As an intern, This senior care center provides a comprehensive range of activities and interventions to support the holistic well-being of its residents. These include cognitive stimulation interventions designed to enhance mental faculties, such as memory, problem-solving, and attention,through engaging activities like puzzles, discussions, and creative tasks. Additionally, the center emphasizes physical exercises, which are crucial for maintaining mobility, balance, and overall physical health. These can range from guided walks and gentle stretches to more targeted physiotherapy sessions. My personal involvement in creating daily activity plans and facilitating exercises allowed me to witness firsthand how these interventions contribute to their overall dignity and quality of life. This experience has been incredibly enriching, offering valuable insights into the daily lives and unique needs of the elderly population, and reinforcing the critical role that dedicated care and thoughtful programming play in their well-being.

As a physiotherapy student, I had the wonderful opportunity to spend time at nightingale dementia day care and I was deeply impressed by the overall environment and level of care provided. The atmosphere in the home is calm, welcoming, and uplifting — a true reflection of the love and respect the staff have for the residents. The behavior of the staff stood out to me the most. Every team member, from HOD(Justina ma'am),caregivers to support staff, treated the elderly residents with kindness, patience, and dignity. They were always attentive to each person's needs, especially those living with dementia, and went above and beyond to ensure comfort and emotional well-being. I also appreciated how physiotherapy was thoughtfully integrated into daily routines, helping residents maintain their mobility and independence. This experience has truly inspired me as a future healthcare professional, and I’m grateful to have learned in such a positive and supportive envionment Thank you❤️

Had a great experience with nightingale trust dementia day care centre. They have the most compassionate staff who pay close attention to each and every person. They engage each elderly with a exercises and help their cognitive skills development daily. The place feels homely and comfy and each person is treated with the same respect, care and love. It's an amazing place

It was lovely interacting with all the elders there and they were very active throughout and participated in almost all the cognitive and yoga and physiotherapy sessions. They were very curious and excited to participate in the cognitive activities. Spending time with the elderly was truly enriching. The supervisor and the staff guided us throughout and were very supportive.

An absolutely delightful center for the elderly with dementia. The staff are very well equipped and engage the elderly with lovely activities. Justina and all the staff are amazing and exude positivity which is reflected in the environment.
