A fabulous experience. Highly recommended. A beautiful serene location in a busy, noisy city. The Club floor is especially wonderful, with daily high tea and cocktail hours. The service is professional and courteous, as well as welcoming and friendly. I’d single out Tushar as being especially attentive and helpful going above and beyond to make our stay feel extra special.

Visited as a GHA member mainly for the swimming pool, and it was a delightful experience. The pool is well-maintained, serene, and surrounded by lush greenery, making it feel like a peaceful retreat in the middle of the city. Staff were courteous and attentive, ensuring a smooth experience. After the swim, I tried their food and was impressed with both the quality and presentation – fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Truly a blend of luxury, comfort, and world-class hospitality.

Good example of style and class. Well maintained. Great hospitality, very down to earth staff. Evening 6.30 ritual is good. Good reception, good food, restaurant area outside the AC seating has mosquitoes, but that’s natural. Food rates are over priced and can be worked upon.

I had a wonderful stay at The Leela Palace Bangalore. From the moment I arrived, the warm and welcoming hospitality stood out. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with all the modern amenities you’d expect from a luxury property. I especially enjoyed the serene views and the lush greenery surrounding the hotel—perfect for a peaceful walk outdoors.

The breakfast selection was impressive, offering a range of delicious international cuisines. The hotel also features a well-equipped gym and a relaxing spa area, making it easy to unwind and recharge. Overall, a truly memorable experience and a place I would gladly return to.

Overall very nice experience staying at the Leela Palace. The hotel staff is very helpful and professional. I enjoyed the food especially having gluten free options. Only small complaint was power outages for a few minutes due to construction work. The hotel has a relaxing atmosphere.

I had a corporate visit to The Leela Palace, where Lobby 11 was booked for the event. The ambience of the property was simply majestic, leaving a lasting impression. Everything was well organized and smoothly managed. An arrangement of snacks was provided, and the food was both tasty and pleasantly light.

Overall, it was an amazing experience.

We had gone to ITC Gardenia for a group dinner. We were 45 of us and had made reservations in advance as it was the only way to give a heads up to the hotel for a large gathering. ||To our utter shock when we reached the venue there was no table available for us. After a lot of chaos and waiting for 45 mins they are arranged for tables in the bar area which was quite far from the buffet counter. To comfort us the hotel suggested to serve the starters at the table. Soon we realised that this was an eye wash because half of the starters were not served and the buffet counters were empty, taking ages to refill. The poor service didn’t end at starters and continued for the main course also which was empty to an extent where we were served yellow daal instead of daal makhani. ||The whole experience felt like we had gate crashed a wedding with atrocious leftovers to eat. This is the kind of service we get after spending so much money and giving business to the hotel. ||Please do not visit in large group and waste your money as they are not at all equipped to manage big crowds.

We booked a family function at ITC Gardenia expecting world-class service, but what we got was complete mismanagement and disappointment.||From the very beginning, the experience was nothing short of a blame-passing exercise. Initially, we were dealing with Kairvi, who came across as polite and professional. But shockingly, the very next morning, we were suddenly handed over to Ankita without any handover of discussions or commitments already made. Ankita turned out to be extremely difficult to deal with. Given the urgency of our event, we had no choice but to proceed. By evening, she too passed us on to Kamlesh, who had no authority to resolve issues and could only keep apologizing on behalf of his team’s arrogance.||Despite agreeing to every demand the hotel made (multiple licenses just to play music, accepting all their restrictions, etc.), they continued to mess things up. We had been absolutely clear from day one about the liquor brands we wanted and had confirmations from the team. But shockingly, a night before the event, we were informed by Kamlesh that the beverage manager got “confused” and procured the wrong brands. To make matters worse, the hotel apparently stocks only one brand of gin, and we were told to just accept it — all this while charging us premium prices for rooms and services.||This is not what anyone expects from a so-called luxury hotel. Instead of making our special occasion memorable, ITC Gardenia went out of their way to create stress, confusion, and disappointment.||If you truly care about your family events, do not book ITC Gardenia. They will spoil your moments and leave you with nothing but frustration.

Rooms are big and comfortable. Definitely you can see they are a bit old (furniture, tiles, light switches) yet it is compensated by cleanliness, “green” values, iPad that controls all room functions. The hotel itself has plenty of welcoming staff. The best verity breakfast I’ve had in India and the plants all around really make it unique. Close to the park and definitely quite and enjoyable stay. As I come from a different country, having built in power switches that fit all most international outlets is very comfortable

This is a great hotel with good ambiance and customer service. They don’t give you their very good rooms if you book through third party sites. My balcony on second floor was a dead end space with no views. I think the websites need to specify this rather than letting your customers down. Morning buffet was quite good. Overall I give it 4 stars coz of the poor balcony view that I was looking forward to spend my evening.

One of the finest hotels I’ve ever experienced. The service is truly exceptional—beyond words. Every staff member is warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. Their in-house Japanese restaurant, Edo, is absolutely to die for. A solid 10/10… if not more. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

The hotel is very clean, with spacious and luxurious rooms. Staff is super friendly and helpful and understands very well what hospitality means. The food was excellent, with plenty of Indian and western dishes. I especially liked walking around and sitting in the huge lobby and bar at night, with a pleasant evening breeze. I will stay here again next time, despite the long commutes.

This review is on the Mysore hall wherein I was part of a large event. The conference facilities are excellent including the large spacious halls and meeting areas. The location is prime and accessible with good parking facility. The cleanliness especially that of carpets could be better. The service and food are very good.

I’ve been staying at the Lalit Ashok in Bangalore for a week and have been going to the gym daily. I must say, the experience has been fantastic, largely thanks to Arun Kumar, the gym trainer. Arun is exceptional at what he does. His training sessions are well-structured and incredibly effective. He provides the best muscle-building suggestions and tailors his advice to individual needs. His dedication and expertise have made a significant difference in my fitness journey. I highly recommend Arun Kumar to anyone looking to improve their fitness and overall well-being.

Very nice gym.. beautiful view looking out towards the pool and attached terrace. However it could do better with 1. Little better space planning. Looks a bit cluttered with some stations too close to each other and very little warm up space. 2. I did not see Yoga mats and towels when I walked in. Some people had carried their personal mats but again space to lay out mats is too little. 3. Dumbbells did not have clear weight markings. 4. A vertical pigeonhole kind of rack for people to leave their manholes and water bottles would help. But overall a well equipped and a very good feel gym.

I had booked a single occupancy room with a double bed on Trip.com. My minor son was with me. Instead of handling it with grace, the front desk made a huge scene, demanding $80 extra—when booking double occupancy from the start would have been about $15 more. Trip.com doesn’t even allow adding a guest after booking, but that didn’t stop the hotel from exploiting the situation.The absurdity didn’t stop there. I was informed that no one could visit me in my room after 8 p.m.—is this a hostel or a 5-star property? And to add insult to injury, when I tried to take a picture of this ridiculous “rule,” the doorman literally stood in my way and tried to snatch the paper from my hands.The food? A washed-out chicken sandwich for $40 that would be rejected by any decent café. The room? Faded, worn-out towels and linens, half the lights flickering or broken, giving off the ambience of neglect, not luxury.And then there’s the national flag. Since when does a private hotel earn the right to host India’s national flag. Is this even allowed. While at the same time failing so spectacularly to embody the warmth, dignity, and pride that it stands for? A true 5-star hotel in India welcome guests with respect and genuine car Taj for example, even a modest 1-star in Bangalore offers more authentic hospitality.This stay was not just disappointing—it was an insult to the very concept of our definition of what Indian hospitality stands for.

Arun kumar is a great instructor. His technique is unique and very effective. He has a great understanding of individual needs and help achieve goals.|I’m a regular here at Asoka and visit the gym often and it is always great to have him by. |Kudos Lalit Asoka on getting great talent like him as a trainer.

its a lovely hotel. present at prime location, its ammenities are amazing. great rooms, nice spa. both the food quality and quantity is high, but you are paying premium for it. swimming pool was good too with clean water.
the hotel staff was really helpfull, but they were confused at times re. their processes. mr. Satish was a very helpfull guy during my swimming activity. the best of all, they allowed me to swim despite of my blindness.

We travel a lot across the country and globally for work, and I can say with confidence that JW Marriott Bangalore has one of the best hospitalities I have experienced. Nishant, Sukhpal and Amrish are incredible at their work. Their warmth, personal attention and protectiveness is top notch. I’ll keep coming back to this hotel not for the rooms or amenities, but mainly for the people.

JW Marriott made my first trip to Banglore truly memorable. From the moment I checked in I was greeted by the friendliest and most accommodating staff. The onsite restaurants are excellent. Remember to pack your swim gear, the pool is great! I’d like to especially mention Mahesh in making my first trip here remarkable.

I had the most incredible experience here. The staff were incredibly courteous and friendly, and ensured my entire stay went smoothly. My room staff was Raman, and made sure I had everything I needed and made sure to suggest turndown service in the evening. There is a wonderful breakfast with an array of local and international foods, a filter coffee station, and complimentary bottled water. I highly recommend this hotel when visiting the area.

recently stayed at JW Marriott in Bengaluru for a week with my leadership team for a business conference. While my overall stay and hospitality was warm and welcoming, there were some surprising lapses in service that I wouldn’t have expected from a brand of this caliber!!!

The highlights? The little touches that made me feel at home. Payal from JW Kitchen greeted me every morning with a warm smile and recognized my room number by my face. Athili, the lovely housekeeper, did a fresh flower décor on my bed each day and created the most soothing turndown tub service after long workdays. Dinesh from the concierge went above and beyond by bringing me medication when I wasn’t feeling well – even though I had only requested for a cup of cumin seeds. The AYS team was consistently responsive and polite. Laasya from Guest Relations made my day with a sweet JW note and treat for being a Bonvoy member. Sakthi from the wellness center took care of us with genuine kindness during facility maintenance. And Abhishek from housekeeping was always warm and engaging in our interactions!!

Other favorites from my stay included the fantastic breakfast spread, the well-equipped wellness center, pool, and gym, and the beautiful view of Cubbon Park from my room’s balcony. The smiling restaurant staff, who patiently served me without a single frown, truly elevated my experience, and I really appreciate each and everyone from the F&Brb team! They did a fabulous job!!!!

However, there were some aspects that fell short. One day, I returned to my room and found a small dead roach inside a paper bag of breakfast bread I had packed and accidentally left behind. While I can’t say for sure whether it came from the kitchen or the room, it was alarming. Housekeeping was inconsistent with some basic stuffs like one of the trash bins left uncleared, the kettle not cleaned for nearly five days, and essentials like water bottles and glasses were sometimes not restocked. I ignored these, thinking they were one-time misses, but it began to feel like a recurring pattern. At breakfast one day, my simple request for a one-egg cheese masala omelette with chicken sausages got messed up – twice!!!

One particularly disappointing experience was when I arranged a surprise room decoration for the son of our company’s COO (who was also staying there). I had clearly asked the GRM, Sanchita, to inform me once the guests had stepped out before starting the decoration – but she didn’t. The surprise was mishandled. Karan, the RDM, made a kind gesture to redo the setup in another room and added our gift, which I truly appreciated. However, neither he nor the original GRM followed up with me or met me afterward. Sanchita, in particular, didn’t acknowledge the oversight or offer a sincere apology, and I truly feel that she doesn’t have the eye for detail that a GRM should have!!

Despite all this, I want to highlight that many team members were truly exceptional – their warmth, smiles, and willingness to go the extra mile made parts of my stay genuinely memorable. But at a JW Marriott, I do expect the basics to be non-negotiable: clean and well-serviced rooms, consistent housekeeping, and accurate attention to guest requests. That’s what defines luxury!!

I hope this feedback helps the team improve and better align guest experiences with the high standards JW is known for!

Would I return? Possibly yes – or maybe not!!! Only time can tell that!!

I had an unpleasant incidence at this hotel where I stayed one night from 5th of September. I was put up at this hotel by the organizers of a medical conference for which I was an invited speaker. The incident happened as I was checking out. I was taken aback to be told that I had an unpayed bill for a packet of choclate cookies which was probably reported by the housekeeping . I had not taken anything from the fridge and I told the manager at the checkout . Seeing I was getting upset, the senior person stepped in and said I didn’t have to pay!! Therefore it is my word against the cleaning/ housekeeping staff and it was ridiculously embarrassing to be in this situation. You should have a better mechanism in place rather than embarass a guest. Next time lock the damn fridge and have the snack ordered as room service or better still by card swiping … anything.|Additionally I had told the organizers that I wanted a late check out. However when I tried to use the lift my card in the late afternoon, was deactivated!|The toileteries were old – the moisturizer nozzle was stuck and wouldn’t open. There was no body wash in the container within the shower cubicle. |All in all not a good feeling to have stayed briefly in this hotel.

I stayed here for the past week. The food and service at the restaurant were excellent, and the staff throughout the hotel were attentive and helpful. Overall, I really appreciated the hospitality.

That said, I did find the strong synthetic fragrances used in the rooms and corridors to be overwhelming. As someone with allergies, this made my stay more difficult and uncomfortable. Even after returning home and washing my clothes in hot water, the scent still lingers, which has been extremely frustrating.

Hotels should have a neutral, odor-free atmosphere, which has mostly been my experience with other 5-star properties.

Update: Despite washing all my clothes in vinegar and hot water, the cheap fragrance lingers. I regret staying at this hotel. I’m not considering buying new sets of clothes and bags because the fragrance is too strong to put up with.

We had an amazing afghan cuisine experience here. The chicken tandoori and spring lamb dish were so tasty. The service in this restaurant is tip top. Everyone is so helpful and respectful. Moorthy was very attentive and gave us great choices to choose. Will be back again

Stayed here for 9 nights. Overall experience was good. The staff and leadership were open to feedback. Extremely courteous staff from top to bottom. The suites and sanitary ware need some upkeep. The property is old and has heritage value. The suites have lovely old world solid wood furniture but there were ample dust observed in the cracks and crevices of the furniture. The switches and plug points were malfunctioning. Informed housekeeping executive about the same. Overall, a lovely property ideal for business travellers and romantic couples.

This is my second stay at ITC Windsor and I couldn’t be more happy to visit this hotel once again. Rachana’s hospitality was splendid- she recommended some amazing traditional South Indian meals for my breakfast for me to try during my stay and I was very happy. The staff at this location is quick to help with any request. I had family coming to visit me for a few hours at this hotel and everyone was accommodating providing extra seating for my guests. Couldn’t be happier and can’t wait to visit again.

I’d also like to appreciate a lady ( for the name but who is from bali some where in west bengal) from ront desk whose hospitality stood out, mr nawaj from security makes sure that arrival is smooth.|A shout out to the young team at 7 rjvers – though i missed their names , i fondly remember they were from north east india and west bengal. Their energy added to the experience.|There were a few short comings in in room dining which i am confident will be addressed and improved upon in future visits.|Last but cerntainly not least , heartfelt thanks to Mr. JAaykant shroff , who is always approchable and ensures everything runs smoothly.|Thank you sir.

My family and I spent 6 nights at this exemplary masterpiece of a hotel and I must say it has been the most memorable of my experiences so far. The staff from the doorman to the restaurant to the front desk and the housekeeping, each one contributing to give their customers the most wonderful experience which truly resonates what the Taj stands for.

We will most definetely come back soon to once again experience the warmth and gracefulness of the most friendly people and staff of the Taj.

” for three nights for a work conference. Overall, it was a perfectly adequate experience that did the job, but it wasn’t without its flaws. If you’re looking for a no-frills place to sleep in a great spot, this could work for you, but it’s important to set your expectations.

Except cellent service by front office,(sarupa as she followed up each and every need),reservation (Christin) wonderful voice and humble wonderful greeting as we check in the property excellent service by in room dining as they were very prompt in the order and delivered dinner on time with a smile , Housekeeping service was provided as I requested shaving cream and wet cloth bag it’s was given fast |Over all restaurant and bar service was good but they could do better with there smile |We will be back soon with the taj family

It is a luxury property with a classy outlook. I liked the Ritz-Carlton bar. Shub and Saumyadip were amazing and they even customized the drink to my liking! I would definitely recommend people to stay here and checkout the bar! ||I have a customized photo frame as well! Thanks for making this special!

We stayed at The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore, for two nights, and I can confidently say this was one of the best hotels I’ve ever experienced. The hospitality here is truly exceptional. Every staff member—from the reception to the Club Lounge—was warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, making us feel more like family than guests.||We were traveling with our infant, and the team went out of their way to ensure our little one was comfortable and well cared for. Their thoughtfulness and attention to detail truly touched us and made our stay even more special.||A special mention to Tanu, Sabrijeet, Limakala, Riya, and Brijesh at the Marketplace Restaurant, who went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. The service is good, property is beautiful.
Food is fine, very limited options for vegetarians. And when asked, few among them were not available also.. so that made our options very limited. The taste was fine. The price is for service, ambience, hygiene more than the food

The staff is really nice and helpful, the rooms are clean and the hotel is decent too. The pool closes at 8pm only. And the policies are bizzare. Paid 17k a night for the room for 3 nights (corporate booking) and they charged me for 45 Rupees extra for 3 packet of chips! Felt petty by the end.

Excellent staff that helped me with all my needs. Jyoti at the reception helped me with an easy room upgrade and clearly explained the benefits that came in with it. That came in handy later. Scrumptious breakfast served everyday that was worthwhile.

had a great experience staying here. The check-in took a little longer than expected (around 8 minutes), but the way the staff greeted and hosted us made up for it—it really felt warm and genuine. The hospitality throughout the stay was excellent.

Once we got to our room, everything was spotless, and all the requests we had made in advance were taken care of without any hassle. The highlight of my stay was definitely the terrace view—watching the sunset over the city while relaxing by the swimming pool was truly unforgettable.

Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and I would happily come back again.

If only I had the option to give more than 5 I would have given it. It was my birthday weekend and they made sure to make it as special as possible. They gave a complimentary room upgrade, lounge access, cake and wine all just to make me feel special. The room is spacious with direct view of the racecourse and the breakfast spread is amazing. The front staff and the restaurant staff are all amazing. Totally recommended!

We stayed here 3 times during our holiday in India. Every time was just as good as the last. We liked the interconnecting rooms which were spacious and clean, service was fast and food was very tasty. Taxi service was reliable and safe. Shoutout to the boys that helped with our luggage. We also did left luggage which was so easy. Overall a great experience!

My orders took over 20 minutes to arrive – until I personally spoke with the manager it finally delivered( this is around 30 mins after we placed the order)

What’s worse is that this wasn’t just a one-time issue — it happened three mornings in a row. I regret booking an additional five nights here, because the breakfast experience so far has been frustrating

I specifically chose this hotel because it was advertised online as a “five-star” property, but the service here is nowhere near that standard. Fulfilling basic breakfast orders should not be this difficult.

This was my second time dining at the Holiday Inn Restaurant in Bangalore, and once again, it exceeded all expectations.||The food was amazing. Every dish I ordered was a delight, and I totally recommend the tomato soup with croutons.||What has truly impressed me and has made my day again was the exceptional service. A heartfelt thank you to Sachin and Soumyameet, who were both incredibly courteous and attentive. Their professionalism and warmth made me feel genuinely welcomed and well looked after throughout the meal.||Having returned for a second visit, I can confidently say this restaurant offers one of the best dining experiences in Bangalore. Whether you’re staying at the hotel or visiting for a special meal, the Holiday Inn Restaurant is absolutely worth it.

Chancery pavilion a treasure for Bangalore, I had an excellent stay with good food, excellent service, dinner options. room service was also excellent. especially in front desk / reception team always ready to help and took care of me and others also well. alchemy being a silver lining to their place. would like to appreciate Mohammad and satheesh @ front desk. value for money stay. one cannot get a better central place for business district access. atmosphere especially a sprawling reception and portico area. Recommend this hotel. Probably you should book well in advance. Can have a covered root from parking to lobby.

A wonderful stay right in the heart of the city. Location is excellen, Rooms are big and spotless. Stfff were extremely friendly, helpful and always service with a smile, especially Praveen at breakfast . The bar, Alchemy, serves amazing cocktails and we received a 10% discount as a guest of the hotel

We recently stayed at Chancery Pavilion for a 2-day business visit and had a wonderful experience overall. Here are the highlights:

– *Rooms*: Spacious and well-maintained, with comfortable beds. However, the pillow height could be improved.
– *Washrooms*: Clean and well-equipped, with excellent toiletries provided.
– *Breakfast*: The spread was excellent, with a wide range of South Indian and continental dishes. The service was excellent, and the food tasted fantastic.
– *Amenities*:
– *Gym*: Well-equipped with abundant workout equipment.
– *Meeting Rooms*: Spacious and suitable for business meetings.
– *Outdoor Catering*: Good quality and service.
– *Swimming Pool*: Excellent and well-maintained.
– *Room Service*: Unfortunately, it was not up to the mark, requiring multiple calls for even basic amenities.
– Alchemy bar at roof top was excellent choice, especially when sunsets.

Despite the room service issues, our overall stay was wonderful, and the hotel offered great value for the price. The food, amenities, and spacious rooms made it a great choice for our business visit.

Just been here a couple of days ago and I have to say it lives up to the standard. The hotel gives an old vibe, not in a bad way but in a more nostalgic sense. The hospitality is a 10/10, the food is not incredible but hey they can’t always be perfect. The alchemy restaurant has a beautiful view of the city and although I don’t drink, it does seem like a treat for people who like a fresh pint of beer and it’s very possible because of their own microbrewery. The breakfast buffet was perfection! Huge spread and 10/10 taste. Overall the hotel was worth the money and definitely deserves 4/5 stars. Could’ve been 5/5 if the a-la-carte was a bit better. Would definitely consider staying here again.

We stayed at the Chancery Pavillion for 4 nights. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The buffet breakfast was excellent – 5 stars for the breakfast service.
However, the rooms are very dated and the room decor stands out like a setting from back in the 80s. The TV in the room was full of dust and looks like they didn’t bother to clean it for weeks…there was dust all over the TV.
The bathroom shower was a cheap plastic shower that kept rattling when it was in use.
The washbasin has silicon paste plastered around it to cover the gaping space. The air outlet in the washbasin had mold in it. Signs it was not cleaned for ages.
There was water leaking on the toilet floor which made it very uncomfortable.
The hotel is in need of a complete update especially of its room decor.

Generally all breakfast items are good but masala dosa batter had no or less salt … same with chutney … Meduvada and sambar is below par. breakfast spread is good …. |Nishal Rai the table attendant has been nice and cordial
