They’ll claim to sell “authentic” corals, diamonds, and more, but the reality is their jewelry falls apart within a year. Stones start showing white marks, and when you confront them about it, the manager SHIBIN is absolutely useless—just tries to push you into buying more overpriced junk and makes you wait around with no real solution. Avoid this scam at all costs.

All went okay and paid . Payment went through.
However, I have grave misgivings about transparency.
One of the staff members serving me took down all details of my credit card on a slip of paper. After payment was cleared they said.Why?
That was unwarranted!
Then during billing, the other server was asked something by the teller and I could sense discomfort on the part of the server. He then turned to me and asked me to take a seat. It was not possible to find space to sit.
Awkward!
This is not how I remember Service at Joy Alukkas before 2010.
I am now wary…
I have not mentioned names of the serving staff.
Hopefully, I will not face any issues about my purchases and that my peace of mind is not disturbed. And, there will be no scams.

The outlet and hospitality is good. They have a different and wide range of collections.
I purchased a birth stone ring, I used it for only 10 days, the stone fell down. When I visited the store, even the hook broke. They said they will repair and give . The point is they charge 18% making charges on simple rings and the quality of the product is low. When the quality is not up to the Mark, why should we pay 18%? When I asked to change they said no, it’s not in our company rules. I even requested I’ll pay for the stone as the stone is not reused.
I used the ring for just 10 days and they said they will take it back as old gold. For using it for 10 days it was like I should pay 5 to 6k.
Really disappointed with their service.

We had enrolled in the Gold Plan with Malabar in Bangalore and recently closed the plan. At the time of closing, we had accumulated 76 grams of gold. We chose to collect the gold from the Trichy branch, where they provided a rough bill with 14% wastage. However, the same bill generated from the Bangalore branch mentioned 16% wastage, and they asked us to pay the difference.
Additionally, based on the current gold rate of ₹1,984 per gram, I actually have extra gold in my account. But in the bill, they only reduced ₹400, which doesn’t make sense mathematically. The managers at the branch were unable to explain the billing properly, and their system seems completely flawed.
This experience was very disappointing. My humble request to others is: please do not opt for the Gold Plan with Malabar. Once your money is with them, they do not listen to your concerns or treat you fairly.
I tried to give nagative review but no such options better avoid this shop to save your money, atleast you can save minimum 6k for 8 grams and even they manager don’t having basic knowledge to address the customer issue, he will repatly telling same thing without lession customer issue, I request for management pls change the manager

Tanishq chain. Their machinery default which he agreed to. Went to this store and asked to fix it/repair it. The person in the store who attended me denied bluntly having a solution to it and asked to either go for a new exchange or purchase a new one.
His arguments were –
‘Machine made – so you cannot wear it daily.’
Can’t send it to factory – too much of a work for him to give any customer experience ( coz he is just doing a job and who takes the pain of a customer satisfaction . Brand names gets ruined for employees like them)
Their competitor brand specially mentioning Malabar Gold fixed a dangler earring purchased from Dubai actually. No questioned asked , sent it to factory took 15 -20says and got it done .
Extremely disappointed. Please don’t sell products which has no guarantee or defective to customers. It’s gold for God sake.

Yesterday, I got to visit this branch, especially I had gone here Diknson Road ( Yellappa Garden) from Electronics City despite having multiple branches around, considering good designs and customer service. The lady/guy who were attending us were humble and were showing based on our interests. However when the final billing time came their Manager name called ” Sunil” he came, such a rude behaviour and mannerless that guy is first of all he should not be customer facing since he dont have manners to speak to customer, such a bad behaviour & attitue this guy has, he should not be first of all in this store. Bhima management, please make sure that this guy is sacked !!!! SIC!!!. i was thinking of continuing my plan for the coming few years but due to the so-called guy “Sunil,” i will never step in that branch..

This is the worst Tanishq experience I have ever had and I have been to a number of Tanishq stores and have bought a number of items from them.
We visited the Tanishq Koramangala store recently as I wanted to buy a good chain for my fiance. We immediately liked a chain and proceeded towards the billing. We wanted to use our friends card as it has some benefits. We asked the Abdul guy what’s the procedure and he mentioned to send a mail from the card holders id and attach an identity proof with the same. We followed the same and asked our friend to send out a mail which he did.This guy named Abdul from the staff, he made us sit there for close to an hour. During that time he and the store manager (Firoz Ahmed, if I am not mistaken)insisted us multiple times to close our ongoing investment plan with Tanishq and start a new one with them. We straight away said no to that.
Post that they started saying we can’t give this away to you ma’am as we need the third party and some stupid excuses.
Long story short: if this was the case, they could have straight away said us so, so that we could have checked out some other store for the same product. Instead, they wasted our time. The reason we were visiting today was because the gold rate was considerably low today and we couldn’t even use that to our advantage.
DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE AT ALL!!!!!!

I’ve invested in their Golden Harvest scheme, found it way better option than what other jewellers give, it was transparent and no hidden charges.
Came to know that they are using Indium as soldering material for gold which is far far superior and long lasting than cadmium, even famous jewellers on the same street were not giving Indium soldering.

When I placed my ring order on March 16th, I was informed that I would be eligible for a birthday/anniversary discount. I mentioned that my birthday is on March 1st, and was told I qualified for the offer. However, when I went to collect the ring on April 3rd, I was denied the discount, with the reason being that it only applies within 21 days before or after the birthday or anniversary.
This condition was never communicated to me at the time of placing the order. When I pointed this out, the staff acknowledged that the employee who handled my order failed to mention it, and simply apologized.
I feel this is not the right way to handle customer communication or experience. Clear information should be shared upfront, and customers shouldn’t have to face such confusion at the final stage. I hope this feedback is taken seriously to avoid such issues in the future.
