I have taken scheme in one area and purchased in Rajajinagar. Collection was good. As weekend more collection was there. With lot patient they shown. Out of scheme making and gst is became more so I gave my old gold. Extra amount they gave credit note. With in 6 months we need to go and buy. Some 30% offer running on making I went following week again. As working day I couldn’t find much collection. So scheme is accepted almost all Malabar they say when we take while taking near by they say which shop we go only hear we redeem but not right any branch must accept. We saw 3 shops and finally taken in Rajajinagar. If in case we like the product and come next 10 days need to take photo of the barcode. So when we visit not there means we can show bar code they will arrange in 3 days we can buy.

Beware of purchasing in Malabar gold & diamond showroom –
The quality of gold ornaments is really bad and the making charges are exorbitant. I purchased an earring for my kid and also mentioned that we need the ornaments for daily usage to the sales person. Before sales the personnel over promise that their gold designs are great but after purchase they wash their hands, even their managers walk away without hearing the customers concerns. I wasted my hard earned money paying making charges for pathetic quality. Please don’t be a victim for their questionable gold quality

I would strongly advise against buying from here online. My experience with their delivery process has been nothing short of frustrating.

They took the full payment nearly 20–25 days in advance. Under the pretext of “jewelry making,” they asked me to wait while gold prices kept rising. Even when the jewelry was supposedly ready for dispatch, they delayed it again, claiming additional time was needed—another 20+ days.

To make matters worse, they later demanded extra charges, saying more gold was added. And just when I thought it was all finally settled, they used Blue Dart, one of the worst courier services I’ve dealt with. The courier never called or contacted me and then falsely claimed my address was incorrect.

Now, Joyalukkas tells me the item will be returned to their warehouse and I’ll be issued a refund. After an entire month of delays and rising gold prices, this feels like a joke—except I’m definitely not laughing.

I deeply regret ordering jewelry online from them. This experience has been stressful and disappointing from start to finish.

We visited the Malabar jewellery show room . It has very beautiful interior and stacked of stocks. Designs are good. They made good look ornaments and competitive designs. It was nice and good look. It has very good arrangement of sitting place for customers. It had neat rest rooms. They served tea, coffee often with out tiredness. My friend bought some ornaments all are well workmanship and dedicated creations.

The collections in Malabar Gold and diamonds are exceptional! Especially in MG Road and Dickenson road branch.

You will get both traditional and modern collections. The staff were surprisingly more humble and they will try their best to show the best piece you are looking for!

They have don’t have single bangle collection and service is very bad. Gold scheme I missed one instalment for which they increased 5% making charges and repair work was so bad that the broken bangle did not get fixed. I waited for Manage for 40 mins to have a word. He was least bothered to attend. Wasted in total 5-6 hrs Today I end my 15 year relationship with Malabar Gold.

We had enrolled in the Gold Plan with Malabar in Bangalore and recently closed the plan. At the time of closing, we had accumulated 76 grams of gold. We chose to collect the gold from the Trichy branch, where they provided a rough bill with 14% wastage. However, the same bill generated from the Bangalore branch mentioned 16% wastage, and they asked us to pay the difference.

Additionally, based on the current gold rate of ₹1,984 per gram, I actually have extra gold in my account. But in the bill, they only reduced ₹400, which doesn’t make sense mathematically. The managers at the branch were unable to explain the billing properly, and their system seems completely flawed.

This experience was very disappointing. My humble request to others is: please do not opt for the Gold Plan with Malabar. Once your money is with them, they do not listen to your concerns or treat you fairly.

I tried to give nagative review but no such options better avoid this shop to save your money, atleast you can save minimum 6k for 8 grams and even they manager don’t having basic knowledge to address the customer issue, he will repatly telling same thing without lession customer issue, I request for management pls change the manager

Tanishq chain. Their machinery default which he agreed to. Went to this store and asked to fix it/repair it. The person in the store who attended me denied bluntly having a solution to it and asked to either go for a new exchange or purchase a new one.

His arguments were –

‘Machine made – so you cannot wear it daily.’

Can’t send it to factory – too much of a work for him to give any customer experience ( coz he is just doing a job and who takes the pain of a customer satisfaction . Brand names gets ruined for employees like them)

Their competitor brand specially mentioning Malabar Gold fixed a dangler earring purchased from Dubai actually. No questioned asked , sent it to factory took 15 -20says and got it done .

Extremely disappointed. Please don’t sell products which has no guarantee or defective to customers. It’s gold for God sake.

Today I visited Tanishq, Koramangala with my sister and we were disgusted with their service. I wanted to sell my earrings which I had brought from their store recently. We had clearly mentioned that I had brought from their store and after a thorough check a Tamil speaking staff agreed that they were indeed Tanishq’s product. He clearly said that I can get cash after checking for the purity and melting it. He made me sign some form. But after melting and weighing, he completely reversed his stand and said that we can only exchange and they have no policy of buyback and giving cash. He started lying that we never mentioned to him about buying my earrings from Tanishq. I wonder how such a reputed company can employ such a liar. It was a terrible and disgusting experience for me and my sister. Never will we recommend this store for anyone.
