Good bookstore that provides books on sanatana dharma , puranas, vedas etc. Best book store in bangalore for Hinduism and Sanskrit books. There are books in English, sanskrit, kannada. Found many rare and out of print books here. They are not able to give any discount, but given that many books of these are rare to find even online, we must support such independent bookstores.
A nice shop . They have two separate sections .One for Kannada and another for other languages. Its real treat to see so many good books at one place. They have books to cater diverse paths . The staff are very friendly and i was really amazed by their knowledge. Kudos to the owners of the shop for maintaining such treasure of books.
We had specifically come to this shop from far distance They are supposed to open at evening 4:30, but no one to open even at 4:50pm even after we had called them in advance at noon 12. They did not respond for back to back calls between 4:25 to 4:50. We had to wait for long. Once opened books that we enquired were not there (this is still okay) Then we had bought 4 other books from here. Not even single rupee discount Casher lady had worst attitude. Do not even listen to customers what they are enquiring. Forget about discount, Worst behaviour was that they denied to provide extra cover when it was raining heavily while we were leaving from the shop even after we ask for it (there was no sign of rain when we came initially otherwise we would come with covers along) This shop is not really worth to visit.
Question : Please let me know if this book volumes are available and cost. Book: Kannada Translation of P V Kane's History of Dharmasastras. Published by Mysore University
I recently visited the Vedanta Book House in Chamrajpet, Bangalore, this book house have variety of books, including academic, general, spiritual and stationery supplies. I would like to appreciate the store person and in charge for having wide selection of books. For your information, they are selling all the books on MRP basis . It ranks No. 2 among bookstores in its area and No. 19 in Bangalore overall ( as per the google data).
This is a go-to place for spiritual books. I have bought Bhagavatha purana, Sundara Kanda books here. They have a good collection of books, including some for children.
Great collection of books related to spiritual, sanathana dharma, vedas and puranas. Books of all languages are there and they are properly segregated. Good and friendly staff. They courier also if required.
