The experience i generated at Fortis hospital, Bannerghatta Road, Bengaluru,India is something I will not forget in a hurry. The team of Oncologists headed by Dr.Niti Raizada treated me like their own son;they never allowed my ailment to overwhelm me. They even came to my aid when I was financially down,their coming together to review a patient's overall health whenever on appointment is something that I have not seen in any hospital in my life;their commitment to patients well-being and recovery is a story for another day,i will tell the whole world about the pleasant experience I had in this hospital. I'm returning to Nigeria fully treated without any trace of cancer cell again,may God keep you people for me,I'm eternally grateful.......Mr.Uchenna Josiah (formerly a cancer patient).!

I am not one to write the reviews but I am blown away at how this Fortis Hospital (banerghatta)and Doctors are. I highly recommend to visit this doctor. Dr.Niti Raizada Mam (team) is very good professionally. Will give you the best treatment/ advice. Friendly nature. Down to earth attitude. Soft spoken. Always available for help. I have the highest praise for Dr. Niti madam From the very first consultation, she displayed exceptional expertise, empathy, and professionalism. She patiently explained every step of the treatment plan, addressing all my concerns with care and compassion. Her personalized approach made me feel truly supported, and her dedication throughout the journey was incredibly reassuring. Niti's team is generally wonderful and empathetic; however, the same cannot be said for Niti herself. She often makes her patients feel as though they should be honored to be in her presence, reflecting a narcissistic attitude evident even in her online presence (She has labeled herself the 'best oncologist in Bangalore'). She is pompous and dismissive of concerns raised by patients and their families. Mentioning a second opinion to her is ill-advised, as her ego will likely cause her to de-prioritize your care. My father was under her care for several months, and the recurring issues we encountered included: 1. She never made time to see him outside of her outpatient department (OPD). She claimed to be too busy and insisted her team had everything under control. However, other doctors we consulted emphasized the importance of in-person interaction (even people at Fortis have acknowledged the lack of empathy from Dr Niti - but are too scared to come forward), especially during extensive and taxing chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments. 2. She persistently pushed for continuous chemotherapy and immunotherapy sessions without considering the patient's condition. For instance, after my father underwent an intensive gall bladder surgery, she insisted on resuming chemotherapy immediately without allowing him time to recover. This is just one example of how she has prioritized revenue over patient well-being. If possible, avoid her care. While she may be highly qualified, there are equally qualified oncologists at other hospitals who are also empathetic—something you and your loved ones will come to greatly appreciate through the course of this physically and mentally intensive journey.

Our experience with Dr. Niti Raizada has been deeply disappointing. She never seemed to make time for her patients. While her team of junior doctors (most of them )who were truly lovely and caring, were always available, we never saw her visit her patients in the wards, despite our repeated requests. I vividly remember a time when my father, the patient, was too ill to come to the hospital, yet one of the junior doctors, Dr. Prajwal, was unhelpful in getting any opinion from the head doctor. Dr. Niti showed no empathy towards her patients and never seemed interested in engaging in meaningful conversations with them. Her primary focus appeared to be admitting patients for chemotherapy, without considering whether they were physically fit enough to undergo treatment. Personalized care is non-existent here. The doctor's main priority seemed to be generating revenue for the hospital, which, unfortunately, often feels like it's exploiting patients financially. The lack of transparency and support in such hospitals is troubling, and the billing practices need to be thoroughly audited. In oncology, especially, we expect a level of compassion and humanity which is as important as physically treating the patient. Doctors who cannot empathize with their patients should reconsider specializing in such a sensitive field. The doctor did not even have the decency to express condolences to a family after losing a family member who had been under their care in oncology.

Lucky that a dear one is under the safe and caring hands of Dr. Niti Raizada. Her compassion speaks volumes as Dr. Niti goes the extra mile to ensure that treatment is provided with utmost comfort. From day one, she has taken the time to meticulously explain the available treatment options. Her clarity, confidence and professionalism clearly shows her expertise in cancer-care. Most importantly, she's been a true blessing as her benevolence and empathy towards her patients and family members have made us feel reassured and well-supported even during the toughest battles in the journey. Dr. Niti Raizada has been a beacon of light through this period, and we're ever-so-grateful for her exceptional care.
