special thanks to the organizers for their attention to detail and warm hospitality. Our tour director Sri Baskar Rao is simply super in explaining about the values of Sanadhana Dharna and how we have to practice it in day to day life.

Participated in the recently concluded Bhadrachalam yatra. This yatra was well organized. Even the temples in the remote area were covered with very good dharshan. The narration of the sthala purana was superb. Stay food and transport was xcellent which is very essential in a pilgrimage. This is our seventh trip I would like to join many more yatras with Tirtha Yatra and would recommend others also. Myself and my wife undertook this Yatra as part of our journey into the Lord’s 108 Divyadesams. We have heard about the difficulties of having darshans in the Northern Divyadesams. By the grace of the Lord, we were fortunate to choose Tirthayatra to take us through this journey. This is the first time we’ve travelled through them and it is a completely divine and unforgettable experience .

Led by the charismatic Krishna Das Ji and ably supported by the ever smiling Samrat Ji, the Yatra, apart from satisfying the unified goal of Darshans, was managed in a professional manner in all aspects, all the time maintaining the sanguine divine atmosphere.

The success of the Yatra was solely by the grace of the Lord and we have to have unflinching faith in that. We observed that devotion in each one of our group and that stands out as the most unforgettable aspect of this Yatra. Our pranams to all our co-yatris and by the grace of God, we all may meet in another Yatra, through ThirthaYatra.

One humble point of suggestion is regarding the monumental devotional service done by the Azhwars for these Divyadesams. In this modern age, if we have so much difficulty to have darshan of the Lord, it is quite unimaginable how thousands of years ago, they took the pain to have darshans and for future generations to worship through their pasurams. This aspect of Azhwars’ devotion may be covered in more detail during sthlapuranams.

Very well maintained garden and park. The vendors are also careful not to litter the area. Very nice outing for a day if you want to spend sometime in Bangalore away from all the pollution and pubs. Definitely recommend everyone to visit.

Visited lalbagh flower show on Independence day..Too crowded but it was well managed by the authorities.multiple stalls of food,juice,plants and other items were set up.visted the water fall inside the lalbagh.plastic bottles are not allowed,well marked directions inside to commute. parking is a major issue..better to use metro which stops right opposite to the gate.

The theme for this independence day is kittur rani chennamma and all the other important heroic fighters .it showcases the bravery of each one of them, the kittur fort made out of flowers are beautiful . It’s a treat to watch . Worth the visit and one can buy plants from the nursery as well

The Glass House at Lal Bagh is one of Bengaluru’s most iconic landmarks, a graceful marvel of iron and glass inspired by London’s Crystal Palace. Built in 1889 during the reign of Kumar Krishnaraja Wadiyar under the guidance of then-superintendent John Cameron, it was designed to host horticultural shows and promote botanical awareness.

This elegant structure, with its sweeping arches, filigree ironwork, and airy glass panels, stands at the heart of Lal Bagh Botanical Garden, a green oasis spread over 240 acres. The design allows sunlight to flood in, making it the perfect stage for dazzling floral displays.

The Glass House is most famous for the biannual Lal Bagh Flower Show, held every January (Republic Day) and August (Independence Day). These shows transform the hall into a kaleidoscope of colors, with elaborate floral installations—sometimes recreating historical monuments or cultural icons entirely out of flowers. Exhibitions also feature rare plants, bonsai collections, and floral arrangements from across India.

Even when no event is on, the Glass House is worth a visit for its old-world charm and tranquil setting, surrounded by lush lawns and tree-lined avenues. It’s a favorite spot for photographers, heritage enthusiasts, and anyone seeking a slice of Bengaluru’s colonial-era elegance.

Best time to visit: Early mornings for quiet strolls, or during the flower shows for a spectacular burst of nature’s artistry.

It was built in 1889 to commemorate the visit of Prince Albert Victor. It is modelled after the Crystal Palace in London, a structure that hosted the Great Exhibition of 1851. The Glass House was initially called the Albert Victor Conservatory, and the reception party for the prince was hosted by Mysuru maharaja Chamaraja Wodeyar.

The structure was prefabricated in Glasgow and assembled in Bangalore, making it one of the first prefabricated buildings in India. The main hall of the Glass House is spread across 160 ft X 80 ft. Two wings perpendicular to it measure 60ft X 40ft each.

The Glass House was renovated in 2004 at a cost of Rs 5 crore, involving 60,000 tonnes of glass (3505 unbreakable panes) and 1000 square metres of galvanised steel. It remains a major attraction for visitors, especially during the biannual flower shows.

Good place for the day out. Very big garden so you can spend a whole day there. You can borrow your food and sit down site of tree and enjoy your food.

I had earlier posted a review about my refund issues with Thomas Cook, and after their response here, I waited patiently for them to act. Unfortunately, even after their so-called “immediate attention” and promises, nothing has been resolved. Both my refunds are still pending with no clear updates or accountability.

This is not just about the money, but about the repeated delays, false assurances, and lack of professionalism I’ve faced throughout this entire process. Every follow-up feels like chasing shadows, and the company’s response is only to buy more time instead of solving the issue.

I am extremely disappointed that even after raising this matter publicly, Thomas Cook has failed to deliver on their commitments. This has been the absolute worst travel booking experience I’ve ever had, and I would strongly caution others before trusting this company with their money.

I had recently been to Kailash mansarovar yatra with SDS tourism.
Arun and his team have been supportive from the day we enrolled for this yatra.
Be it from itinerary explanation to getting Chinese permit and visa.
What to expect, money transfers, everything was taken up by them.
Any request I made small or big was always welcome.
Small gestures like getting us oxygen cans, letting us use a room for a quick freshen up was always provided even without asking.
I had seen responses from other groups and other tour leaders, and Arun was by far the best. He let us be, came in where ever necessary and any inconvenience was quickly addressed.
Kailash mansarovar yatra is tough without much facilities in Tibet, but we were given the best experiences. (We were prepared for what to expect and no false promises which was a delight)

️ Mt. Kailash Yatra 2025 – A Journey of a Lifetime
Our journey to Mt. Kailash in 2025 was truly the experience of a lifetime. It had been in the works for nearly four years, and we were patiently waiting for the right travel partner to help make it happen. Through a trusted referral, we connected with SDS Tourism—and that turned out to be a fantastic decision.
From the very beginning, our interactions with Arun from SDS were smooth and professional. His clear communication and meticulous planning made every step—visa documentation, passport collection, currency exchange—effortless. The trip was off to a super start!
✈️ The Journey Begins – 24th July
We met Arun in person on the day of travel. Humble and ever-supportive, he set the tone for what would become a truly memorable journey. Upon arriving in Kathmandu, we were welcomed with 5-star accommodations and excellent hospitality.
SDS Tourism had partnered with Soham Journey Pvt Ltd, the main operators in mainland China. Their collaboration was seamless, ensuring smooth arrangements for transportation, food, and logistics throughout the trip. Special thanks to Surya Pathak from Soham , Arun from SDS and Gelgen from the hospitality team for their attentive support and quality meals—even in remote locations like Nyalam, where bathroom facilities were challenging but manageable.
️ Sacred Sites and Stunning Views
Our accommodations in Saga and Darchen were comfortable and well-organized. We experienced a beautiful Parikrama of Lake Manasarovar by bus and even touched the sacred waters. The hotel near the lake offered our first glimpse of Mt. Kailash’s South Face—a breathtaking moment.

Arun briefed us thoroughly before the Parikrama began. After seven days of anticipation, we finally set out to witness the West Face of Mt. Kailash. Day 1 involved a 13 km trek to Derapuk, where we stayed at Hotel Shishapangma—a basic but clean facility. SDS arranged hot, healthy meals right to our rooms, which was a blessing at 4,700 meters altitude.
Day 2 was the most challenging: a 22 km trek across Dolma Pass and Gauri Kund, reaching an altitude of 5,630 meters. SDS provided well-thought-out food packs that gave us the energy to tackle the terrain. We stayed at Zuthulpuk, where the accommodation was good, though the toilet facilities—dependent on local infrastructure—were less ideal.
Day 3 was a shorter 8 km trek, after which a bus awaited to take us back to Saga.
Return and Reflections
We returned to Nepal on 4th August, completing a 13-day spiritual and scenic adventure. Our group included 71 yatris and 15 support staff, with teams from Lakshya Tours and Nirmala Travels. Though we faced a delay at the Tatopani China border due to a landslide, SDS handled the situation efficiently and ensured we reached Kathmandu safely.
Back in Kathmandu, we stayed near Pashupatinath Temple, making it easy to visit and shop. Arun had even booked our return tickets on Nepal Airlines, allowing a generous 30 kg baggage allowance—a thoughtful gesture that made everyone happy.
Final Thoughts
This journey was flawlessly executed by Arun and the SDS Tourism team. From start to finish, every detail was handled with care and professionalism—even the midday meal on our final travel leg on 5th August.
We—Rajaram, Rashmi, and Keerthi—had an unforgettable experience and strongly recommend SDS Tourism for the Kailash Yatra and other domestic and international tours.

was very cooperative and helped with whatever required in a calm and polite way

Just came back from a wonderful trip to Munnar and Kolukkumalai with Traveller Nexus. It was an absolutely fantastic experience. The stay they provided was excellent—very clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. The entire trip was incredibly well-organized, from the thrilling jeep ride to Kolukkumalai for the sunrise to the seamless travel arrangements. I had a wonderful and a safe vacation with travellers nexus. The guides especially vijay sir was friendly, cooperative, calm, and composed. They guided us exceptionally well, and the food provided was very good. I loved off road jeep ride and zipline experience..The package was affordable too. I had a great time in trekking which was organised by Travellers Nexus. As I have no experience in hiking and trekking before , I m so worried about the trip at the beginning!

I recently went on a group tour package offered by Traveller Nexus, and it exceeded all my expectations!.The itinerary was well planned,covering all the must see attractions. The accommodation were comfortable,and tour guide were knowledgeable and friendly. I felt safe and taken care of throughout the trip. It was a well organised trip.The trip coordinator – Madhu was very humble and he managed every place timely. Made sure that we covered every place that was mentioned in the package of wayanad.

I booked a Tirupathi Balaji tour package (without a special pass) through this agency, and it turned out to be one of the worst decisions of my life.

Firstly, I had booked a Volvo bus for the trip. However, just a day before departure, they informed me that the Volvo was unavailable and that they would be arranging another bus instead. To my disappointment, the bus provided was operated by a different agency, Vaibhav Travels, and was in extremely poor condition.

When we began the journey in Tirumala, the guide failed to mention that the darshan could take an exceptionally long time. We started walking for the darshan at 5:00 AM on Saturday and only completed it at 2:30 AM the next day. After that, we had to wait until 6:00 AM for the remaining people in the group to return before heading back.

Overall, this was the most exhausting and poorly managed trip I have ever experienced — truly the worst journey of my life.

Beware…
There is no special/Quick darshan included in their packages from past some days.

There is no queue jumping at darshan when u take this package.
So don’t think if they mention free darshan also, they would somehow skip queue for quick darshan.

You must wait as per the sarva darshana rules and number of people.

We had to wait in the sarva darshana queue. We Started at 5:30 am in the morning and got the darshan by night at 12:30 am. Also, they did not take us to padmavati temple since it was closed and would open at 5:00 am.

It’s completely wasteful to have Tirupati package tour if no special darshan or quick darshan arrangement were made by APTDC. Better go in normal volvo, have darshan and come back.

No special/ sheeghra dashan will be provided. their behaviour is very bad and rude . false promise for special dashan. Don’t waste your money and trust them

My wish has been fulfilled after 13 year’s. Weather, guide, driver, pilgrims, volunteers all are friendly.

While they were coming for pickup they did not prior informed and shared the pickup location. Which they should inform to passenger one day or 2 – 3 hours before. So, as a passenger we should feel difficulty to catch our bus on time.

The best part of booking the Tirupati one day package from Bangalore is the ease of having a good darshan without long waiting hours. The trip was time managed and the courteous staff took care of us so well. All in all, a wonderful experience!
