Coorg Nelji Hills Trek
Just got back from an unforgettable weekend trek with PTU, and I honestly can’t stop thinking about it! ⛰️
We kicked things off on a Friday night with some fun icebreaker sessions that instantly set the vibe right. Music, laughs, and the excitement of the journey ahead kept the energy high all night as we made our way to Coorg, reaching around 5 AM.
After a quick power nap, we got ready and hopped onto open jeeps for our adventure to Nelji Hills. The trek itself was a mix of thrill and nature’s raw beauty—lush greenery, misty trails, and yep, a LOT of leeches (adds to the story, right?). But all of that was worth it when we reached the top—the view was absolutely breathtaking! ✨
We spent a good while at the summit soaking in the views and clicking tons of pictures (some of them truly Instagram-worthy ). The descent was just as fun, and after getting back, we all bonded over card games, mafia, and some hilarious verbal games that kept us up till 1 AM.
The next day, before heading back, we visited a beautiful dam and a serene monastery—both adding a peaceful, scenic end to the trip. It rained on and off throughout the weekend, but rather than spoil anything, it added to the whole monsoon-trek vibe. ️
And oh, the return bus ride? Full of dumb charades, dares, laughter, and non-stop fun.
Huge shoutout to PTU for organizing such a well-balanced trip—bit of adventure, lots of nature, and plenty of bonding. If you’re looking for a weekend escape that mixes fun, friendship, and forest trails, this one’s a must-do.
Special shoutout to the trek leaders Arun and Anjali. They were absolutely fantastic.

Perfectly planned Gokarna Beach Trek with Plan the Unplanned!
The 2-day itinerary was very well thought out and executed perfectly.
Day 1 involved trailing across five beautiful beaches in order: Belekan Beach, Paradise Beach, Half Moon Beach, Om Beach, and Kudle Beach — finally staying overnight at an unexplored sixth beach. The stay was absolutely wonderful with sea-facing tents, ample leisure time at the beach, a mesmerizing sunset, a cozy bonfire, and a peaceful sunrise experience the next morning.
Day 2 was more relaxed, starting with a visit to Murudeshwar Temple, enjoying authentic temple food, a short scenic walk among the mangrove trees, and ending with a refreshing boating trip through the mangrove forest.
Special thanks to our trek leaders, Madhav and Devam, for their excellent coordination, enthusiasm, and people management. Their combined experience made the trek smooth, enjoyable, and memorable for everyone — from beginners to seasoned trekkers.
Highly recommend PTU and this trek for anyone looking for a perfectly balanced and memorable beach trekking experience!

Had an absolutely amazing time with Plan The Unplanned on the Tadiandamol Trek! From the beautiful trails to the summit views, it was a weekend packed with fun, laughter, and great memories.
Huge shoutout to our trek leads Prakash and Bhargava – you both made the experience smooth, safe, and so much more fun! Whether it was guiding us on the trail, hosting a super fun game night, or leading those intense Mafia sessions on the bus, you guys nailed it.
Special mention: Prakash’s dance moves were a total vibe, and Bhargava’s energy was absolutely contagious throughout the trip!
Some unforgettable moments:
Enjoying Puliyogare (pulohora) with crunchy peanuts right at the top of the summit – a true trekker’s delight!
Relishing hot pakodas back at the stay – nothing beats that post-trek hunger fix!
Grateful for the connections, the vibe, and the memories made. Highly recommend Plan The Unplanned for anyone looking to explore, unwind, and make new friends along the way. Can’t wait for the next adventure!

The Gokarna Beach Trek with Plan The Unplanned was the perfect weekend getaway! Day 1 began with creative introduction games that broke the ice wonderfully, followed by a group dinner.
Day 2 was packed with adventure – starting at Belakan Beach where trek lead Devam convinced everyone to play beach volleyball (we were hilariously terrible!). We then trekked through steep terrain to Half Moon Beach, where Maddy found us a perfect breezy spot to rest. The trail to Om Beach was absolutely mesmerizing – pristine blue waters against brown rocks and green trees. After lunch at Om Beach, we continued to Kudle Beach where we celebrated with ice cream.
Day 3 offered a more relaxed pace with a visit to the majestic Murudeshwar Temple, delicious authentic temple food, a scenic walk among mangrove trees, and a refreshing boat ride through the mangrove forest.
Trek leads Devam and Maddy were exceptional – patient, enthusiastic, and attentive. Devam’s volleyball enthusiasm and Maddy’s ghost story sessions during nighttime added so much fun! They ensured everyone trekked at their own pace while providing help whenever needed.
The facilities matched what was promised in the itinerary, and the entire experience was well-organized. If you’re considering this trek, don’t hesitate – it’s the ideal mix of physical activity, stunning scenery, cultural experiences, and new friendships. Your Instagram feed and soul will thank you!

I decided to go solo trek with Plan The Unplanned. Turns out it was one of the best decisions I made this year. The team was very friendly and supportive throughout the trek, from the moment I boarded the bus to returning back and beyond. The kudremukh trek is approximately 20 km trek up and down. During this time both the guides ( Shivam and Prajwal) supported, encouraged and motivated us to reach the peak. We had a lot of fun and team bonding moments at the nearby Bella home stay as well. I would Highly recommend to the reader to go with them if you are planning to go somewhere unplanned. We also learnt a lot from them about the places and trekking during our journey.
Summary : Just go ahead with PTU for your vacation and trip. You say the place and the dates ,they have it all planned for you. And the prices are very reasonable as well.
Month of trek: May 2025
Update 1: June 2025
Went on another trek with these guys and it was just as I hoped it would be : excellent, adventurous and friendly group. I have to say PTU is doing really good in teaching and training the trek leads. They know exactly how to keep the crowd engaged and make sure no one is alienated. This is something i feel makes PTU stand out among others. This time I went to Tadiandamol peak and Namdroling Monastery Golden Temle as solo ( again ). And just like last time at kudremukh, I enjoyed the trek and the company. Made really good friends. Played some games , Mafia was one such game. Trek leads Prakash and Bhargava made sure everyone had a great time and we’re with us the while 2 days. With 2 confirmed trek of good memories and adventures, I can say that PTU is very welcoming and friendly for everyone ( especially if your solo or a small group). They really took the name seriously : Plan The Unplanned

I recently had the most amazing Uttari Beta trekking experience with **Plan The Unplanned**, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. This was my **first ever early morning trek**, and while staying awake the night was a challenge, it was absolutely **worth every bit of the struggle**. Watching the sunrise after a refreshing climb was a moment I’ll never forget.
A **special thanks to our trek lead, Nitish**, who truly made the whole experience even more memorable. His energy, enthusiasm, and engaging games kept the group lively and connected throughout the journey. Beyond the fun, Nitish also provided clear and expert guidance every step of the way, ensuring that even first-timer’s felt safe and confident.
From the scenic views to the great company and well-organized trek, it was an experience I’ll definitely cherish — and I’m already looking forward to my next adventure with Plan The Unplanned!

The TTD Information Center is a welcome resource for devotees and those planning pilgrimages. It provides a valuable service in connecting individuals with the spiritual journey to Tirumala. The availability of Tirupati laddu on Saturdays is a particularly appreciated convenience, eliminating the need for lengthy travels.
Beyond just providing sweets, the center facilitates essential information regarding seva bookings, making the planning process considerably smoother. This support, combined with the peaceful atmosphere and temple information, enhances the overall sense of devotion and simplifies arrangements for those seeking a connection to the revered temple. It’s a genuinely helpful hub and devotional resource.

Thanks to a well organised trip to Prayag during Mahakumbh. Being aware of that this trip would be chaotic & stressful we did jump in for the last batch of SDS. Thanks to Arun who travelled with us for making this trip quite the opposite for f chaotic. He did manage well to get the info well ahead to keep us moving rather than being stuck at one place in famous Mahakumbh traffic jams. This did come with longer duration of drive times me but I would prefer this pain than being stand still for hours. Kudos to the local driver combo as well who had a big role to play being abreast with the routes win th Uttar Pradesh. A uneventful holy dip at Prayagraj triveni sangam, Sri Ram Lalla darshan at Ayodhya & signing off with darshan of Kashi Vishwanath on Maha shivarathri should be credited to SDS team & to their local connects. And how can someone forget the kitchen team of Ganesh & Co. who fed us well all through the trip. Big shout out to them as well. This group trip being my first group tour was as good it can be considering it was during the Mahakumbh. Thanks to others who embarked this pious journey for a memorable tour. Everything was not perfect , could have been better , but hey we all know Perfection is always a journey which SDS would complete. Kudos & Thanks to Arun & his team !

★★★★★ Exceptional Kumbh Mela, Kashi & Ayodhya Tour!
I had an incredible experience with SDS Travels for my Kumbh Mela, Kashi, and Ayodhya tour, and I can’t thank Arun enough for his outstanding service! Traveling solo to such spiritually significant places—especially with crores of people at Kumbh Mela—could have been overwhelming, but Arun being the owner of travel agency he was totally down to earth man , he made sure I was always safe, comfortable, and well taken care of.
From well-planned logistics to delicious food and smooth travel arrangements, everything was managed seamlessly. Exploring Kashi (Varanasi) and Ayodhya was truly divine, and the entire journey felt hassle-free because of Arun’s dedication and expertise.
Their professionalism, care, and attention to detail make all the difference. A truly unforgettable experience.

Balaji Package From Bangalore – Tirupati Balaji Darshan Packages appears to offer a convenient way to organize a pilgrimage to Tirupati. Many users highlight the ease of booking transportation and accommodation, especially beneficial for those traveling solo or with families. The bus travel, frequently a Volvo or semi-sleeper, seems to be a recurring positive aspect of the service, contributing to a more comfortable journey.
While the overall experience seems largely positive, potential travelers should carefully review the specifics of their package. The inclusion of special darshan tickets and the timing of the journey are frequently mentioned. Ensuring clarity on these details beforehand is crucial for a smooth and stress-free visit, maximizing the devotion of the trip.
Customer Reviews
I would suggest not to go from this travel. They have fooled us. There website has mentioned that 300rs special dashan ticket(which take 4-5 hrs for darshan) included in the tour package, They sent us in the free Darshan ticket which has 22 hrs waiting. We have joined the line at 8:00 am in the morning and got the Darshan next day 6am
They told us that Darshan will take hardly 5 hrs, and we will provide you lunch after your Darshan. That is all scam.
We have fooled by this 4 star rating, but don’t trust this.

Tour package is good. They pick you up at 10 pm in a volvo semi sleeper bus. You will reach the hotel at 4 am. You might have to wait for the room to get empty. Rooms are given for 45 mins to freshen up. Then they take you for breakfast (idli, vada, pongal). After that they will take you to the temple for Darshan in special darshan ticket Rs 300. Then you go for lunch. Post that there will be visit to another temple and then return for your location (mine Bangalore). They charge around 2400/- per person all inclusive

AP Tourism offers a wide range of travel packages aimed at showcasing the state’s rich cultural heritage and natural beauty. The organization seems to provide services including bus tours, hotel accommodations, and pilgrimage packages, potentially catering to both domestic and international visitors. A common theme appears to be providing accessible options for exploring diverse destinations within Andhra Pradesh.
The overall impression suggests that while there’s an attempt to offer comprehensive travel solutions, the consistency of the experience is a concern. Customer service and the quality of amenities, like buses and hotels, appear to be areas needing continuous improvement. It is probable they face challenges in maintaining uniform standards across different service providers partnering with them. Package variety and scope is clearly a strength, but reliability of execution requires attention.

We had booked 7 tickets for tirupati package from Bangalore office. Harekrishna was person who attended us in the beginning and was cordial. However, later a lady spoke to us in very unethical language and also in a very harsh and rude tone. When we requested to speak politely she rudely responded that this is how she speaks. I am deeply saddened by this experience. She was not ready to disclose her name. When I enquired with others about her , everyone has had bitter experience.

The pathetic service provider i ever experienced in my life. We booked tickets for 25 nov 2024, bus service number is 908 and with driver experience we meet with accident and I got Hairline Fracture. When I asked this people for money back they stop responding to me. Even they don’t have sympathy if anything goes wrong with someone life. They just want money. They don’t take responsibility on the name of God.
It’s my suggestion please don’t book there service otherwise you will be end by any accident or anything.

We booked tirupati tour package and had a very horrible experience. The bus was supposed to be a neu electrical bus as per booking, rather in actual it was a normal bus in which AC ducts were broken. The hotel was not an hotel, but an old broken piece of room, not cleaned. Even soap was not there, we had to pay 60 rs. for one soap. The tour guide was shouting that nothing is including in package and go and ask the tour owner for soap. the breakfast and lunch was horrible in taste and they denied to give even spoons. The bus from tirupati to tirumala was a local broken bus, barely made it to the destination. The tour guide illegally charged 50 rs. per head for keeping mobile, which was not informed to us initially. We paid 6000 for package, and didn’t recieve any facility. Either the tour owner is eating money or the service providers like hotels and meal providers along with the tour guide. A strict no for taking any service from APTDC.

Booked online with APTDC for Tirupati package from Bangalore. Supposed to be high end bus, despite the name BENZ, it was in a very bad conditions, seats were filthy, upholstery was smelly and murky. Charged huge amount for pathetic services. Never to use APTDC service again.
srinivasulu chitty (☆ 1/5)

Worst rooms are given for freshener up in Tirupati. Cant imagine rooms worse than this. At least maintain the basic cleaning of rooms, not cleaned from many months, not even changed bedsheets from years.
Sona Bakale (☆ 1/5)

Please don’t choose APTDC package for Tirupathi Darshan.
Instead go for KSRTC package in Volvo Bus.
You will regret if you choose this Andhra Pradesh tourism.
Rooms are poor & if you go with family you’ll suffer even more because their services are even poor. Most of people who opt for this Tirupathi package are Kannadigas from Bangalore and the entire management speaks Telugu and they do not even understand Kannada and you’ll regret later. We went in group of 11 and it was the worst nightmare including the staffs behaviour and services offered
KSRTC offers premium services at least but since for the days we go KSRTC packages were full we had no option we went for this

**Review of APDTC Travels: Disappointing Experience**
My recent trip with APDTC Travels turned out to be a rather unpleasant experience. Despite booking a ticket for a specific bus, I was informed upon arrival that the bus had been changed without prior notice. Not only was I inconvenienced by this sudden alteration, but I was also charged an additional fee for the new ticket.
Upon boarding the replacement bus, I was dismayed to find that the condition of the sleeper coach was subpar. The lack of cleanliness and maintenance made for an uncomfortable journey, further exacerbated by the fact that the showering facilities were either nonexistent or dysfunctional, cutting my showering time in half and leaving me without water.
Additionally, the bedding provided was dirty, which only added to the overall dissatisfaction of the trip. Despite opting for Sugam Travel, I found myself in a coach belonging to Neugo Lite, a discrepancy that further contributed to the confusion and disappointment.
Moreover, the lack of proper sanitary washrooms along the journey meant enduring long waits for facilities, especially considering the necessity for Darshan. The absence of efficient arrangements for quick Darshan only added to the frustration of the overall experience.
My visit on 12/3/2024 was nothing short of pathetic, with various aspects of the journey falling far below acceptable standards. Overall, my experience with APDTC Travels was highly disappointing, marred by poor communication, inadequate facilities, and a general lack of consideration for passenger comfort and satisfaction.

IRCTC offers a convenient way to arrange rail travel and related tourism packages. Their strengths lie in streamlining the booking process, often providing access to a wider range of train options than might be readily available otherwise. Booking efficiency is a notable advantage for travelers seeking structured itineraries and pre-arranged logistics.
While the overall organization can be beneficial, consistency in quality is an area for improvement. Reports sometimes highlight inconsistencies in the cleanliness and maintenance of train facilities. Service reliability, especially regarding food and bathroom upkeep, could be a key focus to enhance the passenger experience and ensure a more uniformly positive journey.

IRCTC Munnar–Alleppey Rail Tour Package Review
We recently completed the Munnar–Alleppey Rail Tour Package (5N/6D) by IRCTC Tourism (Comfort Class) — and it was overall a memorable, well-managed, and scenic holiday experience. The logistics, travel arrangements, and accommodation were thoughtfully planned, with a few areas needing improvement.
What We Loved:
Pre-trip coordination: Train tickets and itinerary were shared 2 days before departure, which helped us plan confidently.
Hotel stay in Munnar (ABAD Copper Castle) was excellent — amazing views from the room, spotless interiors, and warm, professional staff. Truly a peaceful stay amidst nature.
The houseboat ride in Alleppey was a calming, unique experience. The cruise through the backwaters was beautiful, and the onboard staff were friendly.
Private AC vehicle and driver were reliable, punctual, and made travel comfortable.
What Can Be Improved:
Train journey (Kanyakumari Express) was disappointing. Bathrooms were not maintained, smelly, and lacked water for most of the 12-hour ride. This made the experience uncomfortable, especially for women and senior citizens. Basic hygiene and water supply need urgent attention.
Houseboat cleanliness was a letdown — floors were dusty, waste papers left around, and it didn’t feel guest-ready. We had to wear slippers indoors throughout. Also, while food was fresh, it was too oily for our taste.
Food at ABAD Copper Castle was the only downside of an otherwise great stay — the meals didn’t taste good, and we avoided ordering again.
Final Thoughts:
If you’re looking for a semi-guided, peaceful getaway through Kerala, this IRCTC package is great value. The itinerary is well thought out, and the scenic beauty of Munnar and Alleppey really shines. Just be prepared for a few rough edges in execution — mainly around food and cleanliness.
We’d definitely recommend this tour for couples or families, but with the hope that IRCTC improves on-ground hygiene and food quality for a fully 5-star experience.

The worst of worst! Can’t even express how disappointed we are choosing irctc! Train delayed by 2 hrs. Not sure what’s the point of booking in advance when it feels like an unreserved compartment! Horrible! Never choosing Indian railways ever again! Not recommending IRCTC to anyone! You wasted our entire day!

After the horrible stories we hear about Indian railways, this was a short haul train journey of Shatabdi from Chennai to Bangalore but their pantry and food service was pretty good! So yes had to share this image!

Staff was helpful. Limited or no options for booking coaches from Bangalore to and fro Thrissur.
Struggled hard to locate the office as the new location situated in the IDBI complex in Rajajinagar was not updated in the Google map. Will be helpful if updated soon.

Universal Travel And Tourism appears to offer a diverse range of travel packages. Based on available information, they seem to specialize in religious tours and pilgrimage arrangements, showcasing their potential strength in organizing complex itineraries. They are notable for their focus on providing comprehensive tour planning, encompassing transportation and accommodation booking.
However, it’s important to note that the reliability of their service delivery appears inconsistent. While some customers express satisfaction with the arrangements and responsiveness of specific team members, others report significant issues. Customer service seems to be an area where improvement is needed, as some reviewers highlight communication breakdowns and unmet promises. A careful assessment of the specific package and assigned team is advisable before booking.

Customer Reviews
Don’t plan anything with universal adventure. We booked a 2 Dham Yatra, and they provided zero service. We had to do everything on our own. We paid around 80%, but they still demanded full payment upfront without providing any services. The operation coordinator, Neha, had no information about our hotel accommodations. They initially promised specific hotels, but upon arrival, they changed the hotels, claiming it was part of the same chain. Instead, they provided rooms in under-construction buildings with basic facilities, labelling them as budget hotels.
Rishabh Singh (☆ 1/5)

Firstly he gave me an overall package (taxi and hotel stay) of Rs. 45k for 5 days. He gave a good vehicle (Innova Crysta) which we already agreed to. But even after repeated requisitions of each day hotel stay, he was not informing me my hotel in different cities. Only because he was booking worst hotels in those cities. We were 2 couples and on the third night he booked a single room with 2 double beds in it and asked us to stay together. He just had to say that this is a rushy weekend and you should be thankful that I booked a hotel even with a single room. Nightmare experience in each day of my hotel stay of 5 days. On the top of it, on the third day, he escalated the package to 59k citing some confusion reason. Later we agreed to settle on 55k. All he had to say was we are into 20 yrs of this service. What a regretful decision to hire this agent for my vacation. I’d recommend not to opt this tour & travels.
……….
After reading his reply to my review, I should add these facts. Yes, I asked this man only a day before, due to my sudden vacation plan. But I didn’t force him to provide me a service. Neither was I begging to him. I told him my entire plan of 5 days and he agreed to it, and then gave me a price which I agreed to. And then in the mid way, he escalated the price as I posted earlier. And see his language. Calling me foolish. Anyone would understand what sort of service this man would deliver.

Here’s my honest review on my recent Kedarnath tour booking with Universal adventures. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour with all bookings and arrangements made perfectly. In Kedarnath we faced some issues with the room provided, but when I called the representative he immediately got it repaired and even offered to get the room changed. Given the reconstruction work happening in Kedarnath it is very difficult to get a replacement. Special thanks to Gourab and Om Tiwari who helped me in every aspect of planning. The taxi driver was very accommodating and helpful. Highly recommend this tour operator.

Really good arrangement of trip except for hotel in Rudraprayag. The team Gorab and Abhishek were really helpful in solving queries on the trip. Everything was well but the driver we had was rash driving on occasions and the vehicle supplied to 4 of us was too small and cramped up. We opted for do dham yatra and had a really good time for 8 days.
Sahana Urs (☆ 3/5)

We had initially booked Do Dham Yatra with Universal Adventures. However due to non availability of helicopter tickets, we had to cancel this tour and change to Maharashtra Yatra as we could cover 3 jyotirlingas there.
Though initially I faced comunication issues with Universal Adventures when they became unresponsive for a few days while asking for refund for cancelled tour etc, later for my Maharashtra Yatra I faced no issues.. My fulfilment manager Mr. Harshit Arora was always available for any queries and all services were provided as promised in the itinerary. The driver we got, Mr. Praful Kale, was also very polite and soft spoken. We did not face any issues with the road journey, which we were apprehensive of, because it was an eight day tour.
Going by my experience with Maharashtra Yatra booking with Harshit Arora, overall I am a satisfied customer.
Archana Udupa-Simha (☆ 4/5)

I had a terrible experience with Universal Travel. I paid 750 initially for a Bangalore to Howrah ticket, with the promise it would be confirmed from WL 147. Despite assurances, they demanded the rest on Nov 30, assuring confirmation by Dec 1. On checking, it was RAC 51, not confirmed as promised. They argued I didn’t request a fully confirmed ticket and also got the gender wrong. Planning to take legal action for this fraudulent service. Avoid booking tickets with this agency; they seem to think people are naive. They failed to acknowledge that after WL, tickets automatically move to RAC. A truly frustrating experience. Don’t trust Universal Travel—they treat customers poorly and overlook basic ticketing processes.

Such a poor transport I have never come across in my life. If we are traveling in this bus our life is under Risk. No security, No guarantee to our life because of their rash driving. Bus pick up and drop is not done at accurate time. The bus facility is completely Nill. Please don’t travel in this travel and do not ever recommend to your friends as well.
