Not sure if one can find so many advanced STEM books physically anywhere else. Some of the topics are so niche and deep that it fills one with awe and yet humility and intimidation. There are large discounts available but since rare academic books tend to be costly, you might still have to shell out in four figures for non mainstream books. The only drawback is the prominence of right wing literature in the leisure reading section.

One place for all your science books. I bought a lot of physics textbooks from there. The stock availablity might be seasonal though. Price won't be as cheap as Avenue road but books are all original and first hand and you only have to pay 80% of the mrp so definitely a good deal. The staff there are also really helpful. Actually one time the guy gave us homegrown mangoes for free . And the best part is its inside IISC so definitely check out iisc campus too if you happen to go here.

This is my 20 years old memory, in 2004 I've bought lot of physics books from here, Electricity & Magnetism by EM Purcell, mechanics by Kleppenner and Kolenkov.........almost spent 20000/-, was mad at physics and papering for IIT JAM......now I'm a proud & passionate physics teacher for 11th & 12th! This place is an unforgettable memory for me! Now they are selling books on Amazon too.....you can check the listing.
