One of the best decision in my life is to go to Dr. Shilpa GB ma’am for my delivery. When I wanted to have the normal delivery, we got suggestion from our friend and went for it. Thanks to Shilpa ma’am that my labour journey was so smooth. She and her entire team is so skilled and they did not disappoint us. I visited Shanthi gynec at my 32 weeks of pregnancy, starting from the consultation it was a very good experience. A heartfelt thanks to Dr. Shilpa GB along with her team, Dr. Sukeshini and Dr. Vidya who guided me throughout the consultations and Dr.Sachin who treated me during labour. They are the best. Also I would like to thank entire nursing staff who took care of me during hospital stay. Shanthi Gynec has best staffs who guide you well post delivery on breastfeed, food intake and recovery. Dr. Sanjay Sir, Paediatrician is very kind and good doctor who treats babies so well. I highly recommend Dr.Shilpa ma’am for anyone’s maternity journey. Once again Thank you so much ma’am. I went to this clinic with a lot of hope, but my experience was very disappointing. Initially, they acted quickly, said everything was fine, and gave some medicines claiming they would help with pregnancy. They asked us to return after 15 days, only to say there was a minor problem and that more medicines and blood tests were needed before proceeding. This cycle continued for 2–3 months. Every 15 days, my wife and I went back with hope, only to be told something new. Eventually, they said there was very little chance of natural pregnancy and suggested we go for a donor egg. This shocked us because my wife’s monthly cycle is regular and healthy. We were confused, stressed, and fell into depression — crying many nights. Later, they told us IVF would be the best option with a higher chance of success, but still pushed for the donor egg as an alternative. The cost for IVF was quoted at 2 lakhs. I’m writing this review to warn others — if you have a lot of money to spend, you can go ahead, but otherwise, be careful. This clinic, in my experience, played with our psychological and emotional state while taking a lot of money. Within just 2–3 months, they charged us around 40–50 thousand for blood tests and medicines alone. Still I feel very bad why went to this clinic.

While I appreciated that Dr. Shilpa’s consultations were quick, I often felt they lacked depth. Many of our concerns went unanswered, and the standard response was simply, "It’s normal," which didn’t provide much clarity. My husband, who is usually cheerful and respectful, also felt dismissed during our visits. When I asked for reassurance about a normal delivery, it was brushed off without any encouraging response. Eventually, I decided to switch back to my regular doctor of over a decade—someone I had initially moved away from only due to relocating. Surprisingly, this decision led Dr. Shilpa to end a 15-year-long friendship with that doctor, which felt very unprofessional and unnecessary. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and didn’t reflect the care or maturity one would expect during such an important phase. That said, I’m someone who always values gratitude. I’ll remain thankful to Dr. Shilpa for being part of my pregnancy journey. One thing I truly appreciated, though, was that she never prescribed anything unnecessary—that’s definitely commendable. However, my personal experience left me feeling unsupported, and I chose to continue my delivery with a doctor I felt more comfortable with.

From our very first consultation, she made us feel comfortable and confident, taking the time to listen patiently, answer all our questions, and provide clear, reassuring guidance every step of the way. Their warm and organized care made a big difference and contributed to our overall positive experience. One small area of improvement could be the waiting time, which tends to be longer due to the high number of patients. Streamlining appointment schedules a bit more could help enhance the experience further. We wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Shilpa G.B. and the entire team to anyone looking for skilled, sincere, and compassionate maternity care. They are truly a blessing to their patients!
