Wooden Street - Furniture Shop/Store in HSR Layout, Bangalore

Update as on 3rd July 2025: This is the worst customer service and production team ever to exist. We say we are READY to purchase from wooden street again - just give us the option of refund to our wooden street wallet for the entire set. And we receive a callback saying they won’t refund. They will only replace the table and ONE chair and send a carpenter for the wobbly bench and the other chair. The most easiest solution would be to go with the customer requesting to replace the set and allow us the freedom of purchasing the same or another set from wooden street. The customer care representative has been Vishnu who has been apathetic and elitist - like this is HIS 1.5 L investment. DO NOT BUY. GOD FORBID YOU HAVE ANY REPAIRS. they will say it is because of usage. Yes a ONE year usage in a teak wood table has caused it to go to pieces. We will be speaking to the attorney for legal options just because we feel so humiliated and suppressed even after offering to buy from the same store again. A truly horrible place if, god forbid, you want any of your furniture serviced or replaced because there’s a manufacturing defect. We invested upwards of 3.5-4Lakhs in wooden street furniture for our new home by purchasing dining tables, coffee table, console table, a L shaped sofa and sofa cum bed back in August 2024. Shortly after we called for carpentry service for dining table for wobbly legs, another service when the armrest had COME OFF from the seat for TWO chairs and handles were broken. And the process of getting a carpenter service assigned is like a enormous beaurocratic system where one person will assign it to the next, then the next, then someone will assign a carpenter and then someone else etc etc and it’s already a week you’re sitting at home with broken chairs and eating on the floor after paying 1.5 lakhs for a table. We didn’t even bother to call for a carpentry service when the washer from the legs of our bench broke off because we are so tired of this effed up system. Pay through the nose for purchase and then run behind these morons for service. Recently we approached the wooden street store directly because the entire table STARTED TO TILT. The legs are designed in such a way that they are all slanted and not straight. So three of the legs start Spreading out and the table started to fall. We went to the store directly because at this point, we are seriously doubting the quality of this piece. The store representative at the time Mr Rakesh tells us he will do one thing and get it replaced for us. Which was a fair solution because this is a big investment. Replacements do take weeks and so we did request for a patch up work to be done by sending a carpenter. Days go by and the carpenter is assigned for June 25th but doesn’t show up. There’s no call or any update. Then we follow up again and then a guy comes and patches up. Soon the ticket is abandoned and closed with no resolution about replacement. Called again today (July 1 2025) and Vishnu from customer support says he can send in ANOTHER CARPENTER. At this point, we will be leaning towards pursuing this legally because we find atrocious that we have spent 4 lakhs in a place and 1.5 lakhs for a table and this is the resolution : plus after warranty period ends YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN. These guys may be selling solid wood but have NO IDEA ABOUT HOW TO DESIGN A HEAVY PIECE OF WOOD FOR STABILITY. Stay away

Shop has good collection. But they have less items for display when compared to their online website. Staff was good and well at explaining things. I personally felt price was bit higher. Multiple types of beds, Sofas and many other wood items, decorative items were available. Over all good experience visiting Wooden Street.

We visited wooden street in April 2024 to purchase a few items for a room. We ordered a Sofa cum bed and a Celestal 4 door wardrobe with dressing table. We ordered it from the store expecting better support and service but all turned out to be a major disappointment. After placing order ID 627327, we were told that the sofa cum bed will be delivered immediately but the wardrobe will take 2-3 weeks for delivery. This was acceptable so we agreed and did the full payment. While the sofa was delivered and installation was done on time, the wardrobe became a nightmare due to the poor customer service. The wardrobe was delivered within the timeline but when the person came for installation they found that 4 planks were missing. Those being the primary ones ,it was impossible to assemble the wardrobe. On the other hand another set of duplicate planks was sent to us. The carpenter contacted wooden street, I also called the customer service and also the shop to inform this and was told a ticket is raised I'll get an update. However next day another carpenter called me regarding installation and when I informed the situation he told me that no ticket has been raised. I again called up customer service who promised to check with carpentry team and get back within 20 minutes which didn't happen. On the second call after an hour same response. Calling the store was of no help either. Now they have given a time line of another 3 weeks for fixing the issue and room will stay unusable till then. The quality of service is evident only when you face an exception and here it is clear that wooden street is incapable of handling exceptions. Would recommend to avoid anything that involves too many parts as they tend to mess things up

Be Careful Before Buying – Poor After-Sales Support order id - 664951 I purchased a sofa-cum-bed from Wooden Street. While the product looked good initially, just a day after installation when I simply rotated the unit as direction was not as per vastu. After about 10 months of normal use, the side panel completely came out of its fitting. When I raised a warranty request, it was promptly denied. Their reason? "Damage due to location change" – without even inspecting the site or the product. It feels like they are quick to find excuses to deny service rather than provide real support. This experience left me quite disappointed. The product may look fine, but the build quality and after-sales service are questionable. Be cautious when buying from Wooden Street – their post-sale support is not as reliable as it should be

Absolutely Appalling Service from Wooden Street HSR - AVOID! Update as on 1st July: sir yet again I believed your words for delivery within 2 days. It still shows in production. PLEASE CANCEL MY ORDER. Have some respect for your own words. Learn to stand by it My experience with Wooden Street HSR has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I strongly advise potential customers to look elsewhere. I placed an order with them, and despite explicitly asking the store manager, Prakash, for a worst-case scenario delivery date due to their known delays, he promised delivery within 6 weeks. We are now well past that date, and my order is nowhere in sight. My attempts to contact Store Manager Prakash have been futile – he consistently ignores my calls. The "customer support" team is equally unhelpful, offering empty reassurances like "ma'am, we are expediting" and even providing a guarantee via email that dispatch would happen in 5 days. That guarantee was a lie; nothing has been dispatched. To make matters worse, I have repeatedly requested a cancellation and a full refund, and Wooden Street is completely ignoring these requests. They are not processing the cancellation nor addressing my demand for my money back. This is unacceptable and feels like a scam. It is broken within a week. Alignment is not proper.. inside it is completely plywood and MDF boad. Not worth and poor quality hardware is used for the track.. called thier customer care.. no proper support from them to fix the issue..

We bought a 3 seater velvet sofa worth 35k+ and within a week the velvet got rubbed off from multiple places. We contacted the customer care, and all they had to say that it's standard product and they can't do anything. Infact they can't even send anyone to examine whats wrong with it. Horrible product quality and more horrible product support. Also, don't trust whatever their sales guy or store manager has to say, they all are just liars and won't pickup your phone or answer on WA once product is sold.
