It is one of the oldest market in Bangalore established in 1929.Even though the city has changed a lot this place still has old charm. There are tea shops, bakeries, restaurants, flower, meat and fish stalls near this. St Gregorious Orthodox cathedral is adjacent to the market.

This place hasn’t changed much in decades. You can buy meat, fruit and vegetables here. You can also just wander through time in here.

Tranquil and cool place for those who do not love animals and want to get away from the heat. Fish man seemed cool but was not confident enough to approach. That’s on me, I was intimidated by the quantity of flies that he already had around his wares. We had a samosa outside which was OK, popular place with locals

A must visit in these place. Makkah Cafe - Ask for Hot Suliman ( Lime Tea). Sip it along with Chicken Samosa, Onion Samosa or Biscuits. Durga Bakery - Salt and Butter Biscuits, Dil Pasand ( Garnished Bread laced with nuts and raisins) I swear it the taste hasn't changed over years. Pls don't go by location or people around, you would freak out Didn't like, welcome to blame. Will take it.

Beautiful old church amongst old trees gives you the feeling of being at a hill station. The place is tranquil and transports you to another. There are simple nice eateries around the place too.
