Gandhi Bhavana

Bangalore is a Metro City with different kinds of people.soo many travellers outsiders and different languages and different originated people will stay there and work there. It's a costly city to Live but here is a place where we can stay budget friendly. 200 +gst for sharing beds 500+ gst for an individual room. It's in the center of the city and walkable for sampagi road Green Line metro. Best food available just opposite to it. We have a Bangalore cafe. Gandhi Bavan is a place of peace, history, and social service. It reflects the values and teachings of Mahatma Gandhi, promoting simplicity and community welfare. The environment is calm, and the staff are welcoming and committed to their mission. A must-visit for anyone who values social harmony and wants to learn more about Gandhi's legacy. Need to mail them prior to coming to stay here and know the vacancy. There are conference halls and a library,Kadhi emporium.etc. It was a very pleasant stay during my trip to Bangalore.

Centrally located place. 4 halls are available. One on the ground floor Bapu hall seats 140 people with a door behind leading to a space where nourishment can be served. The 1st floor has Vinobha Hall. The 2nd floor has an AC hall named after Mahadev Desai which can host 180 people and has good accoustics, 2 toilets on the stage, no green room. Costed around 25k, prior booking needed. There is a conference room for 4k which can accomodate about 30 -40 people. A massive hall in the 2nd floor is also available with plastic chairs and very low ceiling.

The institution continues to uphold the Gandhian agenda through the programmes they host there. The place itself has an old world charm, and is reminiscent of institutions designed in the 70s, 80s and early 90s. It has a lift, comfortable stairs, and has a central courtyard which provides visual relief. Those with mobility issues should not face a problem getting to the upper floors. One problem you could face is the lack of adequate parking within the campus, which forces most car owners to find space in the neighbouring streets. That could be a challenge on weekdays. Ideally get there by public transport or cabs.

Well maintained place with a pretty good library and a spacious auditorium. Lot of events and activities organised for people in their golden years. An inexpensive lunch facility for the aged. Govt can still do a little better for this type of facilities.

The auditorium is small and can accommodate approx 200 members. Found the stage also to be small. Decent and found the auditorium clean.. washrooms are not maintained well.

Good place for conference,meeting.but maintainance is not good.drinking water not avlbe.Water purifier is there but its not clean.washroom not clean.bad experience .
